I just tried on the Infinity React 3 and I am pleased to report that they fixed the ridiculous high arch from the Infinity React 2.
Should i buy react 3 or react2
@@hieulequang2918 React 2 has a very high arch. Some people are OK with it, it was unwearable for me. React 3 the arch is more smooth and wearable. Otherwise it's the same shoe. If the arch is not a problem, I would just get React 2. There's a ton at Nike outlet for $100.
great comment. this is why you have to try them on at the store. the 2s had too much arch flare for me but the 3s felt much flatter. just bought the all black for work. might try cutting out part of the insole if it digs in. i had some kd15s that really dug into my left foot and i cut some insole out and they are butter now. popped the zoom stroble in the heel too cuz it was too springy. sometimes a little bit of altering can fix the feel of a shoe. but ya you always wanna try them on at the store first.
I have plantar facitis i need high midsole and a bit heel cushioning. Is this good for me? Should i pick v2 or v3? I will use in slow runs, daily wear and maybe fitness. Not a serious runner.

I still call them Epic Reacts, I love the model but I noticed on the Infinity React 2s that for some reason it really messes with my plantar fasciitis, they are really too tight in the arch area which causes it to flare up on me. That never happened with the original Epic Reacts. I'm glad they went with a larger tongue on this update since the tongue on the 2s imo was too small, I actually tore the tongue on one of my pairs when i tried to pull the tongue up. I hate that they went with the toggle laces on these though, I have a pair of the Undercover Zoom Turbos and that had the toggle system and the toggle would always slide up and cause the laces to loosen, i eventually cut the laces and put in some paracord and i'm using that like regular laces.
the toggle system is an option. u can get standard laces on the shoe. also, is seems for regular release all models are going to have standard laces.
The arch is very high and too tight

I’m still wearing the epic react V1 nice and wide, The new style is to tight.
These turned out nicely. The fact the main parts are black-and-white is a good contrast to the iridescent parts - makes them pop more without the shoes being ‘too much’
I've done about 800kms on my react 2.0s. Fatter tounge on 3.0s hopefully means it's not gonna rip (mine ripped the first month). Breathability wise its too thin on the 2.0s; one puddle or a few meters in morning dew and I've got wet socks for the rest of the run. Excited for the laces I tend to relace during the break to loosen or tighten. Mad color way. Also thanks for the tip about the invisibles kinda looking around for an upgrade for a daily! Looks like a toss up between the two or if anyone can recommend another brand/model (5km daily atm)

Only thing I am annoyed about it how they went away from a detached tongue a while back now I think. Would have preferred them to keep it on. That was one of the reasons why I loved my pairs of epic react flyknit 2s.

I wore the previous Nike infinity react they were very soft underfoot how they did not have as much stability as my Brooks glycerine 19s I can't wait to try the new reacts

I tried a size 11US on at Sportchek before I made my id custom order in size 11US. They show up a month later and they are too small. This is the second time I have ordered custom id shoes and they fit tighter than the large production runs of the same shoe

The V2s are available at Factory Stores for $68 with the 20% discount they run many weekends. I have a pair of the Cool Grey V2s that I just bought. Love them.
$180 to me is a tough sell for the V3 with the Invincibles out there for same, and that's more than I paid for a pair of Alphaflys at 40% off to use as a speed work trainer.
Like the new upper choices, save for that huge tongue that's *nothing* like the small one on the V2.

True to size?
I have 9 pairs of the 3 gens. 1 of the first one, 4 fk2 and 4 fk3. First gen wasn't good, just ok; 2nd was a huge leap forward & 3rd was a small improvement but not directly noticeable to me. Tldr, the 2nd is better if cheaper. Also, I got 3 pairs of the 3 for $80 totap and 3 of the 2 for under $70.
Do you know how to make the tongue stop sticking up on the FK3? I can't seem to tie them high enough to get a snug fit
Nike, when you need a shoe that lasts a full 4 months
Love the first and second version of this shoe, however, that tongue is awful. Way too high/tall.
on the 2nd version I actually had the tongue tear on me when i tried to pull it up a bit, the tounge is just too low on them and when laced up all the way the laces almost go over the top of the tongue. I tired returning them to Dick's Sporting goods but they wouldn't take them sionce they said it was a factory defect. And Nike wanted to charge me for shipping to send them back to Nike.

i almost copied this colorway but just sent them back after 3 months. the iridescent came off and looked terrible. ill re ordered but the all black for $99. they arent worth the retail price.
Did you ever have any arch issues with any of the infinity reacts?
Yes
YES, I just got done commenting that, they are way to tight in the arch and I'fd get a stabbing pain in my arch once in a while, which never happened with the original Epic Reacts. I have the Infinity React 2s, 2 pairs and I love the cushioning but I can only wear them once in a while because eventually my arch will start hurting.
Yeah, they're not great for flat feet, though there are some workarounds.
New traction for a couple OUNCES? Maybe a couple of grams. It’s a no for me. Heel clip that surrounds the shoe also bites my foot.
Just walking and jogging, I feel no difference in the v2 and v3. Plus, I'm a heavy guy. I have flat feet but bc I have hi volume feet, it works well since that negative space is filled by the top of my foot. If you have a flat and narrow foot, this might be a problem.
I wish the laces weren't so skinny and the area where the tongue is, is to narrow.. I prefer it to be wider so u can see more of laces and tongue.. that's the only thing I would do differently.

The React Miler 3 has the "Storm tread". Like fit. ANd for my own odd reason having a black tread matters to me....more a "performance-lifestyle" shoe guy. I'm not a runner. Do the odd sprints with my dog. So I bought the Miler 3. Was looking at the Peg 38 but didn't like most of the colour ways. Also matters a lot for me Was about to do a "made by You" Peg 38....never got around to it...like the colour way available on a standard Miler 3 so I bought one. ANd the tread...like it more than the black treads available for the Peg 38...odd since you rarely see the tread (unless you're walking behind the one wearing).
Odd Nike is the only company offering "Made by You" shoes. Not Sacony or New Balance. Not Asics.
Asics Velocity Nitro 2....odd naming for their colour way "Tizzy /blue"....looks like a white upper and a silver Puma "swoosh". Almost ordered one. But don't want to get it and besurprise to see the colour isnt as is in photos. and UA-cam review videos.

Nike react is a big stinker for me. Don’t like the look enough at buy and there’s way more other brands out doing them in the comfort department. I’m holding out for a new version of react. However I kinda like the epic Miller 3’s looks wise but I need another color to bite. Check em out he’s… there’s red black and a white w light blue n yellow mix.
