¡Hola, profesor! Me surge una duda referente a los multiplicadores, concretamente respecto al Multiplicador de TR en Economía Abierta (Modelo IS-RM). Llevo un buen rato intentando sacarlo, me sale c1/[1-c1(1-t)+m], pero no estoy seguro. Si me puede confirmar o corregir la expresión se lo agradecería infinito. Valoro mucho su tiempo. +yessica castillo hola Yessica es indiferente, Y es una variable que se usa para representar el PIB. Por ejemplo, la I significa inversión, la C significa consumo. Es por un tema de simplicidad. Saludos.

Así es, exacto. Pero, con la curva IS, la dinámica es que primero al aumentar la renta (crecimiento del PIB) se empieza a demandar más dinero porque hay sensación de más bienestar y garantía en el pago de deudas, pero ahí sí esto hace que después se eleve el tipo de interés por la alta demanda del mismo.
O sea, en la IS No es el interés el que hace aumentar la renta Y, sino al contrario, el aumento de Y hace que interés se eleve como consecuencia.

Muy buena exposicion abreviada. La voz un poco monotona. Yo agregaria, que para Keynes, el Banco Central decide la offerta monetaria, la LM seria constante y se representa por una linea recta.
Eso solo funciona si el crecimiento economico reacciona de forma directa a la inflacion como en 1930.
Pero en 1970 la inflacion se volvio inversa al crecimiento, por lo que al aumentar el gasto publico G bajaba el crecimiento.

Esta muy bien explicado sin embargo a mi me parece un delirio este modelo. Para empezar el precio del dinero es su poder de compra, es decir la oferta y demanda en el mercado de dinero determinan el poder adquisitivo del dinero. La tasa de interes surge en el mercado de bienes, son llamados "mercados de tiempo", por ejemplo los contratos de opciones y futuros, las acciones, etc, son instrumento que se negocian en base a la especulacion de los precios futuros. La razon por la que cambia la tasa de interes no es la demanda de dinero, sino la variacion de las preferencias temporales. La tasa de interes es el cociente entre un precio actual y uno futuro, cuando la tasa de interes baja significa o que los precios futuros son mas altos lo que indica que habra escasez, por eso los agentes invierten mas cuando la tasa baja, cuando la tasa sube los agentes tienden a ahorrar mas (demandando mas bienes para acumular valor como el propio dinero, el oro, etc.) por eso subir la tasa disminuye la inflacion ya que aumenta la demanda de dinero (y todo lo que sirva como almacen de valor).
Alterar la tasa de interes natural que se da en los "mercados de tiempo" (mercados especulativos) mediante mandatos del banco central simplemente es desorganizar las señales del mercado asignando mal el capital y provocando a corto plazo un aumento del empleo y el consumo, pero a la larga estanflacion, es como la droga, al principio se siente bien pero a largo plazo te volves dependiente y te sentis enfermo.

Otra pregunta, que relación tiene en multiplicador en la función IS?
+Ale Mendoza si tendré en cuenta los ejemplos pero más adelante. Aquí no lo podemos ver pero si aumenta la propensión marginal a consumir incrementa el multiplicador. Es decir, que frente a un incremento del consumo, la inversión o el gasto público el efecto multiplicador hace que aumenten aún más.

+josue el peruka Te recomiendo ver el capítulo 10 y el 13 que ahí explicamos con detalle estas dos preguntas. En resumen, un aumento del consumo autónomo desplaza la curva de demanda agregada hacia arriba, por lo tanto, aumenta el PIB o nivel de ingreso. Y con la política monetaria expansiva (capítulo 13), al aumentar la oferta de dinero, caen las tasas de interés lo cual aumenta la inversión y, en consecuencia, el nivel de ingreso.

La curva IS no es : Y=C(Y-T)+I+G ? no entendí lo que hiciste al consumo. En el libro de Mankiw aparece tal y como te lo escribo
+Nicolas se puede escribir de las dos formas, una especifica el consumo autónomo y la propensión marginal a consumir. De igual forma no afecta el análisis.
