The pain Sayidah Safiya went through because of feeling left out hits so hard. Sometimes you really want to try your best for your faith and acceptance but jealousy is a human tendency. May Allah reward all the wives of RasulAllah Saw.

I have a lot of respect for all the wives of the Prophets saw. But I can only imagine the pain and loneliness our mother Safiyyah might have felt when she was teamed up against by the other wives of the prophet out of jealousy. Women can be very harsh with other women when they’re jealous and it was heartwarming to hear how Rasulullah protected and consoled her in the most beautiful way. She was definitely a woman who was tested a lot in this life. May Allah be pleased with her.
It's not just women. Jealousy in general can affect all human beings no matter how pious one is. Men's jealousy can be more dangerous depending on the situation just like women's jealousy.

Safiyyah binti Huyyah Is one of the muslimah I love the most! Especially her narrated story on how he met Rasulallah -shallahualaihi wassalam- is so romantic and fiction like (unless this is real) 💗 , I recommend every muslimah to look it up if not have been read it yet :)
i hope this women meet someone like muhammad and be "nicely" to your family like how he treat the family of safiyya. and after that the daughter of this women will married with muhammad and live happily together.
I have another perspective of this story, she did not accept Islam before marrying prophet, rather prophet killed her brother and father in war. She was not given choice rather she was taken by since our sahana before prophet took her and married her. Being a woman will you willingly marry a man who has killed your father and husband, why would she willingly accept Islam since she knows prophet of Islam killed her family in war,?
You are right.. it is ridiculous to show this as some act of compassion.. the history of this event makes you wonder if a messenger of god would do something like that.. kill the husband and father and then take safiyah as wife.. how noble
A special kind of evil to kill a womans husband and order her to marry you. - Ibn ‘Umar [al-Waqidi] - Kathir b. Zayd - al-Walid b. Rabah - Abu Hurayrah: While the Prophet was lying with Safiyah Abu Ayyub stayed the night at his door. When he saw the Prophet in the morning he said "God is the Greatest." He had a sword with him; he said to the Prophet, "O Messenger of God, this young woman had just been married, and you killed her father, her brother and her husband, so I did not trust her (not to harm) you." The Prophet laughed and said "Good". The History of Al-Tabari.

*safiyyah was a jew, she the converted to islam and her late husband too but the his husband converted to christianity and died she become a widow. when rosul wanted to marry her she said she likes islam not because rosul wanting to marry her but because she already loves islam from long time. - it is ok for women while in menstruation to not do tawaf wada: 7:15
Mohd enjoyed with her fr 3 days and then he married her... I have references? Firstly he has no right to capture her.. he bargain for having sufiyan with 7 slaves... Shame
The story of sayyida Safiya R A is very confusing and painful. On one hand there is a Hadith where Safiya is saying I am embracing Islam I want to marry you whereas another Hadith says She hated the prophet most. So if she hated him why would she offer herself in the first place. It seems she was forced into this marriage and later on the prophet console her.
@Ayomiii421 in olden times there was a norm, whomsoever win the war will have to undertake the women in their custody, and there were other norms also like taking captives and all. For example, in olden days if the king wins, then the wives of the defeated king will be taken by the one who won the battle. Now Muslims attacked khaybar fort in which Safiya bint Huyay lost her husband which means he was dead. Now Dahiya ibn Kalb asked the prophet if he can take Safiya as a captive, the prophet said yes. Now here, another Sahaba asked our prophey, O prophet how can you just say yes to Dahiya for Safiya, she is the daughter of chief of Banu nadir (chiefs daughter) plus the mistress of the chief of this tribe means her husband was also a chief. So as per the norm, she has to be given a good position since she lost her husband and her father in the last fight. Dahiya is not suitable for her as he was just a soldier. So they suggested to the prophet that she is a very beautiful lady and the daughter of the chief, no one fits her better than you as the prophet was the warlord. So in short as per the norm she has to be undertaken by the prophet. But these old norms in olden days were so painful. Just imagine today if someone attacks our husband and kills them. And after the husband's death they will say that we will bear all your costs and will get married to you. All this is so painful. There is so much contradiction in Hadith. So Safiya used to hate the prophet and she stated in a Hadith that I used to hate the prophet the most until he consoled me and he was the most loving man for me. He kept apologizing to her until she agreed with him. But there are certain Hadith which says she already wanted to become a Muslim and she offered herself to the prophet which I feel is a fake Hadith. I can agree to this point where she says that the prophet kept apologizing to her, appeased her until she agreed.
@Ayomiii421 this is what I said in other words, there is so much contradiction in hadiths. Few scholars say that this choice was given after marriage. I felt it was a fake Hadith as it further says that Safiya offered herself after hearing this and she wanted to become Muslim. Yes but it has been reported from another Hadith that the prophet never stopped her from meeting her relatives and there was no oppression on her. All these things from the prophet relieved her pain. Plus whatever property she had she gave it to one of her relatives. In other words, she was taken as a captive but the prophet married her and gave her all the rights of a wife. Now here the prophet had an option not to marry her what other warlords used to do at that time. He could keep her without nikah.
@_ferihaa that's what. All this is very painful. And i kept searching for answers.conclusion was it was not easy for the prophet to stop slavery on one go. So he asked ummah to release slaves and give them equal importance.
@_ferihaa she didn't forgive easily. The Prophet kept consoling and sought her forgiveness. He made her understand that if Muslims had not waged war against them then similar condition muslims would have faced. It was her father who was behind Muslims along with the mushriks of Mecca. What Safiya suffered, women on this side would have suffered. See it was old time and things were very difficult. It was a war. The one who lost the battle would suffer. Muslims won so jews suffered and vice versa
Mohammed wasn’t a very nice man, yes he did murder her family and the rest of her community, women were taken captive and shared out as sex slaves, do some research into the violent life of your prophet

This story is similar to that of Sayyidah Juwayriyyah RA?

Wow, the grandma filtered so many things to make look everything perfect.
In my opinion give importance to syyida safiyyah

How was she Jewish yet Muslim?
She was forced after they murdered her whole family...they forgot to mention that
Jewish ethnicity but Muslim in religion, not Jewish in religion.
She was Jewish later reverted back to Islam.
Not a nice thing to say? He murdered her family?
