Aha, the Dr Who angel, I remember them well....they freaked me out! Great painting. I loved the first one too. You’re a very talented water colour artist. 🙏🏻🌻🌻🌻
Hi. It's watercolours on watercolour paper stretched on a board using a sealing tape. Paints were from Winsor & Newton Cotman series, in tubes. It was mostly prussian blue, ultramarine blue and very little red mixed in for the background for example. Hope that helps :)
I really loved the first painting. And the second one is great too, except it doesn't seem to match the beautiful serenity of the first angel. I think Patty Shaw is correct. #2 needs it's own separate video. Thank you for posting this!
I don't know if you will see my comment, I see this was posted years ago. But I was wondering what kind of paper did you use that lets your watercolors dry lighter like that and lets you add so many layers? Also, the colors were fantastic. Do you recall all these years later what colors you used?
Hi. Thank you for your comment. I can't remember the brand of paper but it was a quite heavy/thick and coarse/porous watercolor paper, sold in sheets but, to my knowledge, watercolors always dry a little lighter. It may be more apparent to you when you watch a video, which is slightly sped up, and actually see it dry. I'm sure I've used ultramarine blue and i think the other was cerulean blue from tubes. Hope that helps
Question: if an image of an angel becomes itself an angel, does that mean when you make one through art, does it become an angel, or is it just a regular image/statue!
Loved the first painting! I though would of put the head up with the arms extended praising God! No need to weep except for knowledge of souls rejecting Jesus! The second one was good too with all the details but... looks like something you would see in a scary movie but again the details were good.

Yeah, they were terrifying. Thank you 🙂
I’ve been searching for an angel to replicate in watercolor and now I’ve found the perfect one. I love your work.
Glad to hear that 😁😁😁 thanks ❤️

Thank you for kind words. It probably would be in a separate video if the theme wasn't from 'Dr. Who'
✨✨✨

Your second picture was disturbing.. That must be the falling angel, Satan

julianarwen Ohh shi**. I better burn it!!! :D
The first one was lovely too bad you didn't leave it at that. Put the 2nd thing on a separate video, I did not enjoy that at all.
Patty Shaw thank you. Yes, I know. It's specifically for Doctor Who fans really
I agree... the second one was awful, your painting is superb but the image wasn’t
