- This video is literally just an information dump, focusing on VERTICAL scrolling comics and manhwas, NOT book styled. In the future, I may even have another vid going into further detail about a specific subject (e.g., transition techniques) but SimonWL’s already done a very good vid on it (the link to their vid - • 8 Techniques for Scene... ). Your main friends for panelling will be the gradient tool, pattern/stickers and tones (e.g., polka dots, speed lines, etc.)
Webtoons (on the Naver WEBTOON platform) referenced and HIGHLY recommended for framing inspiration and techniques (I know I always use the same ones, but seriously, these never let me down in their creative ways of formatting):
Nevermore
For My Derelict Favourite
Raven Saga
The Academy’s Undercover Professor
The Perfect Hybrid
If you want to read my current webtoon, its called 'When the Moon Ate the Stars' and this is the link --- www.webtoons.c...

Please continue making videos...I sincerely appreciate all of your tutorials it really helps me...and probably many more.
It is simple and informative making it very easy to engrave in the mind.
Because it is simple artists who learn from your videos can add more creative things they want in their own way.
It's like when you're making a fan art of an already simple looking character and adding more details to it because it's just fun.
Thank you for your very thoughtful comment, I do try to make tutorials easy to understand and open to allow artists to add their own creative touches too - so I'm especially happy to hear it's conveyed to you in that manner !! I have lots more tutorials in mind so when I can I will definitely upload :) Thanks again so much for support(*^ワ^*)
Thank you very much. You are so helpful! I have been researching now quite a lot on how to make a webtoon and if I say a lot I mean a lot 😂. I can confidently say that you deliver the most helpful content and I am very grateful for that. I hope you can continue this series.
Ayye good on you for researching before starting (I think many people don't, including me when I first started), it will definitely make a huge difference for your comic. I'm really happy to hear my tutorials are helpful, and thank you for your kind support ( ´ ▽ ` )b I will certainly add to the series in the future!
