Thanks for watching David! I’ve looked at that cruise myself. Maybe I’ll do it one day. I really loved my time on Celebrity Millennium and can’t wait to sail on her around Japan next year.
Hi - new follower! I’ve been binging your videos (they’re brilliant thank you). Funnily enough, a liner that consistently has clotted cream is Marella!
@@CruiseShowUK it’s definitely quite budget, but the premium drinks package is great (think it’s £12.50pp a day) and the specialty restaurants aren’t too bad either. Great for a mini break or cheap getaway
I enjoyed your video. Weare going on our first Celebrity Cruise this Fall, 2023. Can you please explain more details about the "Captains Circle"? I see the Captains Club but I don't see anything about the Captains Circle. PS we will be on Millenium. TIA
Hi and thanks for watching my video. I’m sure you will like Celebrity, they have a lot to offer. Millennium is their oldest ship, but I loved my time aboard her. Good food, excellent service from the crew and a well maintained ship. If I mentioned Captains Circle, I think I must have made a mistake… Captain Circle is the loyalty club on Princess Cruises!
I really enjoy these food review videos from your cruises. Glad to see that you had a true balcony to enjoy your room service on, rather than one of the not-really-a-balcony infinite balconies on Edge class. When I try Celebrity, I definitely think I want to cruise on a Solstice class ship like this one.
Hi Heather and thanks for watching again. I’m interested in the Edge class and those infinite balconies in particular! I do love the Solstice class and have sailed on Eclipse, Solstice and Silhouette many times. This ship was actually a Millennium Class ship. Very classic cruise experience and I really enjoyed it. Thanks again, David
Thank you as always David for your excellently presented video. What would also be interesting when reviewing speciality restaurants, would be the cost and your marks out of 5 for “value” over and above the MDR offering. You summed it up on your balcony, “This is the life”. Regards 👍
Hi David…how would you rate Celebrity food experience versus P&O food..buffet, main dining room and speciality restaurants? I do really fancy doing the ‘Edge’ Celebrity in future …good vlog - Deb’s
Hi Deborah. On the whole, I really rate the food highly on Celebrity and I love their ships. I’d say the food is better than P&O, but that’s just my opinion. I also have my eye on their Edge class, they look fantastic don’t they! Thanks for watching and hope you are sailing somewhere wonderful very soon! David
I just got off P&O Ventura on Saturday, and would agree with David that Celebrity's food does 'better' P&O. That said, I do really enjoy both, and P&O's food is significantly better than most other European-based lines, again my opinion!
The afternoon tea you mentioned was an invite through the Captains circle, I’m relatively new to cruising, can you tell me if this is the same as the captains club or something completely different and if so, how do I become part of the Captains circle?
Hello and thanks for watching my video. Sorry it was a slip of the tongue! I meant to say Captains Club. (Captains Circle is Princess Cruises loyalty club) Hope you are sailing somewhere wonderful! Best wishes, David
Brilliant thank you. Yes we are flying to India doing an eight day tour then sailing from Mumbai to Singapore on the celebrity millennium. How did you get the invite to the afternoon tea or do you just book it on the ship. We are already captains club members from a previous celebrity cruise.
I have some neighbours who have just done that literary! They had an amazing time and loved the Millennium just as much as me. You’ll have a great time I’m sure. Just check through the daily program for the afternoon tea, or if it’s a specific Captain’s Club event, you’ll get an invite delivered to your room.
This was a great video. On Silhouette last year, I was very curious about the QSine restaurant - I didn't understand how it could work and not be 'tacky', so this was great to see!
The captain and officers on Millennium are superb! I took their 12-day Transpacific journey to Japan. Best cruise I ever taken in the past 15 years.
Thanks for watching David! I’ve looked at that cruise myself. Maybe I’ll do it one day.

Fantastic video. Your detail is always a 5/5!!!
Thanks so much for the comments. I really appreciate it. David

Hi Emily! That’s so good to know. I will try Marella for sure now!

Another great video and just making me hungry 🤤 and get on another cruise, thank you, love your stuff 👍
Thanks again, I really appreciate it! David
My favorite episodes are the foodie ones! Thank you!
Thanks as always Aimee!
Once again thanks a lot David for the reviews.

The animation looks really entertaining

Hello;👋
Another great video you posted 👌 👍! I am looking forward to seeing the MSC Yacht video 😊👍🙏.
Thank you for watching Elizabeth. I can’t wait to be back in the MSC Yacht Club, it really is special.
Thanks for a nice video

Thanks Norfolk Boy and I like that idea. I’ll make sure to use it on the next cruise! Cheers, David

Thanks for watching! I do love the Silhouette, the Lawn Club Grill is fantastic…. in good weather!!
@@CruiseShowUK totally agree - we tried it on a mild Southampton night last year - can only imagine how great it must be in the Caribbean sunshine!
Is there crab at the buffet?
Probably! I don’t remember seeing crab, but they had huge shrimp and mussels etc
Thanks for watching. David
