I was married for 41 years and he loved loud TV. He died just before Christmas in 2021. Yes, he was boring and slow to keep up with home repairs, but I miss him.

I'm so with you. My hubby left me and this world in 2018. That tv blasting used to irk my soul, and he wore this hat all the time that I simply couldn't stand. Oh, to have him here with me, he could wear that ugly hat every day and blast the tv all he wants, and I would just smile like I do now at the memory of all the fuss.

Y’all get things like faithfulness, commitment, comfort, and dedication confused with boredom. One day y’all will learn that everything and every moment in life doesn’t need to be filled with over the top excitement. Especially with someone you have been with for 3 decades. You gotta be realistic. Most of our day to day lives are routine and mundane to a degree. Real men know that the best place they can be is in the house with the family they chose/created. In fact, it is the men (not males) that love this dynamic the most. Love provides a safety net, and a comfort zone that naturally settles you down.
