Always amazes me the amount of police are available to help other police officers but very rarely available when the public need them. The whole force needs scrapping and starting again.
All of our cars are captured on CCTV hundreds of times during even a journey of 10-20 miles, take a quick trip to a supermarket, do some shopping, get petrol, so the "filming our cars" is a load of s***!

If they're not in uniform and claim to be a police constable they have a LEGAL obligation to produce their warrant card for inspection to the citizen they are interacting with, when asked. No ifs no buts. It's a disciplinary offence if they do not produce.

The level of paranoia is actually quite interesting. They appear to be paranoid of being attacked by someone. Clearly they have assumed a them and us attitude, especially while they are in their high security safe house. It is something akin to churches that once welcomed people in through unlocked doors, in that police stations were once open to the public for them to come in and request the services of the police. Nowadays, churches are locked up and police stations locked up, unless it is a big enough station with a front desk. Something has to change for the better for the sake of the police and the citizenry.
They're not paranoid they're forcing their presumed powers as police officers on to law abiding members of the public for daring to defy their orders. They're suffering from a severe case of egomania, not paranoia.
It will when people stop using the police , system and organise their own prosecutions for crimes through common law agencies, that present their cases to the CPS. Oh come on, as if we live in Trumpton- a man standing outside a police station, filming officers arriving at work in their private cars is very dubious. They are obviously concerned for their safety, they surely are wondering if they are being filmed so that they can be targeted for harassment or violence by criminals. You are aware, surely, that there are lots of violent offenders in society, organised crime too- they don't all fear the police and many would happily target them with intimidation or violence. The video has been made with antagonism in mind, as contemptible as that is it isn't a big deal, but the officers aren't to know it is so trivial in intent, and indeed the uploader of this video has left their numberplates on show for all to see so the consequences could be very serious. You talk of a them and us attitude- that's a sick joke to me, though I don't doubt you believe it. This video was not made in a good spirit at all. There is no empathy for his fellow citizens, countrymen, humans (the police officers are all of these things), just a blinkered and misguided view of the situation. They must have big gates, locks , key pads ...an ordinary citizen cannot afford that and they park their cars FREE ...that should be a Benefit in Kind and taxable ...ask HMRC

Sergeant Matt Ratana was only shot due to inadequate policing. How the suspect got a gun into the custody suite and managed to fire it still amazes me.
That's what I was thinking. Lax security was what led to that tragedy, not some widespread campaign to attack the police. Very sad what happened to Sgt Ratana, but his death should not be used as a pretext to increase police powers without good cause.

I see that they want to surround the subject quite often. What if you start circling away? 4. If an officer behaves bad, I'm sure you don't need to address them more than a "man" or a "woman". Not officers, not Madams, not Sirs. Maybe call them blokes or chicks or just by their collar number like "this 2345 number here..." 5. If the police is the only party in contact with you, then can you call them idiots? You cannot call a civilian that, but isn't it so that an officer cannot be the one complaining about someone being disorderly? After all, in these situations, there should be mutual respect but it is very often that I see PCs and PCSOs ram into the situation thinking they are next to God himself. If they won't respect you, why should you respect them? Sorry, way too many questions.
All interactions with the police take on a psychological aspect, they're trained in it, once you know the rules you can play their game back to them (or with them). And no form of address whether rank or gender ,is necessary,the general term "constable" will suffice.

Commendable interaction between yourself and the (final) officer with whom you spoke. This is the sort of interaction we would like to see, and his comment that it's imperative for officers to engage with vlogers in order to establish their intentions/motives is perfectly valid. However, the interaction which took place BEFORE he came forward was the epitome of the kind of interaction which does the police extreme harm and accentuates the 'divide' which exists and continues to grow. The piece of road directly in front of gate if maintained by the council via road taxes is not private property, private owned sections of road are actually rare.
It only struck me the other day that the reason gates are set back from properties (not just police stations) is so that vehicular traffic doesn't have to stop on the road or across the footpath whilst the gate is being opened (in the old days there weren't even swipe cards). Not that it matters but technically in this case it's probably part of the police station and I couldn't imagine the council doing any maintenance as they don't even particularly worry about real roads.

New sub here, just found this channel - enjoyed your dialogue with the last officer, a lot of commonsense there. When they try and raise the 'problem' of you filming private cars then suggest that if they are so paranoid about their PUBLIC plates being filmed in PUBLIC then perhaps they should get the bus to work, or in Croydon the tram, or even cancel their gym description and ride a bike to work. Stay safe man, will look at some of your other content with great interest.
The plates are owned by the DVLA for public display and anyone can legally record them from a public place members of the public cannot obtain personal details from those plates only the police and the DVLA can do that
The priority of the maker of this video is wrong. He is there to antagonise and intimidate police officers. It's immigration legislation. It applies to immigrants being held in custody prior to deportation or obtaining legal entry to UK. It doesn't apply to UK citizens/subjects in a public space.

The next time a fuzz demands ID say some thing like: "I'm sorry officer but I handed in my State issued ID card in 1952, the last time a UK citizen was required to produce ID on demand to a police officer."

Why didn't you inform this officer that the dvla own the number plates on private cars, and will only give the details of the owner to the police when they're doing a pnc check. They would never give it to any members of the public.

If they're not in uniform and claim to be a police constable they have a LEGAL obligation to produce their warrant card for inspection to the citizen they are interacting with, when asked. No ifs no buts. It's a disciplinary offence if they do not produce.

The level of paranoia is actually quite interesting.
They appear to be paranoid of being attacked by someone. Clearly they have assumed a them and us attitude, especially while they are in their high security safe house.
It is something akin to churches that once welcomed people in through unlocked doors, in that police stations were once open to the public for them to come in and request the services of the police.

Oh come on, as if we live in Trumpton- a man standing outside a police station, filming officers arriving at work in their private cars is very dubious. They are obviously concerned for their safety, they surely are wondering if they are being filmed so that they can be targeted for harassment or violence by criminals. You are aware, surely, that there are lots of violent offenders in society, organised crime too- they don't all fear the police and many would happily target them with intimidation or violence. 2. I see the officers like to get very close to an auditor so what if you go close to them the same way? And when they ask you why you come close, you can say: "I'm making sure to catch your offense" or "you came to me so if you do it, why not me?"
3. I see that they want to surround the subject quite often. What if you start circling away?
4. If an officer behaves bad, I'm sure you don't need to address them more than a "man" or a "woman". Not officers, not Madams, not Sirs. Maybe call them blokes or chicks or just by their collar number like "this 2345 number here..."
5. If the police is the only party in contact with you, then can you call them idiots? You cannot call a civilian that, but isn't it so that an officer cannot be the one complaining about someone being disorderly?
After all, in these situations, there should be mutual respect but it is very often that I see PCs and PCSOs ram into the situation thinking they are next to God himself. If they won't respect you, why should you respect them?

This is the sort of interaction we would like to see, and his comment that it's imperative for officers to engage with vlogers in order to establish their intentions/motives is perfectly valid. However, the interaction which took place BEFORE he came forward was the epitome of the kind of interaction which does the police extreme harm and accentuates the 'divide' which exists and continues to grow. It only struck me the other day that the reason gates are set back from properties (not just police stations) is so that vehicular traffic doesn't have to stop on the road or across the footpath whilst the gate is being opened (in the old days there weren't even swipe cards). Not that it matters but technically in this case it's probably part of the police station and I couldn't imagine the council doing any maintenance as they don't even particularly worry about real roads.

When they try and raise the 'problem' of you filming private cars then suggest that if they are so paranoid about their PUBLIC plates being filmed in PUBLIC then perhaps they should get the bus to work, or in Croydon the tram, or even cancel their gym description and ride a bike to work. The plates are owned by the DVLA for public display and anyone can legally record them from a public place members of the public cannot obtain personal details from those plates only the police and the DVLA can do that

You SIR have just got my vote, liked and subbed :) I have only recently taken an interest in these audits after stumbling across AB. I have watched many many vids and find them interesting and amusing but mostly disturbing in so much as Our country has come to this. There is such a disconnect between them and us. I served My country and fought for peoples rights. I am ashamed of some of these so called police officers. Good luck in all your endeavors and just remember how we previously delt with Nazi`s "Dont tell em PIKE!" :)

I hope that afterwards he felt suitably guilty about lying about Section 119 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 which actually defines the Offence of causing nuisance or disturbance on NHS premises and doesn't mention Police premises.
By lying he committed an offence under S26 Corrupt or other improper exercise of police powers and privileges
(1)A police constable listed in subsection (3) commits an offence if he or she-
(a) exercises the powers and privileges of a constable improperly, and
(b) knows or ought to know that the exercise is improper.
(2) A police constable guilty of an offence under this section is liable, on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 14 years or a fine (or both).
(3)The police constables referred to in subsection (1) are-
(a) a constable of a police force in England and Wales;
(b) a special constable for a police area in England and Wales;
(c) a constable or special constable of the British Transport Police Force;
(d) a constable of the Civil Nuclear Constabulary;
(e) a constable of the Ministry of Defence Police;
(f) a National Crime Agency officer designated under section 9 or 10 of the Crime and Courts Act 2013 as having the powers and privileges of a constable.
(4) For the purposes of this section, a police constable exercises the powers and privileges of a constable improperly if-
(a) he or she exercises a power or privilege of a constable for the purpose of achieving-
(i) a benefit for himself or herself, or
(ii) a benefit or a detriment for another person, and
(b) a reasonable person would not expect the power or privilege to be exercised for the purpose of achieving that benefit or detriment.
(5) For the purposes of this section, a police constable is to be treated as exercising the powers and privileges of a constable improperly in the cases described in subsections (6) and (7).
(6)The first case is where-
(a) the police constable fails to exercise a power or privilege of a constable,
(b) the purpose of the failure is to achieve a benefit or detriment described in subsection (4)(a), and
(c) a reasonable person would not expect a constable to fail to exercise the power or privilege for the purpose of achieving that benefit or detriment.
(7)The second case is where-
(a) the police constable threatens to exercise, or not to exercise, a power or privilege of a constable,
(b) the threat is made for the purpose of achieving a benefit or detriment described in subsection (4) (a), and
(c) a reasonable person would not expect a constable to threaten to exercise, or not to exercise, the power or privilege for the purpose of achieving that benefit or detriment.

A simple cover over the key pad is all that is needed.It's standard at so many premises.

Well done. I enjoyed the way that they tried to make filming the keypad into some sort of unlawful activity, but enjoyed you tearing them apart even more. They must have been so disappointed that their gang attack did not work.
The next time a fuzz demands ID say some thing like:
"I'm sorry officer but I handed in my State issued ID card in 1952, the last time a UK citizen was required to produce ID on demand to a police officer."

@@toplodornottoplod omg, when are you going to remember to stop calling them sir or madam, but by their rank eg constable, sergeant etc. No police station is private property as it,s always been paid for by the hardworking taxpayers. Along with their wages, pensions, the uniforms they wear, the cars and Van's they drive and any weapons they use. So the people living in the houses opposite have to close their curtains or blinds everytime police vehicles or their private cars are entering or leaving the car park?
Why didn't you inform this officer that the dvla own the number plates on private cars, and will only give the details of the owner to the police when they're doing a pnc check. They would never give it to any members of the public.

Constable Evans comes in heavy trying his best but it did not work! but soon realised you know the law and your rights and backed right down. At the start, I really thought I was watching "Carry On Constable" or "The Keystone Cops" absolutely hilarious! how many did it take to deal with one man and a camera! Are we paying for this? Well handled young man, it’s easy for people to comment you should have done this…you should have done that etc because it’s easy to sit in the comfort of your home and watch others putting themselves out there in what is potentially harms way. For my pennies worth you handled yourself perfectly, you were erudite, polite and non confrontational nor rude. You stood your ground well and I give you 10/10 the final policeman I’d give 8/10 and the rest of them I’d sack.
