Love, Loss, & Loneliness

From first conception, it had been over a year working on this video. What first started as me wanting to share a simple story about the time I played Majora's Mask as a little kid quickly became an excuse to do some introspection and exploration. While making this video was very rewarding it was also very difficult. It forced me to confront a lot of emotions that I have been hiding for a long time. I believe I have alexithymia, so I find I can go a long time carrying a lot of baggage before I collapse and suddenly realize how much I have had on my shoulders. I am actually graduated from university now so I will be moving into the next stage of my life. This video will in the future, hopefully serve as a reminder of how far I have come. Just to clear some things up because I know the format jumps around a lot: I am fine, I am not depressed or anything like that. The reason I bring up real global issues is because 1. I think it is extremely important and it should be on all of our minds all the time and 2. to show how my anxiety keeps me from doing things that I feel a responsibility to do, like participate in marches for example. I believe that people's emotional woes are influenced by society and therefore influence how one participates in society. Meaning, you cannot understand someone without also understanding the society they exist in. Anyway, this video is supposed to end on a positive note so...
