I love how Rick shook hands with the seller n straight up wiped it in chum's shirt lol
He absolutely did, must have been a sweaty handshake for sure 🤣🤣🤣
So incognito too haha
This dude looks like he's coming down hard.
lol poor dude
Coming down or just shot up
“Music expert” plays antique record on a crosley. Sounds like a meme.
Chris Sche hahaaaaaaaaa
Came here to say this xD
LMAOOO RIGHT
I know right! I know it's portable but jeez even a sound burger is at least cool looking and the Sony "knock off" is actually pretty good sounding. not sure it'd play this record mind, given no stable back.
Came here for this comment. I wouldn't trust a crosley player for a brand new 10 dollar record.
Rick: let me call my expert
Expert: I've actually never seen one of these
ellisdtrails420 not only that but the ‘expert’ walks in with a crosley cruiser 😂😂😂
Harry Jackson yea, can't take anyone who uses an cc seriously
yeah never seen these but he knows that most of the times they sell from 80-100..BWAHAHAHAHAHA
plus the expert bring a crosley turntable so much for an expert
montrealfilmguy you don’t have to have seen something, to know how much they sell for.... there is such thing as the internet.
"You need an special turntable to play it", the guy walked in with a crosley 🤣
worse, the crosley cruiser, better known as the record wrecker
Seller: I want 500
Rick: I can give you 30 bucks and a couple hits of Meth from Chumlee's stash.
@Lost1nMyM1nd OG it's totally heroin not meth
This comment cracked me up I can’t lie 😂😂😂😂
@@seanflynn8467 bruh 😎
Lmao Savage
@@ktbowersbellsouth chumlee got busted for intent of distributing meth
“It’s just like a cassette copy”, yeah, one that someone risked going to jail for making, and others risked going to jail for owning. I don’t recall any of my circle of friends being charged with a crime for making cassette copies of their albums!
You didn't get it, he was making a joke about people who have albums on weird formats and nothing weirder than this.
That's what happens when you let the person you're dealing with call in their own "expert". They find a way to undervalue something for the very thing that makes it cool.
Would you pay $500 for a bottle of moonshine made during prohibition?
Craig L No, but I’d pay that for a bottle of original Cocoa Cola with cocaine in it.
@@craigl2382 If I had a bottle of moonshine made during prohibition, and could validate that, I probably would not be selling it at all.
That's an insult to the Bone Record Community!
They should align themselves with the Pez community and boycott Pawn Stars.😂🤣😂
Bunch of chooches
@@LOTW1..duh! its a pawn shop
All five of them
5 months later and you still get likes
“Needs a special record player”
“Expert” busts out the cheapest suitcase made in China record player you can buy.
in soviet russia record records you.
Special as in they don't make these anymore.
Dude probably didn't know how to use one is what that means lmao
Most are pretty cheap now and start at about $45, but Crosley started making these things in the early 90's, I doubt in China (at least then). Jesse looks like he's had this one a long time judging by the particular stickers he has on there and their condition, also the particular color and materials of the case are both partial to the late 80's and early 90's. Yes obviously these things are supposed to look retro but his probably actually is.
Crosley Radio is an audio electronic manufacturing company headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. It's a cheap record player for only $50. Made in the USA.
“He said $200 so I would like to start there” lmao “ umm No”
I wanted $500:
But instead I’ll trade my grandpa’s rare 1950’s Russian bone record.. for Taylor swifts new album.
3:10 The reaction of Rick while listening to it makes me laugh. LOL 🤣
Lmfao like master oogway with the mouth ☠️
"I'm going to go buy an album at the store"
Lmao, what a lame lie for buying drugs.
I was thinking the same. I probably would have kept it as a curious piece.
And dude probably woulda taken a 20 and ur finest spoon
ahahahahha finest $30 spoon!? ahahah
Dan no, it’s a heroin joke.
@@moments5932 😆😆
Why is there so many comments about heroin
Rick would have given him a plastic spoons from the trash
The actual reason we used stuff like this for records, was cause of the flexible material, so you could sew them inside of clothes. Most of the stuff was coming from the west through Eastern Germany. You put inside your jacket, then travel deeper into eastern europe. Voila, now you have some music.
From Berlin right? I wonder how many people don't realize that Germany was split in half and Berlin was also split in half and Berlin was technically in East Germany. Had to have made it a whole lot easier and whole lot dangerous
"It sounds like somebody's killing somebody."
Well that's a Crosley turntable for ya.
Its also the sound quality of that record.
It gave it character honestly, could make for some good ambience in a horror film.
He's playing it on a Crosley. There's your problem. 😂
You just killed half the value of that record by playing it on a Crosley
A piece of music history and he just had to play it on a Crosley Cruiser
When I saw the Crosley I immediately cringed.
AwesomeAustin this should be top comment
@Turok Hilsen it is an extremely cheap budget turntable, with a needle that will damage a record. All records degrade with play but cheap needles directly scratch records.
When u hear gulag after Warzone was released.
Was waiting to see this comment
Can’t remember the cod I used to play but there was a gulag on there too!
Funaki .Chidori probably mw2. But obviously warzone is a little different.
When little kids don't realize that gulags have been around for hundreds of years... 🤦
@@brianwalker3171 yes , but we in live in a society where if something isn’t memed all over social media and the trending topic nobody will gaf. Yes gulags been around but this game warzone they’re talking about literally gave it its popularity unfortunately.
Was really hoping we would hear some Rick Astley when he played the record.
No. Those records were made during USSR. But not till 1989., like they say. You could buy records from Eastern bloc artists. Just not Western blic.
@@sikecar534 it’s a joke
That would be awesome 👍
ROFLMAO!
I'm never gonna give you up...
imagine your grandson selling your 50 year old sentimental record for 50 bucks
For meth
@Rouge for 50 bucks tho? thats a tank of gas for years of memories
@Mable's Fatal Fable even if he didn't cherish it his grandfather did and that alone is worth cherishing and preserving for the next generation. 50 bucks is less than a days work for years of memories gone.
I thought he was selling an Bone Thugs n Harmony record lol.
ol' school Tony Carter fo tha luv of money
Me too
same
Lol
Let me call my buddy, he'll know if you'll get your fix
"Risk is on you guys" - Uses a Crosley -
that hurt me so much lol
As much as I hate those portable record players, I have to admit it's probably gentler on records than the record players of that era - even the ones made in the US. Some of those old machines tracked at pressures not measured in grams, but OUNCES.
I'm an expert in the field and have never seen one of these in my life so definitely worth 80 bucks
Awesome profile picture
You're clearly not an expert in the field.
This one is not in good shape, and plays only because of how soft the material is.
Sure, you can find someone who will pay 80 bucks for it, but they're not exactly rare in ex Soviet states, and will sell for peanuts there.
@@incumbentvinyl9291He was mocking the "expert" on the show, dude 🤦♂️
I love when they say the line, “is it okay if I call up my guy”. Can they put that on a t-shirt
Might as well put it on a tape recorder & just press a button. He says it every episode.
How much heroin does $50 get you?
spot on
5 grams
Two points of a gram
More than Gold
.5 grams
In Soviet Russia, record plays you.
Good joke man! Very funny! I am going to laugh!

Herbie Husker not funny didn’t laugh
Haha! Yeah! Russia is so tough! Hahhaha!
Herbie Husker that’s why it didn’t sound right. Some expert he was to not know this
1:22. My face when rick says he taking all the risk at $5
"It was illegal to own any type of record-making device or a recorder during the Soviet era." That's one strange statement. Almost all tape players and reel to reel produced in the USSR had a recording function.
Shows you how passionate he was about writing music 😂
1:20 When you see the sniper glint
I was half expecting him to say "But since I only got $50 I'm just gonna buy some weed".
3:44
The seller was like: okay man, can you stop spitting and just say the price
Another re-upload nice one .

lmao hes not gonna use it for a band hes going to use it for sweet lady H lol
$500 for recording an album? Is the album 1 song long?
code for quick drug money
Studies vary in price, and if your friends with the dude you get good discounts, 500 could be well over enough for a 10 or so song album
Dudes band album was gonna be epic for 600$ too!!
I feel like when he calls the experts to come it he tells them what the item is and tells him to say a cheap number when there talking to the customer and then selling it for a way bigger price
Rick " how much do you want for it
Dude " anything man my dealers on his way
That look right after "I feel like I'm in a gulag" xD
This is a facinating piece. It is both musical, political and subversive. It informs future generations about the history of artistic censorship under a totalitarian state. This is important for studying a history of the progress of human freedom. I want one.
He was clearly happy to part with it for 50 bucks. After crying the in the customer bathroom for an hour, he did the post-sale interview.
1:20 No, Chum, you are in a ghoulash.
His final explanation explains it all....drugs with friends....nope....welp drugs alone it is. Bahaha
I’m still waiting for that one person who asks a dime more. “I’ll give you 50$ and not a dime more” “ I can do 50$ and 10cents my lowest, sorry”. 😂
“I’ll call my music expert”…who shows up with a Crowley Cruiser…
It looks like hes holding the guitar up in the thumbnail

Nice. Interesting bit if history.
Dude you sold a peice of history for $50 🤦♂️
When you're an addict, you'll sell anything for a buck. I used to work in a rehab facility, and this guy has all the tells of an addict (clamy skin, constantly fidgeting etc.) , probably heroin.

Thought he was selling a BONE THUGS N HARMONY record...
Lmao me too
My pop would have been salivating over this. He was an encyclopedia when it came to vinal. Mainly for Doo Wop, but his collection could have sustained a radio station. Thousands of them. So glad he got me into music. I knew pretty much every song on the oldies station, by the 3rd grade. Shoot the first concert I went to was Chubby Checker, The Ronnets, and the legendary Smokey Robinson, at the Fox Theater in Detroit "my hometown". I actually sang for Wolf Man Jack, who was Master of Ceremonies that night.
I don’t know if it’s worth $5 or $5000
Expert: it’s worth $5000
Rick: I’ll give you $5
Them withdrawals killin the man .

I kinda feel bad for this guy, you can hear the disappointment in his voice that he didn’t get enough money to create some music for his family, so instead he’s “just gonna buy an album at the store” 😢
Seller: started asking for 8-ball, settled for 1/2 gram.
The first form of privacy.
He’s going to go buy an album with the $50? He shoulda just kept the one he had!
After hearing it, maybe not

Yeah, a lot don't know what "every penny counts" means or just don't care lol
Seeing how this is pawn stars, I'd figure they'd have scratching on the record like jam master jay.
I go to the bone record store and ask, "Do you by any chance have a bootleg copy of 'Stars on 45' on an x-ray picture of a broken arm?"
Pretty ladies in the background.
They probably recorded that album with a... skeleton crew. "snare drum..." -_-
I would have at least gotten the extra 9 cents lol
As a matter of fact, this guy will write you up. Owned by the boss.

He should have just sold it or donated it to a museum especially in Germany. He could have had his name on the wall with it.
