OneUi comes with unlock transition effect on by default. Strange that yours was off.
Anyway, I just like the app closing animation of OneUi better. Only Pixel (stock) and OneUi are doing "different" app closing animation with a little 'bounce' effect at the end. The rest are following Apple with overall smooth landing. Good for them. But I just like the other ones better.

Also i done know why no one is talking about shooting hdr video option for oneplus. I didnt found any option to shoot hdr videos in oneplus flagship device and also most annoying issue is hdr video playback. Yes it has hdr support on prime video and netflix but when you play video it will show a normal brightness and very much darker videos.

One UI also has unlock animation which is toggled off by default you have to go to the settings and enable screen unlock animation. And then you will have it. You will get it under biometrics settings

Just tap and hold on the home screen then you will see a + sign on the left side corner click on that and you are good to go for album ,weather etc.

They just slow animation speed
You can get more smooth by slow animation because CPU have enough time for processing apps

Good lock really adds all those things that you just highlighted and more ,also think ui animations are cleaner on samsung in my opinion.

@user-xj1sm9hr2k the reason we choose samsung is the plethora of options to tailor your phone according to your liking.Good lock is a samsung extension and not a third party app.I came from oneplus 8 before the s24ultra, it was a good phone but really kind of boring for me, I didn't enjoy oxygen Os, again my personal opinion.
I really don't understand samsung used have long animation before and people always shit talk them and said it's slower then reduced it now they again comparing 🤷

When you switch from one app to another and go back ,The app is not responsive for a moment when it is switched.
