    designers should work more on the glazing; the windows are so big, it feels like a fish tank :( other than that, very very good to see that this is the future of vehicle propulsion!

    Salut, vous l'avez branché comment chez vous? avec une simple rallonge et sur une prise de 120 volts? ou sur une prise de 240?

      mynameis Luke Bonjour. Elle était branché sur une prise 120v et j'avais chargé à 12A. Par défaut, la recharge se fait bizarrement seulment sur 8A.

    Is it stable on the highway?

    • @pierreroberge4927
      @pierreroberge4927 7 років тому +6

      Yes it is, surprisingly. It is a small car but thanks to the batteries, it is quite heavy. That gives it aplomb on the highway and also going over potholes, it feels more solid that a gas car of this size would.

    What is the average range you are getting?

    • @pierreroberge4927
      @pierreroberge4927 7 років тому

      I don't know, I just rented it for 1 day during the winter. The dashboard was mentioning 78km of range but I could not test it.

      I generally get 95 miles or so with careful driving on a 2016. If I'm aggressive or do a lot of 65mph highway driving, I get something in the 80s.

      That is great! I am being told that a Spark without a fast DC quick charge can be upgraded to a Fast DC, is that true?

    • @Nakameguro97

      Jon Car Not that I know know of (dealer said had to be factory installed). My Spark EV has the fast charger, and it makes a huge difference. At the local BMW dealer, I can get a full charge in about an hour. The PlugShare app is useful for finding DCFCs.

    I dont understand how a car with 400 + ft lbs and. 3xx ft lbs could be so slow. It amazes me how slow the ev sparks are

    I mean you buy a cheap car like that for utility not to go fast why don't they weigh it down with some battery's and get its range up

    • @Neojhun
      @Neojhun 7 років тому +2

      Wow that is stupid. High energy density batteries are Expensive. Adding more batteries would make the Spark EV not appropriately priced. Screw you for not wanting to go fast, modern BEVs are awesome because they are easily powerful and torquey. More power is useful utility.
