johnnieace45 yeah, my neato botvac is amazing. Better suction than the roombas, and gets every spot perfectly without wasting any time. Now, I haven't tried the 800 series roombas, so I am not sure how much the suction is improved over the previews models. But the 800's are also much more than a $350 neato... in fact double the price.
You should upgrade the gearbox the brushes is mounted in to a green or even better - a grey model. Not as much hair gets stuck in the sprockets as in the red one. Also the side brush should be upgraded to one with 6 arms instead of 3 arms.
@@earthling1984 Thanks Bro,I have one that i bought from a surplus shop and its lacking the back part of it. I need to fabricate the missing part. it is possible to use a PC cooling fans which serves as a vacuum?
@@AdmiralVanz I've never opened one up. But, I doubt a PC fan would have enough speed / power. Would have to look up what type of fan they actually use and try to find same fan (or similar from another brand). May be options in Ebay or other sites.
@@earthling1984 ah ok tnx can you give me an idea about the polarity of the charger . there's no charger when i purchased it. Can i use 18 volts laptop power supply on it?
Jakob Mayerhofer no, the actual bins vaccum sucks hair and dust of the brushes. There are also the thing that the brushes hit in in the door that act like teeth. So the real answer is no. (I have a roomba with a aerovac bin upgrade so I know what I'm talking about
I have the same one. but how do you use the new brushes!? The old ones are grey and yellow. The green ones don't fit! Do you have an installation video?
@@SteltekOne The voltage spectrums are quite the same. The charger isn't a charger, but just a power supply. The charging circuit is all inside the roomba.
I just ordered an 880, but I really like the way the Neato methodically cleans.

Still working?
Yes

is there any mechanical parts inside the
dust bin?
The fan and motor. You don't see them, they are hidden.

I put in whole new brush unit, not just the brushes. Fits in easy and not too much work!
Hello Earthling, this lithium battery is possible to carge with the stock carger?
jojotospot Yes. It works with stock charger / base.
The standard NiMh charger is not designed to charge Lithium batteries. It may damage the battery or worse, have it catch fire...

@@SteltekOne the batteries almost surly have balancing board and charge protection built into the pack, allowing for the upgrade.
I've been charging the lithium for years no problem
Where is the link ?
I think a Roomba vacuuming will make you have more money by picking money from the floor you may not be able to find😂
lol
