ja maf hè! ik reageerde op al die mensen die zo moeilijk doen over of dit nou wel zweeds is of niet. Geen humor sommige mensen zou ik zeggen, dit is toch geweldig LOL
@onedoomedspacemarine That's what made Jim Hensen's stuff so great. He wasn't bothered by what some self-appointed experts might snootily call "good taste." Look at his early skits with monsters eating people. Today the parent focus groups would be appalled by that, but the kids back in the day weren't traumatized by skits like that. Quite the contrary, they loved it! I know this because I was one of them.
Ja, want dat Bananenlied is de bewerking van de Nederlandse vertaling van het originele "Yes we have no bananas" over een Griekse groenteverkoper (het origineel dus)
OK listen, I am PART swedish, I cant speak swedish but i can kind of under stand it. the swedish chef is speaking "MOCK SWEDISH" which is gibberish in reality, but to people who cant speak or understand swedish at all, it sounds pretty swedish to them. I think that all fellow swedes who know its not swedish, but still find the swedish chef funny are good sports... SWEDES 4EVER!!!!
Alright then, they came up with some jibberish and called it swedish without any recemblence to what you might think is our actual language. But you don't have to tell me that the muppets are supposed to be funny, I think I got that in the first place.
I love the Swedish Chef can't understand what he's singing and 2 people think he said Mick Jagger gotta hear this and he does sing better then Justin Bieber lol I'm From Australia
@collizz93 if you've seen how much of a beating swedish chef has taken in previous episodes, you'd understand why ((I mean buddy has had a fridge fall on him, and had his head bashed in countless times generally by his own meal))
+Emperor Botz Nope, this isn´t Swedish at all. The chef may be called "the Swedish chef" but he doesn´t speak Swedish. It´s just a mumbojumbo of words and so is this song! :)
I don't mean that you think it's swedish, but maybe there's some recemblence to what you think it might sound like? Because if it is'nt, what's the point :)
@4a8p9x i agree...and to think that the great minds of the future are stuck with "spongebob" and that kind of crap to look at because its "appropriate" for children. Well to think about it, past generations grew up on batman and spiderman and all those other "violent" comics and cartoons and things turned out fine but now they're looking at "non-violent" crap as stated above and the kids are turning to shit. Would someone save the kids?PLEASE? Have more shows like this...the muppets is a classic
@patchissues :Seeing how most Swedes don't speak like that, is he any relation to you? If yes then you should consider starting a cooking show. I'd watch it ;) (Joking, Don't take me too serious lol ;))
Awesome stuff! back in the days when you could parody things and no one took offence. all ya whiners get off your politically correct sensitivity and enjoy it for what it is satire. The only racism is in your own heads.
This has to be the best rendition of the song I've ever heard.
“I didn’t understand a word of that.”
“Mit frushka lader fluut fluug!”
“Oh! Well, why didn’t they say that in the first place?”
