Salaam Dr. My question is, have you approach any other scholar or anybody to support or continue this work together with you? Or at least any plan in doing that? Thank you.
@Mohd Syazrulazwan Mohd Zin Salamun Alaykum. The answer is yes! I have approached some of the major scholars in this field. They have rejected my approach because they could not get their indoctrination out of their own way. There are other reasons too... In any case, I would love for other serious, open-minded scholars to contribute, as long as they are qualified, humble, and take the time to understand the methodology before judging. Most (if not all) have been indoctrinated to accept only "on the authority of this person or that person." They have not been trained in most of the sciences required to appreciate this 3ilm... Sciences such as Math, Logic, Critical Thinking, Investigative Methods, Methodology, Cognitive psychology, Linguistics, Philosophy, Historical Methods, Novel writing, Hermenutics, etc... They dismiss all these fields because they are not willing to invest the time to learn them. In reality, I rely on all these fields and many more to reach novel ways of freeing my own mind from indoctrination that deludes it. After that, I learned how to make correct Duaa so that Allahh may have mercy on me and allow me to understand. Alhamdulillah, Allahh FORCED ME into conditions where I had to learn all these fields, and many more... So, yes, I would love for scholars to work with me on this.... This why we have established this channel... To spread this divine 3ilm. This 3ilm is not my property. It is a divine gift to mankind. Only a divinely-guided person would appreciate the weight of this last sentence. I ask Allahh to make you one of them. Regards
@@MarvelousQuran i am with your approach, because i studied programming and trust me your concepts make sense. It shows the Qur’an is not a flat text but interactive and dynamic text. And lastly, these answers my questions why angels love to be with us everytime we read it..,
@ mohammad javid Although I appreciate the sentiment, please do not hold me in such high regard. Since I can remember, I always wanted to make movies. Especially when I came to practice Islam, which now I am learning that it was based on a false premise. I still am holding to and on my mission, to make movies about THE TRUTH OF QURAN in form of movies, which help to spread the TRUTH about which I am learing. This might take its time, but as long as Allah swt allows me to walk on earth I will hold on to my mission. May Allah SWT grant me all it is required to achive my Goal, such as I want this for myself, this much I wish at least the same reward for my spirituel father and teacher Dr. Hany Attach.

As a screenwriter, I deal with Greek mythology. The corrupted version of the Torah is based on the legends of Greek mythology (GM), for example when it comes to Nuh AS. In the GM, the character is called Deucalion and his wife Pyrrha. And there are other similarities that I have noticed. In the case of YUSUF AS, there are strong parallels to the character in the GM to Prometheus. ...

Dr Hany AOA. You are doing great work which is appreciable. There are so many Channels but from most of them, I don’t find anything to learn because I myself understand Quran at their level or sometimes even more. I basically started learning by reading a variety of traditional explanations (in Urdu) and then being unsatisfied I turned those which are criticized and traditional Scholars insist and advise NOT TO READ. I am naturally inclined to controversial ones. I admit I learned more from them though I did not agree with them 100%. There was a scholar called Ghulam Ahmed Pervez. He tried to explain Quran in the light of Quran. He also compiled a Quranic Dictionary ( Great work in Urdu) using many Arabic Dictionaries and also compiled an index of Quranic Ayah in Urdu. He collected all Ayah ( translation in Urdu) topic wise. He also judged Hadith with ref to Quran. He could not complete Tafseer and passed away. In 1960 , He wrote an article in the light of Quran and predicted that Marxism will fail because it violates Principles given in Quran( He died before collapse of USSR). He tried to evaluate everything with ref to Quranic Principles. He was called Hadith Denier and Ahl i Quran. Though he was none. I also learned from him. Reading a variety of translations in Urdu and English I found differences in translations. All are correct ( I skip bracketed words) but mostly are not deep enough and seem to miss something. However it broadened my concept. I started to listen to this Channel by Chance. After listening to 2-3 Videos, I started from one and today was 50. I agree with you about layers of knowledge in Quran but I feel there are more than 2 layers (not only two). For me this channel is treasure and I am learning continuously. Best Regards
I can relate to ur pain sir as i too was enranged at these so called scholars. And as u have implied before that Allah doesnt give u all understanding all at once. And when i was ready i was somehow led to your channel. May Allah reward you for your efforts. I may have to rewatch ALL ur videos once again to understand it fully. I cant thank you enough in all seriousness
Assalamou alaikoum this is one of the best explanation of the Quran ayats I come across for a longue time, I just have tell u some thing ehen I first downloaded the bab nuzul I though it was written by a none muslim trying to confuse the Muslims just to tell u so I always be very prudent about the tafsires and many hadiths
Asalamualikkum it is amazing Masha Allah.I can see many brilliant programmes or leadership was ended when that persons time finished.and there was no one to carry on with that work.insha Allah I hope you will train others to carry on with this marvelous job in case something happens to you.
Salam alaikum I always was wondering what was the reason and meaning behind such dream of piyambar Yousef that Allah wanted us to understand?! And i couldn't come up with any....i found this and many other traditional translation full of confusions so every time i tried to refer to Quran to learn anything from the verses i couldn't learn anything other than those general commands about being a pious person....in our shia community they encouraged us to read Quran for Savaab, so i gradually got this concept that, understanding Quran is impossible and that i should only refer to it for gaing savaab and nothing else! Now i can't stop learning Alhamdullah.
I have so much to tell you ,how my relationship with my Qur'an changed and became soo much stronger and exciting ,the methodology you teach is FREEING causing great enthusiasm and eagerness. May Allah open our hearts for the Truth ((الحمد لله الذي هدانا لهذا وما كنا لنهتدي لولا أن هدانا الله لقد جآت رسل ربنا بالحق))
Alssalamualaikum Sheikh. I just finished this video and going to your next video. I know many video ahead. I have to go slow as I'm not learned scholar in Islam therefore cannot contribute much to your Jihad. But your methodology touch my heart compare to our old pious tafsir. Thank you Sir and Alhamdulillah.
"The Organic Methodology that is derived from inside the Quran. The Quran is not a human object, no human can come up with that methodology. The methodology includes the rules, steps, various principles, instruments and the general guidance and declarations Allah has put about His methodology in the Quran". In all my life trying of learning the Quran, no one has ever taught about a methodology. They just read from the books of tafseer. Its high time Muslims wake up and reflect on this. As I am reviewing this series after about 3 years, it is just unthinkable that our young people continue to learn the traditional tafseer.
I watch your videos interestingly... You have your proofs and logics for you interpretations... But we can't simply admit all the things you say... Someone or some experts have to counter check all the things you telling.. Through that it will become more authentic... And more people will take it seriously.. This can change the way of thinking of all muslims.. Therefore it should be very authentic and accurate..
Dear Dr Hani, Assalmoalikum I am really shocked , can’t express my feelings, simply stunned. Amazing discovery and explanations which grab me by heart and soul. Jasakallah fir your extensive hard work. Need to spread in other languages specially in indo pak subcontinent , how it could be managed.
Your strive to true objective discourse is truly admirable. The ummah needs more scholars like you, who advocates one of the main quranic principles which is to eliminate blind following. We should always try to think, ponder, dive deeper and reflect, leaving behind preconceived biases. This is when we will start feeling how present and personal God is within our lives. Hopefully this culture of mass blind following dissipates and brings out the true beautiful Islam. May you experience the beautiful blessings of God. Ameen.
Interesting stuff as always. Perhaps in next video you can provide the verses of corrupted sources (Bible I.e.) where the tafseer has taken from. Thankyou so much.
Salam alaikum Dr. Hany. Absolutely incredible video as always. Thank you my good man. I have a question regarding Azar. Why did God say “his father Azar”? Why not just father? Surely there was no point in God naming him Azar. He could have just said his father period. Could it be that Azar might not be his father? “Abih” can also mean uncle right? I have a hard time believing that prophets emerged from corrupted loins. Please explain sir. Thank you
Salaamun 3alaikum.. @44:00>> does it means I hv to be a "faqiir" in order to receive from Allahh s.w.t, begging as in situation of Muusa a.s when he recited a duu'a ...*Robbi inni limaa anzalta khairin faqiir* ??
I don’t know why the pious predecessors translated they Quran in wrong way but all subsequent Muslim scholars and ulama kept on following is unexplainable for me. Thanks to Allah I am now in marvellous Quran group.
Thank you again. We don't know what was discussed centuries ago, what was suppressed. I can point you to the other books and Message, how quickly corruption seeped in. Software has made it easier to cross-reference words and now any person can check for themselves and notice translation selections.
A small interesting fact is that in astronomy, one of the characteristic of a planet is that its orbit is chaotic or disordered with respect to geocentric view, i.e. when we observe them from earth in cotrast to the sun and moon with ordered orbit (or more like progression in change in their position in our sky). In Japanese, planet is called 惑星 (wakusei) which means 惑 astray 星 star (= celestial body).

Salamun Alaykum Dr Hany may Allah SWT increase your knowledge and understanding, you're right sir, you don't need any scholars to support you for people to accept you, Who Allah SWT bless with knowledge will click with you. You're so right cos I was self-taught by the Angels, and they gave me insights into what I couldn't ever know. I could like you to show me more about surat Yussuf as I believe that's my clue to move forward. Jzk
The Quran being the only preserved text by Divine Decree, it then stands to perfect reasoning that it is complete in itself, thus self explanatory or self analytical, understood by different levels of understanding depending on how much each one us give it its due diligence. So, the pure text of Quran doesn't need cross referencing from any other text to validate it.
Many thanks for the enlightenment. I remember, in the sira of the prophet they said that the surat Youcef was revealed after the prophet returned from Taif. The people of Taif turned back on his message when he invited them to embrace the message of God. Earlier during the same year, the prophtet has also lost two important backers. For this reason Allah heralded him with this story that he is going to have the upper hand over the people of Quraish. The Surat carries a prophecy to what happened later to the prophet.
Another aspect we can explore is the vision or ruya with his father was while they were both in the "daze" or alpha brain wave state between sleeping and wakefulness that you elude to later videos. I also have a gut assumption that we can communicate with other close ones, prophets, and ulema in this "daze" regardless of location, time, whether "physically" dead or alive.
Asssalamualaikum Dr. I'm just a normal person who has not much knowledge of the Quran but I find your guidance is very enlightening, probably 'radical' to the view of the current norms (current ulama of tafseer) but yet Important! and requires immediate attention! I would like to quote a hadith - “Verily, Allah will not let my nation agree upon misguidance". The hand of Allah is over the united community.” As such, I feel like there has to be some sort of 'World Council of Quran' whereby all ulama can get together and hear your voice/good-cause and hoping that they will arrive in agreement with your findings that the Quran needs to be given a re-look in its entirety.
@ Abu Hassan Ali Salaamun Alaykum brother I am not sure what your educational background is, but I will assume that it is post graduate (based on your eloquence and objectivity displayed in your proposal). Image you live at the time of Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, the brilliant Russian chemist who devised the Table of elements as a way to deal with the various elements in nature. Before that period, going back for at least 2 millenia, people understood chemistry based on the 4 elements of water, fire, earth, and air. Everyone knew that! Now imagine that you ask Mendeleev to subject his sophisticated and revolutionary organization of elements to the approval of people who insist that all elements fit the 4-element model of nature... Essentially, our ulama are stuck in a 1400 year-old paradigm, very similar to the four-element model... Moreover, our proposed methodology threatens everything for them, including their reputation and livelihood. Now you understand, I think, the challenge with your request. But I sincerely hope that you are correct in your optimism Here's to hoping. Regards
@@MarvelousQuran Waalaikumussalam Dr Hany. InshaAllah. Excellent points Doctor, about falling into the pit while using corrupted versions of the Scriptures. As you said, nobody new about the incidents of Yusuf, Allah is confirming this in Ayah 12:3 :"We relate to you ˹O Prophet˺ the best of stories through Our revelation of this Quran, though before this you were totally unaware ˹of them." Excellent point, I don't agree with your number 11 analysis though. Because it implies lot more than you referred, lot more profound. May Allah give us the right directions to have the personal realizations. Thank you
Assalam aleikum brother the best thing I learned from your presentation is the emphasis on bringing critical thinking skills when trying to understand the teachings from the Quran. I always thought that Allah would not have given a brain to women if he did not want us to use them. Many passages as presented in tafseer were not acceptable to me as a professional. I appreciate your encouragement for working towards our own understanding. In future segments it would be great if you walked us through how you came to your understanding of the different aya and as you said there can be a dialogue if someone comes to a different conclusion.
another question..? since u directed me here (to this playlist) in regards to my question of الارض meaning scripture rather than just earth - u say in this first video that Muhammad was told to write, but we know historically that the Quran was not exactly codified until Uthman and was more so verbal/oral transmission during Muhammads time - so what do u mean he told him to write it there (in regards to the hamza)?? general honest question - in no way shale or form am i saying this in a condescending or sarcastic way. Please let me know though, thanks again.
Salaam Dr. I would like to ask about the "eleven", which you said mean a lot/many. Can you explain how? I said in the video later you will explain, but I afraid I still didn't catch / get that in the video. Thank you.
@@MarvelousQuran I am also awashed with sense of renewed energy to reread alquran. i believe that you are given this understanding to teach. many past imam also after gaining renewed understanding, they were shunned by their peers. the weird thing is , many translations in AlQUran has israiliyat in them, even though ALquran has explicitly says the past BOOKS has many things wrong in them. I love this approach, because i dont see anything wrong with it.
Your approach and translation, for me are too heavy, yet soo liberating, an eye opener. May Allah guide us in straight path and in his mercy. Wanted to hear more.
Salamun Alaikum. Refer Quran 2:166-167, 7:38-39, 14:21, 26:96-98, 33:67-68, 34:31-33, 38:64, 40:47 teachers and students (leaders and followers) arguing in Hell... he he he... No wonder you experienced PAIN in your stomach. Excellent Video Dr Hany. Keep up the good work. p/s I do not have any PAIN in my stomach and I don't have any teacher... he he he...
I'm reflecting....AlHamdhulillah Quran is Barakah.... The Qur’ān remains one Book but does flow infinitely. So that when their hearts come alive they would be able to understand what the intellect, rationality and external observation could not understand.
58:17 Doc, I have noticed that you translated "ٱكْتَتَبَهَا" as "he had someone write down for him" instead of "he wrote it down", may I know the grammatical understanding or your thought process behind it. Thank you.
I understand the hard work ur doing to understand the Qur'an better , but people will question , why the previous ulamaa didn't get the real meaning of those verses? Tafseer ibn kaseer, tafseer jalalin and tabari.
23:33 Doc you referred Kawkab as Al-Kawkab while you spoke bout it. How come there is a definitive particle while in your speech while there is an absence in the wording? The same can be seen in the UA-cam captions/subtitles, you've referred it as Al-Kawkab.
Also Doc, isn't it supposed to be a definitive particle in the Qur'an? Allah(SWT) didnt use "Al-Kawkab", if it had been "The Star", we could've easily said it was Azar. But the word "Al" is missing. Please correct me if I've gone wrong with my understanding. The reason I'm stating this is because in the following verses moon and sun are referred to as "the moon" and "the sun". There is a definitive particle.
Why are you struggling so hard to find new concepts and meanings for Qura'anic passages and words which are totally alien to the consensus of the Muslim ummah till today. If you are so convinced with your veired thinking and fallacies you write your own scripture so that no one on the earth would come forward to criticize you. While doing so make sure that you provide every possible meaning/lexicon for the present and future readers to avoid any disputes later. Please do justice to Muslims and Islam by leaving us alone as we hope and pray to Allahu Ta'ala to guide us and to make us firm in the right path.
Salam Sir. I am new to your channel. Your understanding is interesting. The only suggestion I have is if you can present your point in a condensed way in a lesser amount of time. In most of your videos that I have seen several minutes go by before you even start giving your point of view. If you kindly spent less time on bashing the “pious” ones, and more time on proving your understanding it will be more affective. May Allah reward you for your faithfulness.
@amir1319 Salamun Alaykum. We really appreciate your comment and we thank you for the advice. Please keep them coming. We need the advice and duaa from everyone. If you noticed, we never name anyone in specific. When we refer to the "pious" predecessors, it is not out of disrespect for them. It is to highlight the erroneous conclusions that they have reached and presented, and then forced upon the Muslims for the last 1200 years. The results of such erroneous interpretations have been disastrous to the Ummah. If you have not watched our other videos, please do. We believe that you will develop a better picture, and then perhaps you will find our style of presentation to make more sense. The initial "several minutes go by before you even start giving your point of view" are there on purpose, to ensure that people do not skip prior videos upon which we build to make our point. We understand that it's annoying to some, but those familiar with our other videos know exactly how to skip forward. I sincerely hope you continue watching, and then we look forward to your further comments Regards
Some basic questions What was the language of Jacob / Joseph (pbut) and their tribe? What was the language of the King and his tribe in Egypt at the time of Joseph (pbuh)? When in the Quran it is mentioned “ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ” is it the exact wording of that time or it is translation by Allah (swt) from that language into Arabic?
Assalamu Alaykum, Dr. Forgive me for not knowing which branch of knowledge your degree is in. But, at first, I thought you were taking aim at "translating" (not interpreting) some matters in the Quran. I do however, see that you are taking the direction of "interpreting" the Quran in English. I do not know if anyone else before you attempted that challenge and what came out of it. But, if your doctorate degree is any other than Islamic Science, I would urge you to be cautious in what you state. You have established a platform and have gathered followers. those followers will take at least "most" of what you disclose "at face value". Pretty much like what you're saying in the beginning of this video as a base of your interpretation of the Surah. Therefore, I would suggest that you would let everyone know that what you are discussing on your channel is based on such knowledge or such studies, not just mere personal view. You have stated that you have approached scholars and your thoughts were rejected. I really thank you for stating that because it tell me that you are at least honest. I still think that it would be very healthy to get the support of those that have the greater knowledge of Islamic Studies, that can "proof" your work. If done, it will greatly enhance your message and its validity against mainstream understanding of Islam. Stating that scholars rejected your thoughts simply because they just didnt want to invest the time to learn other matters of knowledge/science, is not enough. Henceforth, it "downgrades" your message to a "flat" personal opinion, that could be labeled as meaningless if not coupled with studies of the subject matter. As to the actual subject, I saw in another video that you use the word "locution" quite a bit. while it sounds nice, I do not see it lending the statement any value than using the word "expression" especially when you use with it, Abrahamic. if any, it adds more mystery to the sentence to the average viewer. Furthermore, I have never heard of Abrahamic Locution before, because there are none. There is, however, the Quranic Locution/Expression. that one is widely know, self proving, as it the word of GOD, and commonly accepted. Injecting a new expression label in the Quran, Abrahamic Locution, gives it a new spin that, in my opinion is not acceptable and with no benefit since it takes away, intentionally or not, from the original "core" value that "All Expression in the Quran are Allah's, Even if they Words Uttered by Humans". Thanks.
Salaamun Alaykum It is obvious that you don't have many hours of watching our videos under your belt. Your recommendations are valued and noted, albeit clearly uninformed. But please watch a few videos, and then you decide what advice to provide us. Advising us without knowing what this channel is all about is a little premature, to say the least. As to the "locution" advice, please watch this segment (to the end) and you will understand more ua-cam.com/video/-ZSnRlHTqzI/v-deo.html. There is also a playlist that should help you learn more that there truly is an "Abrahamic Locution", and that the Quran invites us to learn about it and explore it and use it. And finally, just as an FYI, since you asked, I have 40 years of studying and teaching Islam and the Quran under my belt, including reading over 28 Tafseer, more than 12 translations, dozens of "mother" books, and hundreds of Islamic studies and Quranic studies books, papers, dissertations, (in Arabic and English), etc. I spent 10 years, between the years 2010 and 2020, re-learning Arabic and all its specialized branches of linguistic arts, while immersed in an Arabic speaking society, even after having been educated and completed my B.S. in my native Arabic tongue. I also have studied philosophy, linguistics, logic, abstract mathematics, novel writing, psychology, sociology, history, philosophy of science, behavioral economics, cognitive sciences, business strategy, human resource management, organizational development, and many other fields. Those who know me well refer to me as having encyclopedic knowledge. So, yes, I would say that I am as qualified as any graduate of a ten-year program of "Islamic studies" or "Shariy3ah" to express the knowledge to which Allahh has allowed me access. Don't you agree? Regards
@@MarvelousQuran Assalamu Alaykum. Thanks for your kind reply. I see where you're coming from. It is indeed a great achievement to have collected that level of academic knowledge. A level, I surely cannot measure up to. So, you've earned my respect for that. I am a bit skeptical tho, about the Islamic level. Although 10 years of "reading" Islamic studies does sound like a very long time for anyone in that category, in my opinion I am not sure it qualifies "anyone" to bring about their own new idea on what the Quran meanings are. With all due respect I intended in my reply to urge caution on where you're stepping as you are delivering on behalf of Allah. It is a great task and should not be taken lightly. At the end, if Allah SWT see this as a way to guide someone to his path, then may Allah aid you. If, not, then I pray that Allah would guide you to the best path. Once again, thanks for a great discussion. Wassalam.
@@MarvelousQuran Sir. In this day and age, you must hold an acredited certification to become a subject matter expert, or have conducted and published extensive research papers in the subject you're claiming expertise on. That's for academic knowledge, not even touching religious subject as these carry their own weight. So, the way I see it here is that you are the only person claiming what you're claiming with no one else with acredited knowledge supporting your claims. So, no, not even 40 years is enough, even if you've spent them all in religious readings. To me, I see you discussing any of the other matters you've "actually" recieved an education on. Good for you that those who know call you a walking encyclopedia. But sorry to say that based on your education, and what I have seen in your videos, you do not have the qualifications to discuss the subject you're unnecessarily taking on here, especially when you're introducing an unfounded new idea, again unnecessarily, that radically changes people's perciption. For God's sake, one of those people already stated doubt in the Quarnic scripture because of your so called "Abrahamic Locution". Quite frankly, if I compare, well if YOU compare yourself to someone like Shaik Shaarawy, you would lose, hands down. Just on the subject of Surat Yusuf, you crash and burn within the first minute when you claim so confidently that there are surely no dreams. Completely ignoring the glaring word of Jacob back to Yusuf telling him not to share his DREAM with his brothers. Look, i am no scholar of anything, but common sense is commin sense. I cannot force you to stop spreading unfounded theories, but I can only alert you and others onthe dangers of what is being claimed here. End of text.
@ A Mahmoud As you wish. Notice that all your objections are basically that Dr Hany should not speak on this topic. You did not present any evidence WRT any of Dr. Hany's opinions or evidence. This 3ilm is not for everyone. Allahh has to allow the receiver to receive. May Allahh guide you and guide us to the self correcting methodology.
Dr Hany, thank you for giving me the link of this content! (42:38) "... most of the time the word "ardh" is not refering to the earth or the soil... it's refering to the scripture...." I pray to Allah that I will have the opportunity to understand how you ended up concluding that the word "ardh" in the Qur'an means "holy book", not "earth" in English. I hope you would publish this very important thing, "Ardh is The Scripture", result from your months of investigation which involving more than 440 ayahs of the Quran. May Allah grant my prayer. Aameen!
Also that scholar you mentioned that referred to pharaoh as al-malik. He is way off because in yusufs time they were called kings and not pharaohs. Just saying
Salaam Prof Atchan, humble request to enlighten us the specific words in Arabic referring to 'caravan', 'dining setting' such as 'lavish banquet' by Al- Aziz's wife, 'kitchen utensil', 'hospitality manner practiced by Yusuf', 'traveler in caravan', etc. Highly appreciate your help and assistance. I am trying to understand this Surah from my research field perspective. Thanks a lot Prof.
Is there any reason to choose only controversial topics first?. Could it be better to go for common points first while making inter prepration or understanding quran.??

Asalam Alaikum Dr thank you for the work you are doing how can I get a copy of your translation of the Quran because it answers most of the question I have about my religion I always have this feeling that we are doing something wrong
Salam. So how do you explain that most of those scholars long ago did not know about locution and thus interpreted wrongly? Also, if the quran is the final message n guidance n for you to unlock all these quranic teachings not only must you learn arabic to a certain university degree but then you must learn the locution... tafseer hadiths Grammer context... of arabic arabia... then for a non arabic speaking from iceland i have no choice but to devote minimum study 25 years just to grasp the real meaning of the quran??? and yet this quran was meant as guidance to the world??
Coming from Bible studies I could see immediately something was off. I used to look up words in Lane's lexicon, and cross-reference manually. However nowadays we have tools like corpus.quran.com (God bless them) where you can cross-reference even all word forms, and the relevant lexicon page is linked as well.
Salam Dr Hany. You mentioned earlier in the video that you wanted to talk more about the number 11 mentioned in verse 4. I think I might have missed it in the video, can you point it out. I am curious why Allah mentioned the number and what it meant. Thank you
If Yousuf (AS) is not talking about his dream or vision in Ayah (12:4), as explained by the classical mufassereen, then why does his father, Yaqub (AS) advise him in Ayah (12:5) not to tell his brothers about his vision, lest they be jealous and arrange a plot against him? Also, how do you explain Ayah (12:100) in which Yousuf (AS) tells his father that, “This is the interpretation of my vision aforetime. My Lord has made it come true.”? Even though it is conventionally explained (unconvincingly) that in the laws of the previous Prophets it was allowed for the people to prostrate before the men of authority, I find it difficult to believe that Prophet Yaqub (AS) would prostate to his own son, along with his wife and other (11) sons. I would appreciate your response and explanation.
Hi Doctor, you said there are 2 times the word Manaam occurred in Quran. That's not true. The word specifically occurred 4 times. Verses (8:43), (30:23), (37:102) and (39:42). Besides words from the same root occurred in more 5 places. Please check your software.
@@MarvelousQuran well, so, it's you who will decide what the word means! Interesting! Well, the word Manaam occurred 4 times. And all of them have the same meaning
@Farhan Pavel You are the one who is making up your own definition. Manaam simply means "sleep" or "sleeping time" Aya 39:42 is clear: Allahh recollects the Nafs during its sleep (not during its dream)! "Yureeka fil Manaam" , on the other hand, means "to show during sleep", i.e., dream. This expression occurs only twice! Learn Arabic before you judge anyone!
Beautiful explanation Dr. Hany..may we also receive correct guidance and real meanings from Allah (SWT) ...and we are looking forward to many concepts clearing videos. Allah will surely help you
Thank you very much for sharing you thoughts. And I’m not surprised cuz, i know some from pakistan his name is MOHAMMAD SHEIKH. He got lecture about yousuf AS. And he said same thing bout his his beauty that was not physically. But i need to watch this video again to understand the whole point. About that dream thing.
Regards

In the case of YUSUF AS, there are strong parallels to the character in the GM to Prometheus. ...

Waiting eagerly (and patiently) for the full Quranic version of the story of our Prophet Yusuf Alaihissalam. Thank you for this presentation.
Dr Hany
AOA.
That's why sahaba says only Allah and his messenger knows the best

I always was wondering what was the reason and meaning behind such dream of piyambar Yousef that Allah wanted us to understand?!
Now i can't stop learning Alhamdullah.
this made me cry
I have so much to tell you ,how my relationship with my Qur'an changed and became soo much stronger and exciting ,the methodology you teach is FREEING causing great enthusiasm and eagerness. May Allah open our hearts for the Truth

Only a person who has sincerely pored into our holy book for decades can be rewarded by these insights.May the efforts you take be rewarded.

Ameen.

I could like you to show me more about surat Yussuf as I believe that's my clue to move forward.

Right on! It's Wahy as we defined it in this channel, based on the Quranic methodology that we use. Alhamdulillah
Insha Allahh

Salaamun Alaykum brother
I am not sure what your educational background is, but I will assume that it is post graduate (based on your eloquence and objectivity displayed in your proposal).
But I sincerely hope that you are correct in your optimism
Here's to hoping. Regards

If consensus is a legitimate source of truth, than what do you say to Christians who have a larger consensus?
Beautifully explained all- the errors and the truth. Thank you so kindly.
Alhamdulillah
I sincerely hope you continue watching, and then we look forward to your further comments

What was the language of Jacob / Joseph (pbut) and their tribe?
What was the language of the King and his tribe in Egypt at the time of Joseph (pbuh)?
When in the Quran it is mentioned “ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ” is it the exact wording of that time or it is translation by Allah (swt) from that language into Arabic?
All the languages of the whole region go back to the proto-semitic language, and they have shared linguistic roots.
Thanks.
Salaamun Alaykum
It is obvious that you don't have many hours of watching our videos under your belt.

Wassalam.
@ A Mahmoud
40 years... Not 10 years!

As you wish.
(42:38) "... most of the time the word "ardh" is not refering to the earth or the soil... it's refering to the scripture...."
I pray to Allah that I will have the opportunity to understand how you ended up concluding that the word "ardh" in the Qur'an means "holy book", not "earth" in English. I hope you would publish this very important thing, "Ardh is The Scripture", result from your months of investigation which involving more than 440 ayahs of the Quran.
May Allah grant my prayer. Aameen!
Aameen
JazakAllah
Insha Allahh in future series, we will deal with Surah Yussuf completely
Is there any reason to choose only controversial topics first?.
Could it be better to go for common points first while making inter prepration or understanding quran.??
@Salaaamun Alaykum Brother
You jumped into Video #48! There were 47 other videos you could have started with!
Give us a break brother
And by the way, these topics are the easiest to digest. What's coming is going to make a lot more GOOD waves, we promise!

@@MarvelousQuran thanks for your immediate response.
please put numberings on these videos ,so that a chronology can be understood easily.
Asalam Alaikum Dr thank you for the work you are doing how can I get a copy of your translation of the Quran because it answers most of the question I have about my religion I always have this feeling that we are doing something wrong
When it gets published insha Allahh
I am sure you are smarter than that
Coming from Bible studies I could see immediately something was off. I used to look up words in Lane's lexicon, and cross-reference manually. However nowadays we have tools like corpus.quran.com (God bless them) where you can cross-reference even all word forms, and the relevant lexicon page is linked as well.
Just be good person, just, rightness, loving, caring. Read quran on your own language without others opinions
Salam Dr Hany. You mentioned earlier in the video that you wanted to talk more about the number 11 mentioned in verse 4. I think I might have missed it in the video, can you point it out. I am curious why Allah mentioned the number and what it meant. Thank you
Please watch the series on Surah Yussuf, starting here ua-cam.com/video/qIZvQznt3Ug/v-deo.html
Wallahi! I used to question my self how round or circle shape planets can Prostrate.
Great minds think alike ;)
AoA 31:56 may be raya from base line means from heart or from soul. As i can't see from the eyes whats behind me. I am checking if that is correct?
SIR,U ARE GREAT.
Allahu Akbar my bro
As per what the prophet said about Yusuf alaihisalam could it be beauty referring to intellect / intelligence 🤔????
We addressed these details in this video ua-cam.com/video/zhahZQAQh-8/v-deo.html

Alhamdulillah!
Hi Doctor, you said there are 2 times the word Manaam occurred in Quran. That's not true. The word specifically occurred 4 times. Verses (8:43), (30:23), (37:102) and (39:42). Besides words from the same root occurred in more 5 places. Please check your software.
I said the word Manaam that means dream is mentioned twice.
Please check your ears!
@@MarvelousQuran well, so, it's you who will decide what the word means! Interesting! Well, the word Manaam occurred 4 times. And all of them have the same meaning
@Farhan Pavel
You are the one who is making up your own definition.
Manaam simply means "sleep" or "sleeping time"
Aya 39:42 is clear: Allahh recollects the Nafs during its sleep (not during its dream)!
Allah will surely help you
Insha Allahh
Thank you very much for sharing you thoughts. And I’m not surprised cuz, i know some from pakistan his name is MOHAMMAD SHEIKH. He got lecture about yousuf AS. And he said same thing bout his his beauty that was not physically. But i need to watch this video again to understand the whole point. About that dream thing.
