Jim Clark was my and my two brothers hero driver. It’s my Mothers birthday tomorrow and I have many wonderful memories of her but one that was not so happy was that day at Hochenheim. As we approached home she was out on the porch to meet us and tell us of the tragic news before we could hear it on the radio or tv. Bless you Beverly and thank you Jim Clark for your inspiration.
Epic cars, the Lotust 25 and that Ferrari 1512, one of the finest battles I have watched on this channel. Sometimes I wish modern F1 cars did not have wings, we would see them dancing on the tracks like these two beauties.

Es fácil y divertido ponerte a ver una carrera de clásicos de f1 pero en 2024 y una carrera corta. Ponete a ver carreras de la epoca y ver como llega el primero 1 minuto antes a veces 😂 o mas de la mitad de la parrilla terminaba una o dos vueltas por detras.
@@johnchurch5101y porque no manejas en la F1? 😂 te quiero ver con autos de 5 metros , 2 de ancho y con 1000 caballos , sin ayudas y por Mónaco 70 vueltas...😂 jaja te quiero ver a 280 km entre los muros de baku. No tenes idea el nivel del 90% de los pilotos de F1. Claro porque para vos es lo mismo doblar a 150 km en los años 60 ,que doblar a 270 km en 2024...claro igualito el grado de perfección que hay que tener.
Viewed from the front when racing, with the driver so big and the car so small, just a pod hanging between big wheels, they look like highly souped-up go carts -- with V12 and V8 engines of only 1.5 liters! I was in high school during this time, and I thought Formula One was so exciting with such powerful cars. I wonder if driving these old cars might not be more fun (albeit slower) than driving modern Formula cars. It's conquering each corner at the highest possible speed (for the car) that makes racing exciting.
None of the whining drivers of today’s formula one would accept to race with these sort of rockets filled with petrol. At the same time this is a shame for formula one (today’s show is boring and a little bit too redundant) and an advantage in terms of safety. Because no one of us would accept a tenth of dead or injuried drivers every year. So blessed these races.
Er, Um... it's a flat 12....In '65 Ferrari raced V8, V6 and flat 12 engines. Imagine such freedom today. It's almost like people were ALLOWED to enjoy themselves back then, isn't it? Ah, all before the crackpot social experimentation came along and swept common sense away. I remember it well.

Gearing mistakes were made on #13 Ferrari IMHO.
Are these cars restriced in any way by the regulations ? Air intake, fuel, engine revs, other ?
They all conform to F1 regulations from 1961-65.
