- Charlie Garner and the Raiders host Trent Green and the Chiefs in the 2002 season finale at a rain soaked Oakland Coliseum as the Raiders, who already clinched the AFC West last week vs the Broncos, can clinch home field advantage through out the playoffs.
21:05 Crazy amount of water on the field. Thanks RC!
What a dominant performance against The Chiefs, this should’ve the game plan against the Bucs in SB 37 … if Cally keeps it honest and doesn’t throw the game for his Buddy Gruden.
Rod Woodson, no gloves in the rain. Beast!

BACK IN THE DAY FANS WERE BRUTAL TO OUR RIVALS AND I LOVED IT FEEL IN LOVE!!! CHARLIE GARNER RAN ON THESE WACK ASS CHIEFS!!! ILL NEVER FORGET LOVE YOU BROTHER…
Yo I went to this game for my 9th birthday with my dad, by best friend, and his dad. My dad worked for the Raiders at the time, so we had club seats. I remember the stairs back up to our seats were literally waterfalls and our feet were in about 2-3 inches of water while we sat. Amazing game.
Charlie Garner 2002
1900 yards from scrimmage at 7.0 yards per touch & 11 TDs. The few guys ahead of him had 100 - 180 more touches. Charlie is one of the best of all time. It's a shame his coaches didnt use him properly for most of his career.
I was at this game with my dad when I was 13. It was dumping. My dad didnt buy tickets because he just planned on getting them from a scalper. The first scalper we got them from gave us 1 good ticket and 1 ticket that was for the college basketball game next door so we had to run him down and get our money back. Finally we got 2 tickets from a dude at like half-time. Glad I found this game. Great memories in Oakland.
(RIP) RAIDERS 80 SOMETHING YEARS OLD WATER BOY RUN RUN JONES....RN4L#
RAIDERS RB ROOM WAS DEEP & GREAT WITH CHARLIE GARNER, TYRONE WHEATLEY, ZACK CROCKETT, RANDY JORDAN, &, TERRY KIRBY WITH FB JON RITCHIE
The only thing I disliked about this game was the fact that Tim Brown finished that season I believe like 40 yards shy of 1000. He could have gotten that in like 2-3 receptions to keep his career streak of 1000 yard seasons going, instead they just played ball control. I know they wanted the win but they dominated so much they could have at least got that for him.
I remember this game, the water park game.
too bad football doesnt have mud rain games like this anymore
I was there
Great memories
Any 2007 Games or 2008? Please ?
