It's just been a very long wait for the new flagships, so I can understand why people are getting impatient. Hopefully soon enough though :) Thanks for watching!
Strange but a great deal nonetheless.
Jesus If you guys don’t like it, don’t buy it.
People are kinda wild. Then in like 4 months the S1h2 will come out or something and they’ll still find something. Just use the tools you have or change I don’t really get ut
That’s not the point you do realise Panasonic is making absolutely baffling decisions? they’re competing against other companies yet OTHER COMPANIES are selling vastly superior hardware for less?
Hopefully no one does and Panasonic realizes they'd wasted an awful lot of time developing and producing it for no reason.
@@Spencer_White looks like a test bed of some sort
@@goodgremlinmedia2757This was my thought as well.
I thought we were getting a new evf.
They have a lot of S5’s left…
Digital hot shoe module for Dji mic first please, Sony come first
Lumix is following the Sony playbook by adding a “D” and calling it a new product
This camera with a kit lens is currently 1000 euro including vat.
As a happy S5 shooter...
Why?
It’s time for lumix to sell to fujifilm like red to nikon😂
Jesus Christ, when will Lumix actually release another pro hybrid body? S1H Mark II anyone!?! In my opinion, at this point, they are lagging behind Sony, Canon, and Nikon. I’m sure this has appeal to somebody, maybe some solo shooters, but a pro body with minimal rolling shutter or a global shutter, a good optical low pass filter to eliminate the moire notorious in the S5II, would be welcome!
We're all waiting for it, and I really hope it comes sooner than later!
@@JoshCameron I hope so--Panasonic has got Canon levels of bad in taking 5+ years between pro cameras. In my opinion, what was once a darling brand of higher end content creators and low budget filmmakers have to abandon Lumix for RED, Canon, and Nikon now. I guess if Lumix wants to shift their focus to just solo creators on UA-cam, that’s FINE. It’s just disappointing. And that’s no shade on UA-camrs at all, it’s just that I used to take a GH2/3/4/5/6 onto sets, and I don’t anymore.
and for the Original S5 owners a big middle Fing..... ? :( Thanks Panasonic
Yep
S5DJI
That micro hdmi is ridiculous. That port has to be banned
And they just stopped further firmware updates for the original S5?
I love the camera, but this move was really disgraceful.
S5d sounds like Sad
This is incredibly disappointing, and very disappointing for Panasonic this year as a whole.
The News is that I’m gonna leaving LUMIX 😅
Disappointed - looks like it's finally unfortunately time to jump ship.
Same here. Panasonic don't care about the clients anymore. They have given up.
These comments are hilarious to me😂
Hardly they announced some major new updates
@@RhettThompsonFilm Why? Panasonic have shown they're not particularly interested in serving their professional users. You invest in an ecosystem hoping to grow into it - but I'm losing hope for a truly compromise free offering particularly in response to readout speeds.
@@RhettThompsonFilm plus I can sell now before all this kit inevitably plummets in value when people realise the ecosystem doesn't have legs...
What an absolutely stupid release. Sony must be laughing!
nothing costs attention
