The Island of Naxos (Νάξος), Greece 🇬🇷 | Walking Tour | 4K

Naxos is the largest Greek island in the Cyclades. The largest town and capital of the island is Chora or Naxos City. The island is in the Naxos-Paros-Mykonos ferry line and its location and beauty have made the it a big tourist destination.
The main landmarks of the island are the Temple of Apollo (Ναός του Απόλλωνα), Agios Georgios Church, Agios Nikolaos Church (Εκκλησία Άγιος Νικόλαος), and the Statue of Sphinx of Naxos.
In the video, I take you on a walking tour on the amazing island. Our journey begins on the boat, then to the port, the main square of Chora, the central part of the island, to the Temple of Apollo, and Venetian Castle (Ενετικό Κάστρο) neighbourhood. Then we continue our journey to Agios Georgios Beach (Παραλία Άγιος Γεώργιος). We walk along the beautiful beach towards the Statue of Sphinx and the busiest part of Chora, where all the shops and food places are. Finally we finish our tour in Agios Georgios church in Chora area. Enjoy!
