I received some good compliments today at work while making a presentation to quantify the impact of new credit sales plans here in El Salvador, I didn't take the credit for myself and referenced it to your youtoube channel. Thank you Doug H.
Very lucidly explained. the first how to video which I could actually use to make a excel chart. love you UA-cam as well as this fantastic user and his super helpful video.
Thank you very much!!! you are an amazing teacher! I hardly ever use excel and don't remember anything from school, but you are amazing and I was able to follow you step by step and make my own tornado chart. It helped me tremendously with my masters dissertation.
Hi Doug why the tick mark on the chart does not point to 0 on the new label? is it something wrong with the second table I created? Thank you in advance
Hi Doug, this demo was excellent. I know that this is a few years old now, so thought I would add a comment about something I noticed in O365 in the hopes it saves someone else a bit of time. When doing the scatter chart step, I followed the steps, but it kept converting the entire chart to a scatter chart rather than just the series. In O365 when the "Change Chart Type" dialog appears, it will be set to "Combo" by default. When I click on "X Y (Scatter)" like your demo, that is when it converts the entire chart to a scatter. What I had to do, is in the "Combo", scroll to the "X-axis" and change that to a "X Y (Scatter)". After that, everything is the same as you stated. Thanks for the great demo!
Hi Sir, need your help, when i am trying to convert x -axis to scatter diagram, the whole chart is converting into scatter instead of just x axis. M I missing something here. Thanks
Just a quick question - at 8.31 the data totals suddenly change to something different, have I missed something? Probably me being daft. After amending the Scatter Graph I seem to end up with the values at the bottom being too far to the left. Really useful guide though once I get to grips with it!
May I ask about how can I manage lots of data such as a thousand or ten thousand (compare budget year 2016 and 2017)in main categories, it may 5-6 categories). Thank you for your help
You might want to use PowerPivot or PowerQuer to summarize the data. I've got a few videos to peruse PP - ua-cam.com/play/PL-n8f1cY_Qw_jKRDz5hAlZfHx7iysYtiG.html PQ - ua-cam.com/play/PL-n8f1cY_Qw9v3Y-jSrPy8-ctFw2yJjLZ.html
