Interesting I didnt' find this video earlier... I was trying to get a similar frame but maybe 400 class to for 10" props. And it's really impressive when I read about 30m flying. It's almost commercial quality!! BTW, I noticed that you mentioned the vibration is very low. In my opinion (could be wrong), folding frame usually is prone to vibration more than fixed arms. But it seems that's wrong in your case. Any comment? It seems folding arms are all pros no cons??
great job man, it's awesome! Just a question: please, describe your setup (motors and props, esc, battery and full weigth) to achive 30 minutes with a 3-axis Gopro type gimbal! Thx!!
First you have to have a minimum weight to achieve a maximum endurance (850 grams without battery). I used T motor 920Kv motors (2213), 9" props (T-Motors), a Ztiny 2 3 axis gimbal (200 grams), YI 4k camera (similar to Gopro 3 but with 4k video), custom made Li Ion battery 4S3P using 18650 GA cells (10 amps max per cell).
nice build i was looking for a this type of frame cz i hate traveling with my f450 frame..can you give me the dimensions or a plan for this frame because im gonna build this very soon
@@HuguesD Thanks. I am designing a similar one. I will probably 3d print the clamps and plates and use aluminium tubes for arms and a square tube as center plate... what is the weight of your design? Only the frame parts, no motors and no electronics. Thank you!
PLA is easier to print and is non toxic, but this plastic is more fragile and brittle (and does not resist high temperature). ABS is stronger and less brittle (material used in car bumpers) but is toxic (fumes during printing process) and harder to print (warping, clogging) and is resistant to much higher temperature than PLA.
Great vid man, but why didn't you just cut the plates from ready made cf sheet material? would be much stronger since those much higher density. wouldn't you agree?
Man, you deserves more subs !! Super cool video and project! Going to try to make something similar! I truly don't know why are less useful video on line with more likes. Going to share this!
You can use aluminium too. It might be heavier. One thing you have to be careful with aluminium is vibration propagation. Aluminium has no dampening effect at all. Balsa/CF or a mix of materials is better.
You can add gembal or fpv camera
yes of course, it is fixed by velcro on the central beam. I have a video showing this you can Watch.
Wow!!! Man nice diy foldable Quadcopter really man impressive.

Hey nice work! Do you share the STL files? Does the motor bases that connected to the CF tube also 3D printed?
?🙏
Pretty cool! How do you fix the arms, when opened?
it clicks in by friction

Hey which material used for 3 d printed parts. I am confused btw pla and abs

@@HuguesD so what you suggest for this I should go with pla or abs , I have creality ender 3 printer

I could have done that indeed. It would have been stronger but heavier. And one of my objectives was to make my own CF/balsa panels.
Hello. Very neat build! Do you have a build thread for this where you specify components like motors and props?
Hello, thx. I unfortunately do not have a abuild thread other than this video. Ask if you have any specific questions.
Man, it's awesome!!
What motor do you use in this kit??
The T-motors MN2213
This is super exactly what i was looking for. Is it possible to share the printed files? I would like to give a try
If you have an email I can send them to you

What happen when i go with alluminium beams and alluminium tubes
