- I love this time of year in Scotland. The sun never seems to rise very high in the sky, so we are rewarded with an all day golden hour 😊 Beautiful.
It may not have been the long gravel ride we planned but getting out even for the shortest of rides is what it’s all about. This short ride was packed full of adventure and a lot of ICE! Not the best conditions so we stayed safe and cut it short. Still a great ride out.

Same where I live snow and ice🥶 real hard going it’s going to be milder on Monday then we will probably get wind and rain 🥴but I’ll get out 👍🚴♂️ thanks for another 👍video

It’s great to get out in the snow. It’s beautiful. Just be careful and turn round if it’s bad!! Not worth a broken bone!!

Im to scared to ride on the snow and ice. Il stick to the turbo. But great to watch you enjoying the outdoors.
Turbo is a good shout if your not keen on snow and ice. Less kit to wash too 😂
Quick tip. Get some of those cheap toe warmers and put them in your shoes, over your socks on top of your toes. No cold toes any longer!
I have used them in the past and they are amazing!! Haven’t got round to ordering them again. But I now have some new winter boots! Yay

@@jennycycles I have a spare CX bike that I permanently leave Schwalbe (shwobble ...😉) Marathon winter spiked tyres on for that time of year. Great fun in ice and snow 😁👍

If you do get some pay a few quid more for the ones with (240)? the side spikes too.
Living in Scotland you'd probably get good use from them.

We just got about 30 cm of snow.
If it’s fresh snow, riding can be great fun! But make sure you have good tyres (you can even get snow tyres). It’s the ice that’s dangerous!!
@@jennycycles Hi Jenny underneath the snow is a sheet of ice. I'll need studded tyres. I've watched videos on places like Oulu Finland where people ride all winter.

Hav'nt been on my bike for 2 weeks, all that ice is just too scary, Walked thro woods near home yesterday, the ice/snow had thawed, refroze, it was so dodgy I could barely remain upright, not to wory its the mid winter solstice on the 21st.
Not worth risking a fall if you don’t feel comfortable with ice! Hopefully get less ice soon fingers crossed 🤞
