Personally as a pastor, I do not preach politics in the pulpit. I preach Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Voting is a right in our country that exists because of those that sacrificed to secure it. I would never tell someone whom to vote for, or not to vote. I preach what’s right and what’s wrong according to the scripture. People have to choose whether they will follow it or not.

I am a long-time Christian. This bringing Christianity into politics is a terrible idea. Our founding fathers and those who died in the war for independence very wisely established our government with a SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. As a Christian I don’t want a “Christian government” here on earth unless it is put in after the Second Coming of Jesus. Personally as a pastor, I do not preach politics in the pulpit. I preach Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Voting is a right in our country that exists because of those that sacrificed to secure it. I would never tell someone whom to vote for, or not to vote. I preach what’s right and what’s wrong according to the scripture. People have to choose whether they will follow it or not.
It’s obvious that democrats platform is pro-abortion, anti-traditional marriage only, and many other issues. I would be worried about what God thinks if I didn’t declare God’s word concerning life before birth and marriage. After all, we all must appear before the judgement seat of Christ.
As a pastor you should reminding your church LGBT and abortion are very important issues when voting.

I am a long-time Christian. This bringing Christianity into politics is a terrible idea. Our founding fathers and those who died in the war for independence very wisely established our government with a SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. As a Christian I don’t want a “Christian government” here on earth unless it is put in after the Second Coming of Jesus. I simply hope for a person of good character, who will defend the Constitution and do their best to make the U.S. as strong and free as possible, and do right by all the people. It doesn’t even matter whether it is a Republican or a Democrat. basic “Family Values” are important because the family is the building block for a healthy strong society. We need God’s help and guidance, not some man who could not solve the problems even if he wanted to. We are to the point of needing God to solve our problems, because they are too big for us.
The “Separation” was to keep Politics out of the Church…. not the Church out of Politics. Jesus said to be salt and light….and that means bringing HIM into every facet of our life and Society.

there are plenty of examples in the Bible of How God choose people who were not perfect but those people did work, that helped Humanity and restored order on the planet.
For Example: King David was not great perfect guy, but God Choose him to lead Israel and restore order in the land of Israel.
God also Chooses people to Punish People.
For Example: in the Bible God choose enemies of Israel to Punish Israel when the Israelites disobeyed the teachings of God.
