That boom truck is really coming in handy on your house build and for your business in general. It keeps you from having to rent one every time you need one. It’s there every day so you don’t have to wait on one being available or having to worry about returning it on time. It’s well worth the price you paid for it.

Hello Geoff, I do look forward to your videos and I do think your dog dog would love a little puppy of the same breed. He would bond with the puppy and his days would always be happy! You must be under a lot of stress with everyone looking to you for answers every day, so perhaps you could task Chris Guins to come take over the build for a week and you and the Mrs go on a short honeymoon. He's bored and just fooling around in junk yards anyway.
A concrete separator floor is going to be gold overtime with the sound dampening. I always liked the concept of a stone house, in this case molded stone. I sometimes wonder what the price difference is between concrete outer/ load bearing walls, and stick frame. It has to be either significant or a case of concrete supply, because everyone probably would prefer one.
If you're going to set iron with a crane, consider buying two way radios with headsets. Radios eliminate hand signals between the crane operator and the guys setting the iron. The commands are up or down in feet or inches. Thanks
Hey buddy see your roof beams are they galvanised steel or aluminium? Looking at how things get done here in the UK we use lots of steel beam for strength, but 99% of our homes here are brick built with 6cm air gaps between 2 brick or block walls then inside if they are load bearing we use blocks if not load bearing you get away with stuff walls and plaster board. House looks awesome mate really enjoying the progress.

Geoff , I was just sitting here and a thought popped up. With this house being built the way it is , could there be potential mold issues later on? I know concrete draws moisture and no air flow to keep it dry. Just curious as I don’t know for sure
Hey Jeff I reached out to super floor for a quote and they were quick with a price, do they do the steel as well or did you get that from someone else? Thought I would ask you what you did before I call them back. Thanks for sharing the project I've been enjoying it.
