I'm playing a drinking game. Every time a photo is shown that has nothing to do with the narrative, I take a drink. Cheers!
Hahahahaha!!!
I guess you were drunk long before the video ended then 🙂
@@jakeleblanc boy howdy I wuz!
Why would they show Fess Parker in Old Yeller while talking about Conners?
@@bfktwb4 I know! Right? Maybe the producer let A.I. take the wheel 😆
Who ever narrated this doesn't know how to pronounce names
Liked watching The Rifleman movies back in the day. Call me old school.
It wasn't a "movie", it was a TV show. The computer generated voice used for this mini-documentary mis-stated a bunch of things and I found to be very annoying.
OK, I see what your saying. You're right.
I loved the Rifleman. Chuck was so handsome. RIP
The narrator keeps referring to his early baseball prowess, while the video continually shows basketball footage. Who edits this stuff?
Very annoying indeed !!!
I'm a hundred and seven, and I loved this video. I never once got to meet Brezhnev, but it is gratifying to know the communist leader could appreciate a right wing actor and be friends with him and invite him to Moscow. It goes to show you that if you have a good TV show that's about a rifleman, the communists might like you and invite to Moscow. Maybe this friendship helped the thaw in U.S. -CCCP relations under the administrartion of Connors' friend Ronald Reagan.
My goodness are you really 107 yrs old? Tell me the secret to a long life? Congratulations and may God bless you!!
My goodness are you really 107 yrs old? Please tell me the secret to life! Congratulations and may God bless you!!
@@ELucas-ip4bv I’m so sorry, I was just being very silly! I don’t know why I attempted such an unfunny joke! I hope your blessing still stands and may the same blessing apply to you!! I’m so sorry about my silly comment!
But I did mean it about the impact on Soviet-U.S. relations!
One of the greatest. I'd rather watch shows like this as well as others is because they dont have cussing and sex.❤
His Winchester didn't hold as many rounds as shown in the opening scene. They added 1 more round to sequence better with the opening music.
He had one in the chamber...
Every one is just gonna act like the man in the thumbnail isn’t criminally insane! LMAO
Wow!. I'm glad to hear Chuck Conners was a good strong Republican! We need more men like him. I grew up watching the Rifleman. What a great western it was.
Yeah...good ol' white, non-intellectual tough guys.
Amen!!
Alot of miss information.
Amazing how Chuck looked like a spitting image of his father.
LOL,,,,
The narrator needs to be able to read names correctly!
Looks like the baby got the looks of it's daddy: 1:12 Two dozen, (that would be 24+) 'university scholarship offers kept pouring in for Connor.
Conners continued to live in Bear Valley, CA where on this 70th birthday he was entertained by a stripper arranged by Mark and Brian, when the two were the drive time DJ's at KLOS in LA. They did it on air and it was hilarious.
M and B actually hated one another?
Great info 👍 I love Chuck and the Rifleman. Can you believe Mark and Brian have been gone for 12 + years. Never thought I'd say this; The good Old Days!!!!!!
He looks that way because he smoked for decades, and that’s what happens when you age if you smoke
Worst narration I've ever heard - and most of the time, the pictures don't even relate to what's being talked about / sad - and - - - - IT'S NOT A MOVIE - gawd !
I loved him, but I hate AI reading the story. I won’t be following this channel.
Loved Chuck Connors in his role as, Buck, in The Big Country! One of is best performances! As a boy, I never missed the original airings of the "Rifleman". That fast-action Winchester was the greatest!!
There isn't a pinch of salt big enough to make this shit good...
"on Oct 10th 1942 America joined world war 2"

If you smoke... quit! If you vape... stop deceiving yourself and quit that too. There is nothing good about either unless you are selling that 💩
I wanted to walk down my street in the 1970s pumping a Winchester 45 rifle like Chuck Connors. Things are a lot different now.
As much as I love Connors and The Rifleman, this is absolutely the worst written, edited and narrated short biography I have ever heard. I had to stop halfway through because the unprofessional quality of every aspect was too distracting. Connors deserves better
Loved the rifle man. Quite a life of this man. Died of lung Cancer at 71 in 1992. Chuck loved Lucky Strikes.
Thats why I don't smoke anymore
not as smart as he portrayed...all acting
26:08 It was Connors who lifted Brezhnev, and not vice versa! Please get your facts straight.
The rifleman was a television show,,,NOT AMOVIE!!!!!
This was interesting, however, not sure about the narration? Kept calling the TV series a movie, plus other minor mistakes make me think an AI reading? Also, the "cover" photo was pure clickbait!
