In the 18th century philosopher-theologian Jonathan Edwards wrote a treatise called
    ' Freedom of the Will."
    '. I haven't yet, but I think I'm about to read it.

Wow, you're brave to take on this subject! (It really does need to be addressed.) Years ago, there was a judge in Florida who made neuro biofeedback part of the sentencing for criminals he believed wuold benefit from it. Sounds like shades of A Clockwork Orange, doesn't it? But I have seen its effectiveness firsthand in a family member with Reactive Attachment Disorder which can actually cause structures in the brain to be abnormal from the womb! The primitive brain is overstimulated, causing overdevelopment of traits like self preservation and vigilance (and thus, anxiety). The higher brain is less developed and thus causes what appears, effectively, to be a lack of empathy and even conscience. Of course, neuro biofeedback is not a "fix" but does ameliorate symptoms.
Thank you so much, once again, for a fascinating and important discussion. Blessings! ✨

Thanks for another fascinating conversation. So much so I went out to get her book. Hopefully Nita can play a part in developing the regulations so badly needed to keep this intrusive power in check. Also liked the brief discussion here on free will. If we have free will can neurotech enhance it? If not can neurotech protect us from ourselves? How about interviewing Robert Sapolsky?

Thank you for watching! I'm glad you found it insightful - Tried to get a hold of Robert once, will try again!

Is there an app that tells us the level of privacy protection offered by online companies. I would certainly pay for one. Though I am assuming there are no repercussions for companies that change their privacy protection levels to the minimum without penalty. If not there should be.

Brain-sensors into earbuds? How can that work? If that can measure any significant brain-states/activitys, that should be a cause of thinking about every day mobilephone-infrastructure, because if earbuds can measure something (relevant), then also that usual mobilephone-Infrastructure can also measure nearly the same relevant signals. And it could mean that, in case of doubt, we are all individually measurable in the mobile network infrastructure. At least, if we have special brain-activity, and not sort of passive neuro-activity.
And one thing may is a proxy in that interaction: neuroenhancement with metalions. To increase cellpotentials and network-stabilization. Or even increase the interaction-possibility...
And: if that is true, there is something very bad going on. I mean, you never know anymore, what sort of influence is triggering ypur brain (and in consequence your mind and reactions to stimulus).
And another probability is, that the area-wide irradiation for mobile-phone-infrastructure may can influence atmospheric dynamics and fluctuations/circulations, so that a part of "climate change" is a symptom/consequence of irradiation for mobilephone-network and controlling/influencing/measuring individual (or collective) brain-states/activity. Constantly irradiation may cause watervapor-molecules to orient their dipol-condition at the alternating field, so that this impulses take away the original impuls from heat-caused rising into higher atmospheric layers, were watervapor then can condensate back to fluid water. And for that being very relevant part of atmospheric heat-regulation on earth (in lower atmospheric layers).
Another complication can be, that the constant irradiation also cause watervapor preventing from condensating by certain physical influence, bnot only by preventing it to rise high enough, rather also by manipulating physical constants and exceed normal threshold value for condensation.
Thats also relevant, because the phase-transition of water in the atmosphere is one of the relevantest clime-regulation mechanisms in the atmosphere. We all know about the "radiation balance" calculation, where the sun shines down to earth and the earth reflects a part of it and another part will be converted in other radiation. But that "model" is not the hole truth, if we implicating the water-circulation within the atmospheric circulation and the phase transition of water, what is transporting huge amount heat-energy with itself and give it away in higher atmospheric levels, where the radiation-balance then looks diferent, as we always get explained.
