What they didn't mention is how the changing demographics of Oakland have affected the set. The average working man can't afford to live here anymore, whether buying a home or even renting. So while some clubs might still meet up in Oakland, they're not riding around as much. You occasionally see the Dragons or the Goodfellas, but it's usually just one or two riders-not even a small group. I've been riding independently in Oakland 24/7 for the past 12 years, and it's a big change from what it used to be.
I ride as much as I can Go to as many eventz I can Look for lifer patches Walk up show respect And say “I’m chasing that patch” Then I shut up and just listen Jewelz be dropping
The story I got when I was there they came up from the south started working in-packing houses.Always had brand new Caddies, and Harley’s.The walls in the clubhouse has a lot of history. Check them out. They’re not hard to find.
The MC is supposed to be about freedom through protocol and tradition on the road and on the 2-Lanes. That isnt compatible with the Entitled generation coming up now. But thats ok. MCing has gone way too mainstream. Theres a lit of fat to trim.
This is what healthy dialog looks like from M.E.N.
As someone who's just getting into bikes.. this the type of info we missing.. especially being from NC

These subjects should be continued. There are a lot of answers to these questions!.

@@FHOHNIC I was trying to say if you're fortunate enough to get to some of these ogs that's still alive.
@@FHOHNIC back in those times they had a code of ethics they did not talk outside there's circle.
