These movies honestly had so much potential. The effects are amazing (no pun intended) and the story they were trying to tell was there, it was just very poorly executed with some things either being off or missing. Not to mention they also had very talented actors
2 was where they messed up, if they introduced Harry without making him a Villain in the same movie and didn't shove so much mystery to the death of Peter's parents I think it would have been much more successful
10:08 man the sound design in this scene is awesome. Just hear how satisfying his footsteps and web shooter sound are. And 12:24 never fails to impress me
You gotta love the diversity of fighting styles and tactics for each Spider-Man in the films. Tobey's Spider-Man is very much a brawler in his fighting style. Mostly relying on his enhanced strength and durability to deliver powerful strikes and beat down his opponents. Andrew's Spider-Man is much more reliant on his webbing, using it as both a snare and a projectile to subdue his enemies. He also prefers quick kicks and jumps to strike as quickly as he can avoid. Tom's Spider-Man is much more wary during combat and prefers evading and outmaneuvering his opponent.
The web swinging and movement in these spiderman movies are fuckin amazing especially in the second one. I love all the actors that portray spiderman but I really love Andrew Garfield's version the most.
Damn I love the way Garfield's Spiderman moves. Tom Holland's Spiderman probably has chronic back pain with how dull and slow he is. They should rehire the guys who did the choreography for the TASM movies whilst keeping the same writers for Homecoming. That would be the most ideal for a Spiderman movie.
Totally agree with the choice of writers. Plot, characters and script all great in Homecoming. As for choice of Spider-man, I seem to be in the minority, I like Tom Holland's portrayal. He's really sarcastic and has more guts than brains at times and I find that entertaining. He's also the most believable as a high school student. Truth be told, though, I'm here for the web slinging/swinging.
I never noticed his little yelp at 9:18 until now and it's hilarious 😂. I can appreciate this Spiderman for his jokes, the occasional first person perspective shots, the badass suit from the first one, the fights between him and the lizard, and how his genius/cleverness is shown in scenes like that part where he makes a huge web motion-detector thing in the sewer and he's just chilling on it. Not to mention, my favorite scene where he rescues Jack is powerful- if only the rest of the film carried that same Tobey-rivaling weight of emotional impact. Still, Tobey's Spiderman 2 really captures Peter's character in a compelling way and can't get enough of it. Never would have thought Peter would actually tell Aunt May the truth about the night Uncle Ben was shot but it hit hard when he did. It was so nice to see the two of them again in No Way Home and how well their characters were handled, especially TASM's moment of closure that he gets- which I won't spoil.
@@randox124 Yeah. It would've been nice for this duology to have become a trilogy though. It's a shame the studio pulled a Spider-Man 3 and botched TASM2 by cramming too much into one film
The freaking agility, coordination that spider man has is pretty badass. He makes it look super easy and these films show it really well. Some cgi goes a little too far but most of it is pretty clean.
I like what this iteration of Spider-Man did with the POV camera swing. Definitely gives me a sense of what Spider-Man sees..how he’s not nauseated after swinging i don’t know
I love Andrew's choreography. It looks like he was very much trying to move around like an actual spider would where he keeps his arms and legs bent in a position where he's trying to minimize his body.
THIS Is Spider-Man being A HERO. Swinging through the city, helping people with tough situations, helping kids, stopping powerful villains, his funny quips and even seriousness. This movie literally did it all.
12:14 where Andrew knew he is out of web but needs a little bit more height to dodge the attack, He stretches his leg with force which provides him a little jumb to dodge. Man this movie nailed everybit of spiderman
@3:28 Does anyone want to talk how spider-ish the way Spiderman moves in this sequence where he tangles the Lizard with his webs together, resulting? It is most especially seen when he crawls around the Lizards body. Chef kiss~
Funny you say that since the creator of Spider-Man, the late but great Stan Lee, said after seeing Spider-Man: Homecoming he'd seen the absolute best and closest portrayal of Spider-Man from the comics to-date; both as Peter Parker and as Spider-Man. So I'll take the creator's opinion over yours. Sorry.

Man.. You spoke my heart out... DONNO WHY PEOPLE HATE HIM😔😭😭
Yeah man I feel soo bad for Andrew Garfield I loved him Soo much because of script it ruined and they also ruined a great animated show known as spectacular Spiderman for me 2002 to 2014 is the best Spiderman period
I love Andrew he is always my favorite Spider-Man
@WiredDragon7429 wrote a whole essay and i read it all I cant argue with that
THANK YOU!!
And 12:24 never fails to impress me
11:36 ever since someone pointed out how he climbs the webs as he swings, I’ve been obsessed with that fact
Cool, right? LOL
The music in TASM 2 is so much perfect 🔥🔥
Hans Zimmer
7:38 the coolest web swing ever.... This is it right here
The web swinging and movement in these spiderman movies are fuckin amazing especially in the second one. I love all the actors that portray spiderman but I really love Andrew Garfield's version the most.
7:15 god damn amazing💕😍
its not called: amazing spiderman: without any reason huh?
7:16 this shot is fire 🔥🔥🔥
That sound 💥💥
6:09 I love that he crawls like a literal spider
Also 3:38
Andrew is the most coolest spider-man ever!!!!! miss him and emma the nice couple at this period!!!!!
Idk why everyone hates on the amazing spider man series I think there the best movie adaptations of spider man
People thought that the first movie was good, but it was the second movie that triggered everyone.
Kartypartychallenge why?
cloudwolf100 I don’t know. I personally enjoyed it. Maybe it’s how they handled the villains.
🤣😂😂😂 ur joking right? Plz tell me u r 😬😐😑
Koko Kosplay That I enjoyed the movie?

Damn I love the way Garfield's Spiderman moves. Tom Holland's Spiderman probably has chronic back pain with how dull and slow he is. They should rehire the guys who did the choreography for the TASM movies whilst keeping the same writers for Homecoming. That would be the most ideal for a Spiderman movie.
Indeed Garfield's Spiderman moves really smooth and like a real spiderman should the way he webs the lizard in the school is soo perfect damn
They actually did for Far From Home!
Truth be told, though, I'm here for the web slinging/swinging.
far from home new trailer seems good with the spidey moves
Homecoming has horrible writing. They need the spiderman ps4 writers or just comic writers

@Wazer wait, I was an idiot
Let’s all be honest here, Tobey and Andrew are the real Spider-Men on 2 different earths
A very interesting idea that was dumped.
Some ppl don't know how to mae good movies these days.
@@lejohnavery4556 exactly
Are you happy now?
I really don’t like Tobeys spiderman
@@ceedayssonlol3057 I’m sorry you’re like 12
I never noticed his little yelp at 9:18 until now and it's hilarious 😂.
There are parts in this movie that look like a work of art fr
I love the way the web recoils when he swings in tasm movies looks real good gives a sense of realism
It may have been a bad story and bad writing in the amazing spiderman, but they gave us some awesome scenes.
Agreed.
Right? I'm a Raimi fan boy and man I did love this Spidey. If only the villains and writing was up to speed with the action and style.
@@randox124 Yeah. It would've been nice for this duology to have become a trilogy though. It's a shame the studio pulled a Spider-Man 3 and botched TASM2 by cramming too much into one film
The first movie was good but the second movie messed it all up. Still my favorite spiderman tho
Don't know what u are talking about the villian where cool and the music was amazing
11:17 THE HAT THO! :-D
Garfield is rockin the HELL out of Spiderman!! I LOVE IT!!!
3:36 Andrew Garfield actually looks like spider ,and cgi in this film is so awesome and stunning.
Noyhing can compare to what i felt while watching this 11:26 in IMAX it was like a video game so amazing
8:31 Damnnn
The freaking agility, coordination that spider man has is pretty badass. He makes it look super easy and these films show it really well. Some cgi goes a little too far but most of it is pretty clean.
9:31 look at his right hand.
It means A ok in general but it food it means fantastic
Dammit

@@kellysingh1022 it’s a joke 🤦♂️
I like what this iteration of Spider-Man did with the POV camera swing. Definitely gives me a sense of what Spider-Man sees..how he’s not nauseated after swinging i don’t know
7:04 Its so mesmerizing to look when he's swinging and passing on the narrow place
3:32 Jesus, look at him go. Really emphasized the "Spider" in Spiderman.
The CGI in tams movies is insane, so realistic
I love Andrew's choreography. It looks like he was very much trying to move around like an actual spider would where he keeps his arms and legs bent in a position where he's trying to minimize his body.
2:17 most spider-manny jump ever
3:55 they got this scene so perfect it’s so like Spider-Man to throw a toilet paper roll and a book at the the lizard.
xd
11:35 Andrew just flows so beautifully when swinging look
At him go!
Man this movie nailed everybit of spiderman
the swinging scenes. is just so beautiful.
The most realistic and effortless spiderman❤️
@3:28 Does anyone want to talk how spider-ish the way Spiderman moves in this sequence where he tangles the Lizard with his webs together, resulting?
It is most especially seen when he crawls around the Lizards body. Chef kiss~
I love how much he looks like a spider at 3:38. It always stood out to me as such a beautiful movement.
In the words of Tobey Maguire:
" You are amazing". ❤️❤️

Best Ironman wanna be=tom holland
Ehi facts
Funny you say that since the creator of Spider-Man, the late but great Stan Lee, said after seeing Spider-Man: Homecoming he'd seen the absolute best and closest portrayal of Spider-Man from the comics to-date; both as Peter Parker and as Spider-Man. So I'll take the creator's opinion over yours. Sorry.
Most overrated version= Tobey Maguire
6:17 the blink and miss it face on lizard when he looks back at spidey after getting webbed in the face 😂😂 man really said "🗿"
I love how when he is fighting in the clock tower he strategically puts webs around to use and help him fight
in my option, andrew has the the best swings out of all the spider-man’s.
10:19 that transition was amazing
10:21 makes me feel how powerful spidey is.
13:08 Me and my brother fighting over who will have the last donut
Andrew took Spiderman to a nxt level, with insane style and agility and skills which tom cannot even match
So true
I agree except Tom irl is extremely agile and I wish they paid that off more in the film's instead of CGI everything.
It was so good to see him again
In TASM1 5:03 7:11 and 3:54 is always memorable in my mind
In TASM2 10:35 9:36 11:17 11:51 11:37 and scene where peter try to save gwen is always will be memorable in my mind
You may not like Andrew’s movies, but you just can’t deny that these are the RAWEST Spider-Man action scenes ever
The shots in Tasm2 were amazing
My Spidey. These were such good times.
3:56 and the split second 3:57 always cracks me up when Spidey throws books at the Lizard's head as if that would do something to him 🤣🤣🤣 Also I just realized that TASM2 in fact mentioned the possibility of multitude of Spider People and even a Spider Woman...Into the SpiderVerse before it came out 😁
Andrew Spiderman swinging is Top notch. They even explained the swinging while pulling his body. The attention to detail they put on swinging was amazing.
After I die lord asks me my last wish:-
