You should do "teens react to kpop songs from 1900s" or 2000s
@@JENNIE_YOU_ME_ aint no way there was k pop during ww1
@@mygjhj kpop has been around since 1992
you should do this but with ksi songs
Hey React, we already told you in last video to remove Angel, she is obnoxious, offensive to her mates and disrespectful towards songs and to us all, when are you going to implement this? I stopped watching you last time when you had her on and then came back by accident
Gen Z literally grew up with 2000’s pop music. It was played nonstop on the radios and parties. If you went outside you knew these songs.
They're talking about teenage zoomers. Who are all born 2003+ that can barely remember the 2000s
@@fuosdi64 yes that’s what I mean. I was born 2003. We grew up with all these songs.
@@fan7708 How did you grow up with songs that came out in 2005 if you were born in 2003. You can barely even remember the decade lol
@@fuosdi64 Just because they came out in 2005 doesn’t mean they still weren’t played after 2005. Those songs like I said practically dominated parties and the radio years after there release.
@@fan7708 It doesn't matter. Those aren't YOUR generations songs because they weren't songs that you grew up WITH. you just happened to listen to them when they were older... Just like how someone who's a kid now can't claim something that happened 10 years ago because they listen to it.
We’ve gotten to a point where Tom Holland is known for Umbrella more than Rihanna, the actual singer of the song.
That's what Riri gets for going into hiding for 5 years 🤷♂
And alpha cat whatchu say is my only one I remember and not Jason d which is the original.poor artist
I completely agree. I knew all the songs and honestly didn’t even know Tom Holland did a version of her song 😳 guess it makes sense since I’m a millennial 😅😒
@@gargoylas technically he didn't exactly sang it. It was on Lip Sync Battle and he danced to it.
@@dakid40777 I love Hide and Seek so much! And I’m sad not many people know that it was the original 🥲
How'd it take them so long for "You Belong With Me" and "The Real Slim Shady"
I'm gonna give it to them with "The Real Slim Shady", because most guessed just "Slim Shady" and when they were told they were wrong, just started panicking and trying the most random lyrics out there because they thought "Slim Shady" wasn't part of the title
@@prettyfly969 Yea that's true
Because they’re toddlers. 🙄
@@alisongunther6486 I am also a gen z though and I got it in the first few seconds
As a Gen Z-er I’ve never been SO mad at my own generation😭
THIS
FRR
RIGHTTT , I was like “y’all don’t atleast know Taylor ? Eminem????
Frrrrr
the amount of eye roll i made. thank God for Jayka and Jayka’s parents for raising her with good music.
Not sure how old she is but most older gen z‘s grew up with these songs
Jayka knew so many of the answers but Jillian kept stopping her and pretending like she knew only to get it wrong.
Now it would be great one with Gen Z reacts to 2000s rock songs (Green day, Linkin Park, RHCP, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, etc)
Omg yes. I listen to all of these and I'm a Gen Z. I even saw Green day and My chemical romance live last year
An epic era of rock music! late 90s early 2000s
@@WretchedDrummer so true. Also mid 2000s. It brought a lot of iconic rock songs
" Black bandana sweet Louisiana..
RHCP DANI CALIFORNIA"
✔️
YES YES
As soon as I heard “may-“ I was like “THE REAL SLIM SHADYYY”
I didn’t think I was old at 22, but as an older gen z person, I don’t claim this energy 😭🤚🏾
Def old
Same here! 02 baby
I'm 21 and this is painful as well
I was born in 2000 and I honestly don't identify with this generation
Nelly Furtado is terribly underrated.
SHE ABSOLUELY IS!!! I had "Turn Off The Light" on indefinite repeat when this came out the same year 🙌
True
Dani’s reaction to accidentally getting Stacy’s Mom right made my day 😂
lol You mean that guy on the left?
insufferable
Or at least in those reaction videos.
Hope he's not like this in reality.
Angel just made an excuse she doesn't like I'm Like A Bird by Nelly Furtado because she lost. LOL
HOW DID THEY NOT GET UMBRELLA FASTER!!!???
The way Angel was disturbed by the BEAUTIFUL NELLY FURTADO 😩 like what?!!? I’m like a bird is such a pretty song
Right. Nelly is so good.
I know right! I was like whaaaat.
Great song for sure… she has other ones that were better but def a great song.
Biggest issue I had with her was she didn't even hear the song long enough to have an opinion before she blurted out she hated.
She needs to listen to All Good Things. That is my favorite song by her. So beautiful.
When she thought that Stacy's mom was a song by Hannah Montana I lost it. That was so funny!
I was dying now I really feel old and I'm 26
@@facethebass LMAO imagine how I feel. I’m 35.
It's a crime to not include one of Akon song in the list 🤣 He was super popular back then around the world.
Smack that!!
As a Gen Z person, most of us DO in fact know these songs.
Fr why are they so bad?😭
I’m a 2000s kid and these songs were my CHILDHOOD
THE WHOLE THING PHYSICALLY PAINS ME AS A 1998 Gen z 😭😭😭 how did they not know any of these titles immediately lmfao
as someone who was also born in 2000, and is considered gen z....im concerned with how many of these they either didnt know or just randomly guessed until they figured it out
The fact that I still listen to most of these songs daily. Man 00’s music really just hit different 😩
Yeah… there really needs to be a separate category for 1998-2003 babies because I know all of these
no because why am i being grouped in with teenagers who weren’t even alive/were actual toddlers when these songs came out 😭 i love younger gen z don’t get me wrong, but we are nottt the same
literally because older genz and younger genz are clearly gonna grow up with different things, same as every other age group
Fr 😃
Idk.. my friend was born in 03 and she already feels a gap between us. meanwhile, my other friend is 4 years older and we know each other's pop culture references (except for meteor garden and other taiwanese stuff)
True!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 1998 baby here 🤣🤣🤣
Me being a millenial knowing all these songs and thinking “that was not that long ago” and then immediately realizing “yes, it was” 🥲
17:50 "what comes after the chorus?" "THE VERSE!"
“what comes after the chorus? what does he say?” “THE VERSE” jdbfkwbfjdbfkdbwn im crying
- What comes after the chorus?
-THE VERSE
😂
HAHAHAHA
She's not wrong
right off the bat how did they not recognize a taylor swift song?!
How did they not recognize whatcha say
Fr 😔
Born in 1993 and I’ve never felt OLDER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE 😂. I haven’t laughed this hard in forever. Thank you!!
Same and the funny thing is some of the gen zers look older than us😂
Every time I hear Stacy’s Mom I think of something someone said years ago: What if Stacy’s Mom was Jesse’s Girl
2000 gen z kid here. each time they couldn’t guess a song I got so upset. THESE R THE MOST PLAYED SONGS ON THE RADIO EVER. how can u not know them. I’m embarrassed to be grouped w them I cantttt
Thanks so much for recognizing Imogen Heap in the Jason song. I knew that part from her first and always get so upset that people even barely know or recognize Imogen. She's amazing!
Me too!!
Imagine not being able to recognize Umbrella on the first second
It sounded a lot like New York by Alicia Keys.

HIDE AND SEEK IS ALSO AN ICONIC 2000s SONG GIVE THE ORIGINAL SOME RESPECT
Them not knowing The first song alone makes me feel like I’m ancient and I’m 24
IM 19 AND THEM NOT KNOWING IT MADE ME FEEL OLD 😭
Every one should know that one song, I'm about 18, it's not about age, they just don't listen to Taylor 's old songs.
The way that they all regognize bad romance immediately, gaga,s influence is incredible, she is an icon
I just came to see that hahaha. Gaga is the ultimate queeb
I didnt recognize it, im not a fan of lady gaga's songs. Though i admit she has a great voice.
It was actually painful listening to some of their guesses 😭
As a Gen Z we don’t claim them 😭
yup
As a fellow Gen Z, I agree 100%
No way you can't recognize Rihanna Umbrella. Good old times
I laughed when that one kid started singing Crazy in Love
I am SHOCKED that a few of them didn't recognize Umbrella on the first second. It's like more than iconic. T_T But tbh I didn't recognize some of the other tracks until they played more seconds or they showed a clue. xD And I didn't expect them to get I'm Like A Bird (Nelly Furtado has other songs that have been more popular in the recent years), but it was such a cute choice to end the episode.
Yeah, umbrella was the easiest one for me. Second was Stacy's mom, which surprised me.
That hit on the high hat is literally iconic!
@@matthewhenry6515 I had a feeling most of em wouldn't know the Rock songs
Yeah, that song was HUGE for like a complete year. I even remember the Chris Brown remix lol. Idk how the opening wasn't instantly recognizable to them, but it makes me feel old!
This video stressed me out 🫠 I was yelling like it’s THIS SONG 😂
The second i heard the first two notes of the Eminem song i was yelling at them all THE REAL SLIM SHADY!!!!!!
I have a love/hate relationship with these videos. Makes me realize how young these kids are and I'm only 32. Not surprised the majority didn't know about Stacy's Mom lol
How tf would Gen Z not know 2000s songs.. that’s literally when we were growing up 😂
more like born then growing up cause most of Gen Z grew up mainly or only in the 10s not 00s.
I need to know how old these people are bc I am gen z ('04) and knew every one from the first hint. I've never been more disappointed in my generation I gotta go thank my momma now
The way my jaw dropped when no one got umbrella immediately other than one. THAT was a painful time lolol.
Eminem owning a Spaghetti restaurant is the funniest information I heard this year so far 😂
Whats the name of his resto? MOM'S SPAGHETTI?
@@theReniWatanijotMe I just checked and IT ACTUALLY IS 😂
not recognizing Nelly Furtado's voice is a crime she has one of the most unique voices of all time at least for me .
STRAIGHT to prison for all of them! 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
It was ok if they didn't know but to straight up take their headphones off and say they do not like the song was blasphemy.
POV me crawling out of my skin every time they can’t get it on the first clue
The way I got You Belong With Me in 0.5 seconds
The disrespect when she took off her headphones for Nelly Furtado
lol hate to be negative on these things but I wouldn’t have been friends with any of these kids growing up😅 Love the content though
Agreed. I'm normally not glad when someone loses, but this was the rare exception lol
Everyone knew Lady Gaga. ICONIC.
They better know Mother Monster. 😆
As a teen of the 00s I'm so disappointed that the majority were 2007-09, that's a whole diff era, needed some more random mid 00s tracks like Stuck and Leave (Get Out)! I knew Stacey's Mom immediately of course 😂
Do people forget that the oldest gen z people are literally 26 now? Of course we know 2000s music we grow up with it
I got second hand embarrassment by them not knowing it
EXACTLY IM SCREAMING IT AND THEY BOT GETTING IT
It was painful
Same and I’m younger than them lmao
@@MxSae Fr tho, im em ba rassed
I’m Gen Z but I know all these songs 😭 they’re in my Spotify playlist
you guys need me on this gen z cast. I won this shit
Me just calmly saying the song before the first few second clip finishes, while they're freaking tf out ..
This channel exists to piss us 90s babies off
I'm gen z and still got all of these right within the first second. How on earth did these people not get the songs so quickly I'm so confused?
Not everyone can figure out a song from a 1sec sound bite
This was the first guess that song challenge that I knew the answer from moment the melody played. The song selection had the most distinctive opening melodies.
I’m curious how old they all are because I’m 19 and I’m EMBARRASSED 😭 I love them all but y’allllll these were iconic
The fact that almost no one instantly knew umbrella is a TRAVESTY!
The way Lady Gaga has two of the biggest and most recognizable POP songs of ALL TIME; Poker Face and Bad Romance.
Even little kids these days know the song.
15:10 "I love FOB"
*Proceeds to fail the most famous title song of FOB
HOW DO THEY NOT KNOW UMBRELLA FROM THAT FIRST SOUND ALONE 😂
*_It's so easy, I guessed it right away._*
Fr it was the easiest one 😭😭
bruh I'm gen z and guessed them all at first sound they played like what's up with all of these bro???
This video is just for fun guys. Younger people not knowing songs shouldn't be taken so personally.
On the bright side, it's nice how people can discover/remember songs they missed out on!
finally someone sensible
It is so weird as an adult to watch people younger than me struggle w my childhood stapes 😂
what comes after the chorus.....*hits button* THE VERSE!!!!!
The Nelly Furtado disrespect broke my Canadian heart.
The react channel needs to rename this as teens and not Gen Z… Gen Z starts in 1997 (turning 26 this year) and we literally grew up with this music too. I remember majority of these being released.
not even that either, most teens today are 2000s kids. the title should include the word “Remember” instead. and change the gen z part too. idk to what tho
@@nyambura7698 yeah either “do teens remember these songs” or “does gen alpha know these songs” lol
@@nyambura7698 No most teens today are 2000s babies. I was a 90s baby but a 2000s kid. I grew up listening to this music when it first came out these teens did not.
As a 90s kid. I’m so glad these songs are still known. Once they’re forgotten I’m officially old 🫠
This has to be the toughest watch of any react video I have ever seen lol.
I'm with you. I got Fallout Boy wrong! Though to be fair, the intro to Sugar, We're Going Down is practically identical to Creed's My Sacrifice when the rock part kicks in after the first 10-20 seconds of the song. Of course Creed was 90s though... but still.
as a gen zer, i knew every single one of these just from the first few notes.
"Taylor Swift's Country Era" made me sob.
Pete the lead singer…. BAHAHA WHAT UNIVERSE WE IN
80% of those songs were in my playlist hahaha I didn't even need the clues, with just those seconds I knew them (now I feel old)
I'm sorry, but I got so annoyed when Angel got so bothered by Nelly Furtado's song lol.
Me to, typical gen Z'er.... Got upset she lost the tye breaker so beautiful Nelly Furtado had to pay for it.
it’s called an opinion grow up
fr, Angel acts like anything she doesn't like is a hate crime, like chill, hun, chill 🤣

The drum kit is so Iconic how do you not get Umbrella???
Angel really got on my nerves on this video but all these songs brought so many memories ☺️
Your gen z videos make me wish I wasn’t gen z. I don’t understand how these people are older than me but can never guess anything right 💀
istg😭
Majority of them guess the songs right. 🤦♂ Man you're dumb.
@@maplenerd22 yes I know that, I wasn’t talking about this video. Read my comment again. I was talking about their gen z videos in general, because they never seem to guess anything right and are very hateful towards anything they don’t know. They actually did pretty good this video which surprised me
you know your in your mid-twenties when you got all of those from the first clue lol
Exactly
I'm 35
Saw Missy in the thumbnail and went Hell yeah!🙌
The 2000s were bangers. My middle school and high school years were the best because of these. ^^
I got them all right away and It pained me to see them all struggle on some songs cause I thought they were all songs everyone knew really well, I was deeply mistaken. 😅😢
only means you got good taste
I now understand 90s kid’s frustration
Everybody please remember not all gen z is like this 😭
Especially us born in the 90's lol
Jillian, Jillian, Jillian, no no no, Stacys mom is not controversial, its just a masterpeice

I actually watched the entire video, which used to be normal for me, but hasn't been the case in a long time. I'd still prefer the one-second-at-a-time format up to 10 seconds, but I'll take what I can get at this point.
How long it took them to get the real slim shady hurt me 😭
love how they think of tom holland for umbrella lmao 😭😭😭
their screams are hilarious 😂😂
them guessing nelly furtado lmao i’m cracking up watching them 😂
When you know it's "Stacy's Mom" from the first second ...
"You Belong with Me" was not Taylor Swift's country era. Her country era was "Teardrops on my Guitar" and "Picture to Burn"
Lol literally as soon as she said it I said “actually this is the very end of Taylor’s country era” 😂😭
She still released 2 “country albums” after this tho.
it's country pop either way
I felt so old when they didn't guess Umbrella immediately 😂
Them not getting umbrella killed me more than missing eminem.
Justice for Nelly Furtado
It would be interesting to see how many of them would recognize Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" from 2003. Johnny Cash was someone who was well known to fans of all genres of music and "Hurt" was a cover of a Rock song by NiN, so he gained even more fans through that cover.
wait, johnny cash WASN’T the original singer of hurt??? nine inch nails was the original??? i didn’t know that lmao 😭😭
I don't think they know that kind if music. That song is very deep something they alsow might not understand 😅
The fact you agreed her when she said that Pete was the lead singer 😭😂. Patrick it’s Patrick.
