I remember this well, reminds me of growing up in the neighborhood and my first love. This is fantastic!

Fun to see this! It brings back memories. The music, the line "wearing bicycle clips on your chinos" and him walking off combing his hair and disappearing. As soon as I saw it again I knew it was Mandy Patinkin playing Teen Angel. That I never realized until now. Thanks for posting!

I remember this. It always got my attention when it came on TV.

I feel nostalgic about 1970s nostalgia about the 1950s...

It was a definite 1970's fad, and it's pretty much how we "remember" The Fifties today. (Of course, the actual 1950's looked and felt significantly different.)

@@Mike_The_1950s_Historian the '50s was actually similar to today when you take out the cell phones and flat screen TVs of today. I plan on writing a book that takes place in the '80s and I'm using mid-century America as a little brief history of the setting.

@@Mike_The_1950s_Historian And due to Deuces Wild's primary prime element being heroin (Or "Junk"), it is the most accurate representation of the time and it was released in 2002. What interests me most is that The Young Savages and Deuces Wild were created by UA. I'd imagine an anthology series remaking those two films.

@@eshaanreza832 Deuces Wild is a favorite, as is The Young Savages (I did a behind the scenes documentary on The Young Savages on my channel.)
Victor, the story of Victor Torres, is also a favorite, as is Death Penalty, which is a fictionalized account of the Capeman.
I think both of them are up on UA-cam.

I never thought I'd see this one again and even began to wonder if I ever really saw it because there's a later version that's different but I remembered the "Nowsville" at the end that was beyond cool how he disappears as he's walking away combing his hair... Way before there was Fonzie... So good to see it again!
