My nissan tire almost didn’t make it out alive tonight until I saw this video so it gets to live another day, thank you good sir for quick and to the point information👏👏
Awesome, dude! Videos covering the same step show how the guys are struggling to put the tire back around the rim with screwdrivers and crowbars :). One of them even used small G-clamps and moved them repeatedly toward the loose end while at the same time using a screwdriver trying to shoehorn the tire :).
Excellent!!! I was struggling for 30 minutes with the tire before looking and finding your video, 30 seconds later, the outside bead of the tire is ON! No tools, no nothing except following your instructions seat the bead into the wheels deep section (I used the valve side to hold the valve in place) and push the remaining bead around the rim and on! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Yes! Needlessly long videos drive me nuts. That's why I created the worlds shortest how to video on reseting the prius oil reminder and videos like this.
I so feel your frustration. When I finally figured it out I knew I had to share it. I took the wheel back off so I could make the video. 😆 I’m really glad it helped. Thanks for letting me know. Making this video was worth it now.
Life saver! I struggled to get that dang tire on for a few minutes. UA-cam searched and your video came up. Direction worked like a charm. Thanks again
Thank you, Brother. I was on the right track but couldn't quite get the tire on, even prying with a tire tool. Your video showed me that I needed to get the tire all the way down in that deep part of the rim and it went right on.
Thank you. I was struggling with a really stiff (outer) tire. The trick is to mount it on the axle - if you don't mount it, the rim wanders away; you need to hold the rim in place in order to push the tire over it.
Also a little tip I did so the nozzle doesn’t fall through is be mindful of it but I did poke a safety pin with string through an old cap just in case because the first time it went through
I used a big quick clamp bar clamp to hold one edge under the rim on a tough tire as it rested on my axil. Then I used a medium screwdriver to work the edge around under the rest of the rim. Only way I could get the tough tire on.
I don’t know maybe I just didn’t have it down deep enough but I was trying to do that myself. I’ll give it a shot in the morning before I go buy a new one. I didn’t want to buy a new one. I just need to replace the innertube.
This worked. I tried all sorts of things. Glad I tried YT and found this video! Thanks for sharing !!
THANK YOU!!!! 2 literal years I’ve been borrowing a hand truck from others because I’d had it with that stupid tire.now I’m back in business!!!!
Good job my friend. I tried it as you did it. First one for me as well.
Worked just rite. Tks so much for the insight.

Now I owe you my life. I was so frustrated. Although seeing how easy it became, I am even more frustrated in a away.

Thanks very much, you saved me a ton of time and frustration.
Excellent! So glad.

0:34, was helpful. We couldn't do it at all and this part is really important for putting it back on. Thanks!
You are welcome!
Thank you so much! Even with my arthritic thumbs, I was able to make it work. Appreciate you.
Nice! Love it.
Thank you so much! I was getting so frustrated. Literally 3 minutes later… done!
Thank you for posting this! I’ve been struggling with a Wagontire for the last hour did it your way and it popped right on!
That's what I'm talking about!
You just saved me a lot of time.
So glad to hear it.
Thank you so much; you're a lifesaver. I was doing the same thing; your hack fixed it for me.

Praise God thank you I left it there for like a year because I couldn’t figure it out now I can confidently do it again if I have to
Also a little tip I did so the nozzle doesn’t fall through is be mindful of it but I did poke a safety pin with string through an old cap just in case because the first time it went through
Thanks for the tip. I used your approach, but still needed to use a screwdriver to fold the lip down the rest of the way into the wheel.
Thanks 😊
Yeah, depends on the fit. Glad you got it working.
So helpful. Excellent video and worked great. Thank you!
You are welcome!
short simple and to the point!
My husband thanks you very, VERY much!!!
Thanks it worked
This helped me from banging my head. Thank you!
This was really helpful but if your tires are new and gummy you will need some alcohol or soapy water to overcome the friction.
Excellent point.
Good looks

Oh good gravy I feel like such a moron, Thank you kind stranger
haha! No worries. I felt the same way.
Holy cow ! Thank you.
Thanks a bunch I was having the same issue
Nice!
Thanks. I struggled for 30 min with no success. I will try this trick.
You are welcome.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤

Hmmmm that's what I was trying to do but I couldn't get it Togo on. Guess I'll just have to keep trying another day
Best of luck!
Easier said that done. That must be a really really flexible tire. It did not work with mine
Tried this. does not work
Bummer!
thank you!!😂
great. how to get it off?
What is a hand truck?! Yankees
Truth!
I'm from GA and they've been hand trucks my whole life.
Why does every youtube video of these tutorials show the tire already half on?? Need a video where it show how to put the tire on from the beginning.
Did not work for me. I followed exactly what you did and used all my strength. Appreciate the instructions regardless
This helped a bit. But it was NO WAY as easy as you show. It's more luck and perfect pressure/placement
Cant get bastard tyre off to take out tube. I guess I'll need the hooked tools.
A new wheel, tire rim and tune is $10 just get a new wheel
Show off 🙄
I'm glad he showed off. So glad I went and liked his two other videos even though I don't own a Prius or a predator generator.
30 minutes later and still no way....must only work on old tires, not brand new ones
