Flex Paste is now available in a caulk tube, which makes it a little easier to reuse. I kinda think some of their product line is a little gimmicky, but the paste seems decent (I think it is actually Chemlink M1).
If you ever do this again, I'd be curious to see how a polyurethane caulk would hold up. Maybe on a bigger, shot out center, too. Thanks.

Kudos for this, my range got some knock down green targets to use indoor during the winter, using only 22lr LRN developed holes where ever reached 100 hits/sq in, which with 8 shooters shooting 12 frames, so each target got 100 hits/match took about 5 matches to reach multiple 1 in holes in each. tried multiple things to patch the holes, nothing worked beyond 20 more hits in that hole, JB weld applied best as it was the only one that didn't air cure so could use full 1/2 inch depth, however it hardened(used the plastic style thinking it would stay pliable) and broke into gravel when hit, Flex seal liquid next easy to 'paint' on but didn't heal new punctures so next shot would go through easily, same with the paste(it did hold together in big holes but not any better with repeated hits) Caulk and liquid nails same thing just not any healing so new hits go right through. my nest attempt will be to use 'holey' target as base and glue? new smaller target in front(if behind the force ripped it off the base)..on your type of target I think making 1 or 2 sq in replacement patches would work, cut out the square, glue the edges and tape in front, behind(the flex seal liquid might work well )

What did you use as the backer when resealing?
