    🎥 You've been staffed internally on a knowledge development project with the head of the firm's business technology practice to investigate the proliferation of ransomware attacks and their impact on the business community in the US. Although ransomware has existed for decades the programs have become increasingly advanced and the incidence rate has recently skyrocketed.     8:15 I don't get what this has to do with not-paying. I understand that you would potentially have to hire someone who tries to resolve the current attack, but it does not matter if you pay or not pay, if you are susceptible to attacks you have to invest in your info sec.

    I believe there is something wrong with the calculation of incorporating the 25% value. Why is the revenue loss due to these 25% of devices still unreleased not included? This should be included as these 25% devices are essentially in the "not paying" scenario. The total extra cost should then be 60k + 140k x25%= 95k which id significantly higher. The interviewer should have caught this
