Congratulations! The Ony fight is really such a great culmination of tactics and concepts from the full PVE campaign and so impressive to have cleared. Your breakdowns are always so helpful and this one is especially useful as the fight is exceedingly long and requires real planning and timing.

@@lanmigicga I've bought that boost that gives you + gold from heroics and surge etc for idk, 20$ or something, and I've spent about 100-150$ more on deals I've seen in the store, and I can say, same here. I play the game an hour or two a day, all of my minis are uncommon, I've got a 6-7 rares, and 3 epics. I even bought the pack with chimera when it came out. Grinding is so fucking long, it's crazy. Oh and yeah, I got all minis with atleast 1 talent, 2 if epics/rares, but that's it
My setup is the same as you but my starting deck is always the same but totally diferent then yours. I get Eggs, Drake, Rend, Boar.. and for me it also spawns a drake on the first tower when i attack it, destroying my harpies
Would chimaera be a good option to use?. You have given me hope, you have impressed me that having a base level lower than normal, Onyxia can be defeated, thank you
Using your exact deck and layout with exact army upgrades i do not get bandits in opening hand its actually the last card in my deck. It has to be tower lvl and card lvl that dictate deck placement
Yah, not sure baseline what determines starting, but one thing you can do. Once you load in and see bandits aren't there. Just surrender, then swap their position in your deck with one of the four units you started with. This 100% guarantees they will be there. Learned this trick from Old Guardian (sucks because then you might have to swap the dungeon bonuses too, but worth it for the big fight) (just tested it 6 times in a row and it worked)
I like this videos but for some reason are impossible to follow... even if I use the same miniature, the same order, the spawn me different miniatures in different order in different point of the map.... For instance, begining in the same way , Ony spawned me just in front of the first tower 2 orks and 1 second later a gryphon rider.... I can't contest the chest without spend more miniatures and the gryphon makes eggs or quilboar worthless, so its quite difficult to follow a non flexible strategy. For me, play the leader on middle was the best idea
Ex do you know if that small update the other day patched this? I keep getting spawns during phase 2 and 3 with tons of stuff spawns and I get steamrolled
Im very curious what the absolute minimum level this can be accomplished is. I'm sure over time that'll be figured out, but for now ill just be curious
@@Calibretto9 Thanks for confirming. I really wish I had the “bug” back for a day. Even though not always intentional, every video I see counted on it one way or another. I think it will require a lot of skill and luck to beat with a level 26 deck now. Actually I wish they had never fixed it, to be fair. It just doesn’t seem like a high priority bug compared to all of their other bugs and missing features. 🤷🏻♂️
@@mikeg74 I agree the fight is still quite challenging even with the bug. Keep trying though sometimes you don't actually get enough eggs on the field - I am going to retry and see if I can replicate this

I think they nerfed eggs and also made it so if there are too many they start hatching.

I’m only around level 21-22 on average with this deck. I don’t have a slot for meat wagon…😢
you can start upgrade it. Minimum lv would be around 24 for meat wagon, which is far low since others should be around 25

i have the same deck. avg lvl 26.9 and still no chance. i gain much more enemies. especially the necromancer in the first few seconds.
