For some reason, I'm offended that P1 keeps getting more points than P2, despite doing much worse. And when P1 really messes up, the consequence is much softer than what P2 gets when they do okay, which is a loss of hundreds of points. Help me, I've started to care about equal rights for computers.
Here's a few quick examples. To be honest, most of the problems started popping up in Hair Scare, but I don't have the time to pinpoint where I really noticed it. Each timestamp only refers to 1 turn for each player, and not the entire round. 26:32 P1 manages to lower their opponents score with this 27:50 P1 is doing the bare minimum and is off-key, but gets around 300 points. P2 is more accurate and adds an additional input that matches the rhythm, but is only rewarded 98 points. 28:11 P1 doesn't follow the proper pattern and presses the same thing over and over again instead... and takes 300 points away from P2. 48:00 Something similar to the 2 examples above also happens here. P1 spams the same button over specific inputs and is gifted 230 points. P2 loses points for just doing what they're supposed to do. 51:36 at least it lives up to the name of the stream. 53:20 Keep in mind this is just something that I noticed while watching the video. I have no idea how the game determines what is acceptable when it comes to adding your own style. You're bound to know this subject a million times better than I will. The 'problem' may just be because it's vs. mode with a computer, so the only human player is given an advantage at the fear that a CPU might do better, and when it's 2 human players against each other, things are treated fairly. I also noticed that whatever P1 freestyles is carried over for P2 to have to outdo, which might be another reason for the unbalanced fight.
