    I finally subscribed to your channel after watching it for a while. I don't normally do things like this but I just felt I really wanted to! You are so talented in so many different medias that I like and now this Pebeo Paint that really peaks my interest that I just had too! I have been learning how to do the jewelry/wire and love it! You are such a good teacher that it make it easier to learn! Thanks so much for doing such a great job! I really loved the white background and blackish silver on top! That was my favorite one.

    Hi Yvonne, I love these Pebeo Paints, especially the Prisme ones. They give such a cool 'honeycomb' or 'cellular' effect. I find that the Prisme paints work best in bezels because, when I tried dripping it on some old polymer clay pieces I had (which I didn't like the look of!!) I found that the paint dripped off the sides, so you need a bezel to contain it. Thanks for another great video sweetie. Love from Amanda in Australia ❤️ xox

    I purchased the Prisme Fantasy discovery set. This product makes incredible backgrounds. I add organics and then a layer of coming resin. Glitter added to wet Prisme adds a bit of sparkle. This will make great starter inventory for my shop. Please do a tutorial on how you combine this with Polymer clay.

    I love this medium. I use it all the time as a background in pendents etc... or to highlight other pieces of pewter/metal trinkets. Its also fun to use on a journal cover as the base.

    They all look nice. I agree with you about the opaque red taking over. At first there was some pretty yellow in there but it got swallowed up. Good call putting more in after it dried a bit.

    They are nice.... you seem to be knowledgeable on the pebeo.. have you used them to paint on glass... i would like to use these to paint wine bottles ...is it possible?...i know they look runny but is there a way to paint horizontally without the product that outlines the paint.

    I'm late to the party, obviously, but if you happen to see this Yvonne, how long should I wait before adding gems, charms, etc? Do I wait until the paint dries completely, or would you try at like 24/48 hours?

    What is the "pim" or "pem" coating you spoke of for coating the backs of your bezels to block metal allergies? Is it polymer inclusion like Sculpey Glaze or something similar?

    I really enjoyed this video. Love all Pebeo paints but the fantasy range has to be my favourite. I have ordered some pendant trays to make jewellery to sell if I can part with them 😆. Your clay wings are gorgeous, did you apply the paint with a skewer ? Did you use Diamond glaze to finish them off ? I have become a subscriber, I love your style and look forward watching your other videos. Many thanks xx

    Beautiful paints and great ideas and can’t wait to try these.
    I have a question related to the glazes/resin. I have some bismuth crystals and pearl white abalone shells I would like to used in pendants but both are brittle. I need a coating to make them stronger, that will not peel, and allows their pretty colors to come thru. What would you suggest?

    • @Rendosian
      @Rendosian 7 років тому +1

      tricia19632004 Hi! Bismuth is stronger than you think, just FYI. But the best thing to use, IMO, would be resin. There are a couple kinds to use. There is the two part and UV resin.
      Two-Part: Best I have found is Easy Cast. You have to measure or weigh the parts out equally, but it’s very forgiving. Just follow the instructions. It’s cheap, but takes 24 hours to cure.
      Best place to get it is Munro Crafts.com they have price breaks at various levels. If you spend $200.00, they knock 50% off your order, dropping it down to $100.00 and then 50% off the rest of your order. They also have one Tuesday of the month where you spend $50.00 and they knock it down to 50% off, etc.
      UV: Is a 1 part resin that cures in seconds when exposed to the sun or a UV light. Problem is it can run kinda high. If you need it immediately, Sophie & Tophie.com carries it, but again, pricey. If you have the time, Wish.com has it and it’s super cheap. But it comes direct from China, so it will take up to a month to arrive.
      I know this was a lot, but I like to be though. 😄

      Thank you Jacob. That is very helpful. I don’t mind waiting to save money. I ordered a few 5D diamond paintings from wish. Not too bad of a wait. Less than with AliExpress.
      I was thinking about the UV stuff already for making some steam punk cabochons. Still mulling it over.

      tricia19632004 You’re quite welcome! Wish is amazing, esp for silicon molds, etc. I also order a good bit of gems and crystals from them with good results. As far as UV resin, it’s my first choice simply for the quickness of it.

    Hi! Just found you! :)
    I watched your video on the wire wrapped polymer clay cabachon. I was wondering how you did a domed cab with the Pebeo without a tray or bezel? Did you use a flexible mold? Thanks!

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  6 років тому

      Hey! I did those cabs with a different paint: the halo paints by lumiere. though I would like to experiment with pebeo on flat cabs, just to see! I think I would have to have some sort of edging, though.

    • @coltonbobbyleggsmcgee4116
      @coltonbobbyleggsmcgee4116 6 років тому

      Yvonne Williams I’ve done the Pebeo in the trays as well and what I didn’t like to much was how they kind of sunk in the middle. They were not level with the top. Maybe I just didn’t use enough paint. That’s why I loved how you did those pendants domed like that :)

    oh my god why don't you start a series where you challenge yourself to make a piece with random things that you get sent or have lying around and then sell what you manage to create on your etsy. you could get your subs to give you ideas for items to use (interaction) it would be entertaining (growing your youtube and diversifying) and you'd make money on the final peice. just an idea!

    Cool idea
    Not on topic
    Imbali wire craft
    Make a 4 wire base
    Stacked points with one wrap between each set of points
    No smooshing
    Pull out top two or three wires
    Tap them down
    Not so instant gallery wire for setting stones!!!

    Don't know how much that paint costs but you can do the exact same thing with cheap craft acrylic paint doing a dirty pour on a silicone baking sheet or the white paper that you buy at the market to put in a baking pan. It is called a "skin" and you can find tons of examples on youtube. You would end up with a whole sheet of skin that you could cut to size. If you want cells, add some silicone from the 99 cent store. You would have to gently remove the silicone after it dries using acetone, soap and water or alcohol on a qtip. Be careful if you use alcohol because it dissolves acrylic paint.

      Hey, Maz; did you know youtube has an option where you can speed up the videos yourself when viewing? www.wikihow.com/Speed-Up-UA-cam-Videos For an experienced artist, a lot of the slower drawn out videos can be mind numbing, but for a beginner there may be something in there that really helps them along in what they are doing.

      Yvonne Williams i agree, an i won't even lie, just because im seasoned, DOES NOT mean I know it all. Hence why I was watching the video to begin with. AN I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SPEED UP!!! HOLY HE'LL IS THAT A GOOD IDEA!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!! I'M CHECKINout that link now.
