Longer vlog is the better on a Sunday morning 😊 Maybe a couple of more layers on the white would make it clearer, either way looks good 😊
I think you can put the compostable plant pots in the new ground / soil, with the tiny plant in it. It will compost in the ground and you don't have to remove the tiny plant from it and disrupt the roots. But I'm not entirely sure...... :)
I don't mind the black part of the fence. The black and white matches the house's exterior. Isn't the greenhouse going to cover up some of it, anyway?
I personally would never use compostable pots again. There's a bunch of different kinds but they all have drawbacks, and some are actually less sustainable than plastic pots. It's harder to keep consistent soil moisture, the pots themselves can wick water out of the soil, and often times in places with high humidity they can grow mold. Up-potting often means putting one pot inside the larger because roots have already attached themselves to the pot and then you waste a pot. I also find most don't break down as quickly as you'd like and plants with finer roots don't break through as easily making the plant root bound. A good quality plastic plant tray and up pots are so much more durable and reusable, with fewer problems in my experience, and you can buy them once and be done.

The fence will be fine with a few more coats you could try a different colour once the black is covered. The garden will soon be an oasis 🌷🌺

I think the white looks better than the black but maybe paint the frames around the panels a different color just to add some pop and to break up all the white?? Anyway, I love watching your vlogs and I love Echo!
Have you considered that if other cats go in and out of your garden, Echo will also have no trouble getting out?!
If the soil you got from someone else is old you might want to give those clematis a feed... 😉

Hi Kay, loved the gardening theme of the vlog today. I was thinking about your fence and perhaps one of the Cuprinol shades of outdoor paint might be nice? I have used pale and dark blue in my garden but a soft green or different accent colour might be a nice addition rather than the black or all white? Looking forward to seeing your garden flourish with all the love and attention it is getting. Keep well and thanks for your vlogs. They make Sundays such a restful day for me.

Love the long Sunday videos :) You could put some climbing plants on the white painted bit to disguise it somewhat? I personally think it looks better white than black

It's all looking lovely, but you have no way for hedgehog's to pass through. They need to move from garden to garden to survive 🙂
We have some gaps under the fence at the top of the garden which I think they could fit through ☺️ I’ve seen now you can get the gravel boards with holes in especially for this!

The white paint definitely looks better than the black; probably you'll have to add a second layer to cover up all the faint hints of the black material underneath. Always looking forward to your Sunday vlogs, no matter what you are up to. The garden is looking so much better already! Maybe you could build something around the bins? Like a bin shed? Moving them somewhere else would probably make putting the bins out quite the hassle. Have a lovely rest of the weekend!
We painted ours in Cuprinol Shades Country Cream, makes the Garden feel really cosy and warm 🥰 the White looks good too but just a suggestion for if you're struggling to cover the black 👍That and the Natural Stone is Neutral as well 😊

Looks lovely. Please beware that cats are famous for climbing trellises to get up and out. Actually they usually run up them. As a cat lover I've learned that they can be quite sneaky. I just love Echo. He's gotten so big! 🥰

Your garden is getting lovelier every day! Regarding black versus white paint, since you're not really pleased with either, have you considered staining it to match your new fence? Just a thought for your consideration.

I'm not a fan of black either and would have done the same with that fence. It doesn't look great after just one coat but once you've given it another coat, maybe even three, I'm pretty sure you'll be glad you did it. It'll make that area seem much brighter and fresher too.
