There is a really cool variant which also includes storm giants, only reason I won with my Warlock was because I burned their remaining storm giant and forge elemental.
I do like this set, but it does give me traumatic flashbacks to "Our homes ourOur homesOur homesOur homes our tombOur homes Our hoOur homes our tombs!"
Yeah, it's absolutely an example of how a meta that sounds good on paper almost immediately falls apart in practice. I've seen decks that can use the meta well, but they rely on cards that synergize to put as many plagues as possible into the opponent's deck; stuff like elekk, and cards to generate cards that generate plague. I run a curse warlock deck primarily, and just to have a 1-cost card that can bank some damage, I include Agony curses into it; but I don't count on more than one or two triggering in a match. I keep it in the deck for two reasons: it's cheap, and if my opponent is running a draw-heavy deck, like tony druid, they're guaranteed to draw them all, which has won me matches.
I swear. You can put 30 plagues in their deck and they will draw 2. It’s insane. I bet everything that it’s bugged. I don’t understand how you never draw them. I wanted this deck to be good but it’s so bad
@@GozoFoolish I'm not sure if it's bugged per se; more like the actual mechanics of how cards are 'shuffled' into a deck, and what conditions will cause the deck to 'reshuffle' itself aren't made clear to the players, because it's not obvious. I've heard that under certain circumstances, a deck can shuffle with no sign whatsoever, so whereas under IRL conditions it'd simply be a matter of time before they came up, so long as you've got non-plague cards in your deck, you could theoretically keep reshuffling out of them forever.
@@LabTech41 yeah since hearthstone is a game and not IRL I’ve always been skeptical how the draws and shuffles go. like it may be RNG but it could be throttled or know what card you need and give it to you
@@GozoFoolish The problem is that given the age of the game, the amount of spaghetti code there must be in the game by now, how Blizz is notorious for having inconsistent mechanics, and just the sheer amount of random effects that the game now routinely has, everything might technically work, but who even knows what's going on in that deck behind the scenes? Ideally, you wouldn't just have cards that are meant to multiply the plagues that go in, but also have limited mill to make sure the opponent is drawing the cards faster, but DK isn't a class that's really got much mill ability past the neutrals.
I've played against this deck a couple of times. Never lost a match... Glad to see it can be good in the right hands.

This deck's bs on a highroll. I had all the removal and it still wasn't enough because they had an automaton or two to play every turn.
Druid durdled a bit close to the sun
I AM MALGANIS
I AM A DURDLE

Our tombs are as infinite as the stars
Our tombs shall blot out the sun!
This was a great showcase of why not to play Plague DK, keep em coming!

That might have been the worst scourge I've ever seen
What a great way to start the day ☺️
I'd swap the dispossessed soul agains illuminate. It can bring insane tempo in astral priest.
how i wish i can make multiple decks.
I just discovered the Astro Automaton after my Opponent kicked my ass with them, so I decided to make a deck with them. LOVE THEM!
You shuffle fourteen plagues, and what do you think?
Another game older and lower in rank
I owe my soul to the deck's skill floor~ (slow music plays)
Plague DK is a deck that definitely can climb ladder, but I have no clue *how*, especially when I'm using it.
classic druid solo gaming, didn't get rng on that one
I knew it was the time for the upload.
Could have grabbed Creation Protocol at 10:47 so that you could get Ignis online. Wouldn't that work as a lethal out the following turn?
BTW, huge fan. Been following you since days of old with MTG and all that! :)
N1
Why even have the first game lol, trhe opponent didnt do anything
