Hometown Cha Cha Cha is such a refreshing and heartwarming drama, but DuSik is definitely one of the most likeable characters I’ve ever seen on screen. He’s admirable by his kindness, devotion, integrity and life values. He touched my heart in different ways. Also, this edit of him is amazing, thank you!
best kdrama ever. unexpected twists, meaningful conversations, real people, poetry, well researched, new music, healing, forgiveness, happiness, sorrow, guilt, failure, redemption, understanding, family, new beginnings, love, life and death.
why i like korean dramas is bcoz the plot the theme of the dramas and movie are unbelievable like they are supperrr dupperr ❤ every drama every movie make sense to us i just loved it ❤
You know, I don't think it was fair for the wife to blame him at all for the accident. He also lost the most important person to him. But I understand grief makes you illogical. Some people question the security guards choice as well, but poverty makes you desperate. I think sometimes horrible things happen, and it isn't anyone's fault. I also think even though he was Chief Hongs best friend, he was trying to make Du Sik into something he wasn't, a finance person, and Du Sik has more of the heart of an artist, of course he was naive in that world and thought it would help make poor people's lives better, we all know the world if finance is there to serve the wealthy. I'm just glad Du Sik had Gam-ri, Gongjin and Hye Jin to work through this traumatic survivors guilt. And that HyeJin and Dusik found eachother after so much loss. I hope anyone else struggling with survivors guilt realizes they deserve to live a happy life. Such a beautiful series, won't forget this story! 💙
Honestly this I had a hard time understanding. It's almost he needed to be a scapegoat for something to have a "dark" past and this is the best the writers could come up with. "Make him responsible enough but not directly" He was not responsible for anyones death, not the guy in the car or the security guard. Because it was their own choices, to get in the car or take out a loan for stocks. Like that guy is not Du sik's client, he doesn't have to respond to him. That whole "i won't apologise for blaming you" blame what? exactly what, their own choices? that sub plot was so illogical ew
I can't help but to notice that HomCha literally like what Kim Seon ho faced right now..all bcoz of missunderstanding. When I rewatched this series I can imagine what Kim Seonho felt and the comfort words from gamri and gongjin is like what the fans want to say to him. Hope he get the happy ending like HomCha and people will stop to criticize him after they knew the true. Can't wait to see him pretty smile again 💞
you know....survivor's guilt is a scary thing......sometimes all you find is darkness like the light has finally found its edge.....when that happens your soul years for someone you can lean on.....im glad du shik has such wonderful people in his life :)
this was so beautiful. the progression of the dialogues and scenes is spot on, and the music just adds to the melancholy and bittersweet undertones of the MV... so well done. and du-shik!! oh god, this man. he deserves the world for how kind he has been throughout his life. even on the brink of death, where it would have been a very tempting choice to end everything right then and there, he decided to live another day. yes, it was gamri-ssi's text that was the catalyst that changed his mind, but the one who made the decision to continue living, despite all the suffering, was du-shik himself. that alone proves how strong and kind a person he is. i love how everything comes full circle- gongjin and its people saved him and gave him a purpose when he'd lost everything, and so, he too helps gongjin and its people. not out of a sense of obligation, but because he is genuinely grateful to them and loves them like family. i'm going to miss this drama so much :'(
I agree with absolutely everything you have said, du-shik bravo. A masterpiece. Often music in these dramas gets overlooked so thank you for mentioning, beautiful. Thank you Netflix
Beautiful, well choice of clips, dialogues and the music captured the mood of the moment. I love the characterization of the casts, their strengths representing the real drama in life that viewers can associate. This is my 2nd Kdrama that I have watched. Well done. I hope KSH in his own time will return to give his viewers globally, the smile and gentleness of his character. ❤🙏
It takes a village to nurture its children. Ths adage is well depicted in this masterful weaving of episodes as it unveils the life of each characters. It kept me wanting more for the lessons in life that's taken forgranted.
The way Kim seon ho potrayed the character perfectly. The acting that just comes out of his eyes like guilt, fear, happiness, anxiety every expression was potrayed well on his eyes. This is a literal MASTERPIECE I just recommend to everyone. The drama started as a rom com then as you go deeper, knowing more stories about the characters you realize how relatable and perfect this is. Learned millions of lessons from this drama.
I just love how the writers made Hyejin's character breaking all the stereotypes that girls can't be ahead first in a relationship, especially in confessing and proposing part. Her straightforwardness made her more charming!!! love the proposal part the most!!! I cant believe that this is goodbye Like the last episode has come. I am gonna miss this drama so freaking much. I haven't felt this sad at farewell since I watched true beauty. This drama is too good! Many lessons to be learnt. Family, friendship, respect, responsibility, honesty, love, passion and much more!!! Will definitely recommend others to watch this drama
It’s almost 1 am and I’m crying over this amazing edit like a baby. This is absolutely incredible. His backstory shattered me into pieces. I’m so glad he got the happy ending he deserved 😭
This is one of THE greatest kdramas ever watched. Gonna miss this soooo badly . Such a great masterpiece showing every aspect of life 😍 . Also your edit is 🔥 You've picked the the best lines and visuals. Great job as always . 💯

I love this drama so much. Been a month since it's last episode but I still keep on rewatching it! I don't know when will I get over this drama. I love the everything about it. 💙 The scandal that KimSeonHo is facing now makes me really si sad. How can people be so judgemental. We all make mistakes. These mistakes make us better version of ourselves. I hope and pray that KimSeonHo will be able to bounce back after this and realize that he deserve to be loved and be happy just like Hong Dusik. 😢
I completely understand dusik, it's so hard to forgive yourself and face the past, but eventually you will have to do it, because living blaming yourself or with regrets will only bring unhappiness to ones life. So if you are going through hard times, please hold on, give yourself time to heal, to cry, to forgive the ones that hurt and mostly forgive yourself. Fighting.
Watching this video now is so bittersweet. I hope KSH has people beside him that are comforting him like Dusik was comforted. No one can take away this amazing performance by KSH and it will stand the test of time showing what an outstanding actor he is. As always, your edits elevate and enhance the shows you choose. The time and talent you spend making these videos is very appreciated.
@@genevievefernando6531 that’s what I was thinking watching this video. Life is imitating art. It is so sad that a moment of triumph was destroyed with one social media post.

I understand couples in love are more popular (maybe that's why people don't watch my channel so much) but when they make such a wonderful video on a character and people don't even have to watch the show to understand how much he loves or what his pain is. And this is exactly what I love every second of this video. Wonderful work sis ❤️😍💔 amazing song
does anyone feel like startup and hometown kinda line up? especially for seonho's characters? he was smart rich and successful in startup but was lonely and sad. so he left all that and came to a place where he became friends with everyone. always kind and helpful and generous and selfless. also the "killed someone" storyline adds up in both scenarios. in the end he does find someone sweet ambitious loving and caring like he deserved.
Beautiful Edit! So sad to watch because of events this week. They say Art mimics life, but in this case, Life mimics art! The music is so haunting in your edit. Thank you for taking your time to do this. Don't give up please.
Your edit is awesome 👏🏻🥂 This kdrama is the most amazing one, no doubt💝💝 Finally they got their happy ending. I was so sad when Gamri halmoni passed away. She is one of the most important people in Du Shik's life❤❤
Ah i already missing this drama. The story is very touching and heartwarming, its very humane and showing how us dealing with lost, trauma, anger, guilt and how to see the light amongst the thick darkness 💕 Gamri halmeoni is an angel😭💕
Thanks for this awesome video, was so good i teared watching this! It really reminded me of the pain that Chief Hong went through and how he managed to pull through.. 💕🥰
