I'd be interested to know how the glazer would go with a 2+1 set up. I don't believe the Machado fins are the only thing you can use. My go fish for instance surf's so much better with T1's than keels as the board is meant to be ridden with.
Love seeing guys on the east coast review boards. Really great review. It's funny to see people talk about the fins for Machado boards, because fins can be such a subjective topic. However, one thing I've realized with all of the Machado shapes I've owned and from what friends and reviews have found is how much better these boards go with the Machado designed fins.
This board was perfect for me, went from learning on a 6’6 puddle jumper to a 6’0 seaside then scored one of these. On those perfect days it’s a dream, for my first real short board I think I made the right choice.
That is what Jason thought as well, though he had just been riding a seaside so that's a tough standard for comparison. It can grovel if you are looking for a one board travel quiver, but if you're buying a specific groveler there are other options
I just bought one today and it grovels amazing.... I had the glazer machado keel fins in it also surfed it shin to knee high and it was much faster then the puddle fish and ultra joe... He mentions he didn’t have those fins in the smaller waves maybe that was the difference
Great to hear an honest, practical review
Strengths and weaknesses. Conditions it is suited for

So expensive tho 😞
solid review, good to see you guys again, the DVD video is classic
Sounds about right. Rob test most of his boards here in Cardiff and Seaside. Everyday type stuff.
Thanks great review can you please do the sci fi 2.0?
