- Grieving relatives gathered outside a morgue in the Ukrainian city of Poltava on September 4 to try to identify the victims of a Russian air strike the previous day. More than 50 people were reported killed and over 270 wounded in the attack on a military training facility.

no, it was a wonderful idea. Russia always seized the opportunity to strike military and civilian targets deep behind the frontlines since the very beginning of their invasion. Remember Yavoriv, there they killed abouit 100 Ukrainian soldiers with a dozen cruise missiles? Russia had spies among the International Legion volunteers, and they miraculously survived only becase the missile attacking their building was shot down. Joe MacDonald had a good interview about this with Lindybeige on UA-cam. Kursk only shows how little Putin and his henchmen care about Russians. He only cares about his own image as the world's supposedly strongest man, when in fact, he is just the same little nasty spy, put on the top by oligarchs in 2000.

This is a problem. One of the few times the Russians can't be "blamed" other than the fact that they are guilty of the entire war of course, but tactically it was a military target. To many people to close together, protocols must be shapened, possible higher ups may have to be put responsible. Clearly the Russians bare the main overarching blame, but within the context of a war, the death toll is to high for a military instalation near the front.
There has been too much focus on Russia attacking civilians, they do of course actually attack civilians but publicly ignoring the targeting of all military objects does not only keep it out the minds of civilians but also Ukrainian officials.
