  • I hope you don't mind hearing my voice or finding out that I get a little salty when filming sometimes. I absolutely love filming wildlife, including the frustrations and uncertainty. So here's a little peek into my experience trying to film a Northern Harrier at a wildlife refuge. Despite the errors I had a great time! Thanks for coming along on this ride with me. The beautiful, frustrating subject is a Northern Harrier.

This is cool....ever notice how the birds of prey have raised wing tips?? When they fly and are "floating"...the tips of their wings are "up"....This is awesome!

Beautiful! And hilarious. 😂 The northern harrier is how I ended up picking up Sibleys bird book. I saw a hawk with a huge white patch on top of its tail, and *none* of the other books pointed out what seemed like a really obvious clue. I took the first book that did. 😉 It makes me happy every time I see one.

😂I hate when I leave my camera on by mistake and then stop recording by mistake! I loved this video so much since I share these same frustrations/ errors. Thanks for posting it❤.
