Very impressive and organized. With only 2 of us, I can only rotate through so much food. In January and February I am concentrating on frozen meats and meals before a restock..
There’s generally only 2 of us but on any given day there can be upto 7+. On the days I keep my littlest granddaughter there’s generally at least 5 of us and sometimes there’s 7, depends on if my oldest 2 grandkids are with their dad and my daughter.
So excited to hear someone talking about places we go to multiple times a year. I live about an hour from Sugarcreek. Totally agree with you. Great area. Such a nice drive. Great video. Let the challenge begin.
Oh an hour I’d be there once a month opposed to a couple times a year! I love love that area. I’m going to attend a woman’s conference there at Lehman’s in June (I believe that’s when it is).
Did I miss your canned meats shelf? I have Spam & Keystone meats mostly. I also have canned meats of almost every variety. I haven’t worked up the courage to do my own canning yet. But I have tons of dehydrated veggies. Do you ever vacuum seal your meats in the freezer? You’re stocked up like I am. Floor to ceiling folks!!!
Not sure if you missed it or not…I have home canned and store bought canned meats (tuna, chicken, beef products, sausage, etc.) Yes I do vacuum seal items for my deep freezer…mainly meets. I love staying stocked up. Happy New Year 🎊
Happy holidays based on what you just showed I feel like. You could go way past February. You have a lot of food and that's truly a blessing. Yeah I believe you could go past february even probably into march.
Last time I allowed myself $50/month for fresh produce. I ended up with some money leftover. My goal for this challenge is mostly to make room in the freezer.
Yes my freezer in the house definitely needs room…it’s full to the brim, I like to think that the milk crates and other bins takes up most of the space 🤪. Happy New Years Eve.
Happy holidays! I really like Jessica over at 3 Rivers. She’s pretty amazing! Speaking of amazing, how about your pantry(s)! I really just got started last year with being more intentional about stocking up and prepping. I have done pretty good, but don’t think I am quite ready for the challenge. I could easily do a month, maybe 2 but I lack enough variety to keep from getting food fatigue. I noticed your stash of gluten free stuff and I would be very interested to see what recipes you might share. I have to eat both gluten and lactose free since being diagnosed about 2 years ago. It’s a daily challenge for me to try and build a pantry AND re-learn how to cook lol. Anyway, I’m enjoying your content and looking forward to seeing more. Also, I’m a WV girl too, so hey neighbor! ❤
Hey neighbor! I definitely will be showing some gluten free recipes over the next year along with some keto recipes as well. I really started stocking up after the pandemic in 2020. I really started gardening last year. We added 6 raised garden beds and the plan this year is to add more raised beds to our garden. I’ve been a type 2 diabetic for over 20 years now. It’s taken me this long to decide I want to do everything in my power to get off the medications. So I’m going the gluten free route along with some keto ways. By the way this will be my official time participating in the challenge. I love Jessica as well.
If you're allowed chickens in your area get a couple they are one of the easiest to deal with. Then you'd have your own eggs and meat birds, were also doing challenge.
I’ve been trying to talk the hubs into it. He says too many critters would stay after them. Our neighbor has chickens and cows. So I’m hoping come spring I’ll have him talked into chickens. 🐓
When I bought it , it was sold in 30# bucket and I paid less than $70 for it. Now they sell it in 50# bucket and it’s more than doubled in price! It’s from Azure Standard and it’s called Azure Clean Whishing dishwasher powder and it’s right at $160! Which is crazy.
You are very well stocked, nice and organized. ❤

Love the clip idea for the pouches of tuna and things like that
I am impressed!
I Love how organized your pantries are. Inspirational. Thanks for sharing this video lots of good information.
Happy New Years Everyone!❤
Thank you. It’s been a struggle keeping it organized…hubby always says he can’t find anything 😊 Happy New Year 🎆
I'm going to participate this year, too. I've kind of semi-participated in the past, but really going to push myself this year ❤
In the last couple of years I always told myself I would participate but never actually did. But this year I’m going to make myself stick to it!

We will reevaluate at the end of each month to see how low we’re getting on certain things. I may try to go into march also. Happy Holidays

Wow. You definitely will survive any apocalyptic event. Im jealous!
It’s taken 3 years to get to this point. I’m just now at the stage where I feel comfortable doing the pantry challenge ❤️
Way more organized than I
Wow very impressive. I am going to try to do the challenge also. Good luck to you. I subscribed.
Thank you 😊
