- Walking in any direction i fancied today. I ended up walking through Whinlatter Pass and down towards Crummock water leading to Buttermere where i ended up getting the bus back to Bassenthwaite to head home. Hope you enjoyed this silent video.
Thank you for a lovely walk 😊👍🗿🦖🦤🦑🦫😻🏴
Thank you for joining me :)
Oh that’s so peaceful love. Thanks for sharing. Helped clear my mind this morning just watching.❤️
I really needed this today. My sister is recovering from spine surgery and we had to go to the ER for a UTI and more meds today. Very stressful. Peace has been a commodity recently. This was priceless. Thank you so much for sharing.
That precious shot of a bumble bee when you left the camera to film you walking away ❤ what joy.
"How nice to be in England,
now that England's here.
I stand upright in my wheelbarrow
and pretend I'm Bodicea."
Vivian Stanshall - Sir Henry at Rawlinson's End.
Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing journey.
Wow! What an incredible, beautiful walk that was. That looks like the best medicine ever. Hope it helped to clear your mind. Thank you very much for sharing it. It sure made my day better. Very cool stuff!
What a beautifully shot video, so serene. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this. I've never seen the slower parts of England. It's beautiful! 🥰
an excellent video. you show us a part of the world not often seen.quite beautiful.thank you.
I appreciate the work you put into this. Your set-up shots were excellent. Well done and thanks for the walk!
Thanks Jennifer happy you enjoyed it!
Absolutely LOVE your content! I feel your genuine passion for the outdoors.
Also very beautiful scenery!
Thank you Evan, i needed this walk. Mind gets too busy sometimes and this just helps me reset.
@@jackasnacks I know just how you feel
I didn't realize how badly I needed to see real trees, bushes with long flowers, wild grasses, beautiful flowers, buzzing bees, the wind whipping the roadside plants, water running over the rocks and under bridges, expansive green fields and rolling mountains.
It looks so peaceful! After living in the desert as long as I have ... well you tend to forget all that "green, wet" beauty is out there . Thanks for all the different camera angles, I tried to keep track of how many times you walked past the camera ... I lost track! It was a bunch though, so thank you for bring us along.
Not a problem Anita, i sometimes overdo it with the amount of filming i do but there are so many opportunities to caputre something worthwhile when doing a country lane walk like this one. Lots of quirks along the way that i know would hold value for people to see! I also like looking back at them from the perspective of the camera too. Seeing it from the view of the plants is nice to see :)
Jack I have been watching your videos from day one you have a great deal of love for the environment and out doors, in to days video you said no words I could tell that your mind needed clearing what better way for a walk in outdoors I have been doing this for many years,,,,,all your videos are great
What a lovely walk, rarely see green ferns down my way. You could see the smile emerge as your mind cleared. Thanks for taking us with you
Good luck from Spain!!
Haha yes i started realising things are good when a little lamb came right up to me which has never happened before. Usually very sheepish!
@@jackasnacks .. he couldn't believe you still had your boots on ...
Nice way to wake up, thanks
Great way to start the day, i hope it motivates you to go on an adventure :)
Thanks for sharing! It was so beautiful and refreshing. It is so hot and dry where I am that it was so good to see all the greens, flowers and water. It sure made me happy
Glad you enjoyed it Mike. Not very often i don't get rained on over here haha
Gorgeous landscapes and excellent video making skills with your many moving shots and perspectives professionally edited together 🙂

A cup of coffee and a new video, not a bad start to the day.
Lovely lude, cheers! Hope it inspires you to have a wonder somewhere yourself.
Beautiful, thanks for taking us along with you!
Lovely. A walk like this would be great as a POV video like Rambalac does.
Loved this walk... silent too.. brilliant.. one of my fave places in the Lakes too. I would love to live in Buttermere or v close to it! thx Jack from Ontario Canada.. ( ex pat)
The video on my phone was totally messed up but it looked like a good video to see and beautiful , take care Jack.
Check you out next time.
Ee, how amazin' tha med that film all by thee sen just on ya' day! Well done!
That is a brilliant work of art!
Looks like you put some serious miles in there mate - respect ✊
Fab video as always
Jenna I am searching through my comments for a place you recommended to me ages ago where you could walk through the river and lots of little waterfalls along the way do you remember what the name was?
@@jackasnacks so it’s the river sprint in longsleddale valley. Park at sadgill. You can stay on the gatesgarth pass and it takes you all the way to haweswater if you fancied a hike. As you head along valley you will see the river to your left. There’s a footpath off the pass that takes you to the river. It’s lovely .
Ps Perseid meteor shower tonight peaks at 11pm to 5am. Good to watch especially in Cumbria with less light pollution
Love the music really suited the video. Can I ask the name of it ?
Yeah of course Badger, all 3 songs are by an artist called Gavin Luke, the names of which are Summer Memories, Nadir and Impressions Of You. He has a nice album of small notes like these 3.
Sick vid Lad
That was nice Jack! Feel better?
Yes i had a very good sleep after this big walk :) It was 10 miles which i didn't mention in the video
@@jackasnacks walking always makes me feel better..good night
Walk the El Camino de Santiago!
It would be a grand adventure for you and a friend whilst enabling brilliant content. You’ll become a Pilgrim before our eyes.
Not if you value your life!
@@hattyburrow716
Oh Hattie, it’s a walk in the park luv.
I have just Googled it, looks lovely! Also the Brits love a bit of Spain don't they haha can't go wrong!
@@jackasnacks
Jack - There is a very nice movie entitled The Way that showcases the Camino. Highly recommended.
There is a film called "The Way" (2010) starring Martin Sheen. The guy's son dies so he walks the Camino cos his son was going to do it, he meets some interesting characters along the way.
I’m not sure it’d clear my mind if I had to set up the camera then walk away to get the shot and walk back for the camera again. Then repeat the process many times. It’d stress me out more I think!
the weir #notbill @ 6:58 , is that the bottom end of crummock water?
It is Rob yeah, right before Buttermere village. I got the bus back to Braethwaite from Buttermere afterwards was a good bus ride :)
@@jackasnacks Nice, was down there on Monday myself ;)
Gave up on minimal footwear?
Forgot to take them off when i got out the car :D
@@jackasnacks Barefoot is for the animals. Look into the Be Lenka Barefoot, Vibram products, or something similar, if youre still interested in that route. The Be Lenka has only a 4mm sole. There are more and more options available in the "barefoot hiker" category every year now. Be well.
Great little vlog but personal preference I'd rather listen to you orate. Personal choice.
Wondering up the lakes with a friend tomorrow so will be a video with more banter next cheers Chris
@@jackasnacks look forward to it.
