Haha I have a 2003 Chevy Blazer 4x4. Her name is Ole Crusty. Love her, but driving her on the highway is a bit unsettling to say the least. Big bumps get her suspension all out of sorts, feels like she’s going to turn to dust.
lol not sure if you tried the cruise control, but it will shift down 2 gears if it needs to speed up 3 mph. It’ll go up to 5k rpm’s every time. Drives me up a wall and makes me not want to use CC at all.
These classic GM vehicles are the best in both worlds. These older Chevy Blazer's are a lot better than these newer Chevy Equinox's and GMC Acadia's. Modern GM vehicles are not good for reliability. They have numerous problems.
Calling this generation blazer “the honda of chevy’s” is a wild statement considering how unreliable these were. Ive heard horror stories of electronics failures, moon roof’s leaking, engines jamming, frames rotting away. 😂 i prefer the trailblazer that replaced this. Still very offroad capable and much more reliable. Plus the Envoy denali was pretty nice for what it was.
@@jeffreycraig4493it's unfortunate that American manufacturers (it seems) didn't get corrosion protection figured out till long after some of the European brands. There is a 300,000+ Ford escape I saw on a UA-cam video but that was the generation when the strut mount would just rust away.
Make sure you are looking at ones people take care of.. it’s typical for the ones that are not taken care of to be “junkers” I’ve had great experiences with all my blazers and friends and family members blazers to be a great suv. If you take care of them they will return the favor and be very reliable. Just needing normal maintenance
Happy new year! It is such a shame what the current blazer and the trailblazer is now compared to this not saying this is perfect though. The trailblazer has a tiny 3 cylinder turbo which sucks and the blazer is way overpriced for what it is. Do you mind me asking what cars you own currently?
yoooo ive searching for a video like this forever. i never thought someone would make a review of this car. lets gooooo!!!!
Glad you liked the video😎

The bumps on the highway really give a feel as if the whole car is shaking and is very unsettled

Is that normal or is something worn out?

Wow! That's awesome.

It's a pretty simple construction. The engine and transmission are very reliable.
The frame of the Trailblazer was designed to rust away, especially around the rear suspension mounts
And I know, because I owned a 2007 GMC Envoy SLT

I like that suv ❤
It's a cool SUV

Hi! Happy New Year's to you too! The Blazers nowadays are definitely different, but I think they have their own uniqueness too. I have a Volvo S60.
Cars like that, u gotta relax and let it do its thang.. and u basically just guide it…
Pretty much!
Seems like you’re close to finding it.
Finding what?
@ Finding the 2004 Chevy Tahoe White Z71.
@@Willowbrook-wf2pk That's a rare car...
@@DMCarReviews The Chevy blazer is a race car?
@ No? It's not.
I will race your Volvo S60 with my 2007 Honda accord V6 3.0 sedan 😂
What's the point? It moves +/- like an Accord 2.0T on the highway.
Yeah it hauls ass. This the first car I ever owned that’s pretty damn quick and peppy off the line 244hp and 5 speed auto
@@navi_exlis the transmission giving you issues? My family had an 07 Honda Pilot and the transmission started to jerk around before we sold it
