I caught your video about the extension to the Metro and this one today. This one is a lulu! It covered so may places that I recognised and showed so much of LA life. That poor woman! I guess she was ill or something. It's a wonder she wasn't mown down or something! Wouldn't have missed this for the world! Many thanks for showing it.
i remember when i was first able to vote in 1976 , i remember voting for bond measures to start this . i left in late 1984 , but glad to see the progress that this has taken. thanks to supervisor han and george takai for all their hard work , and to all the ppl who worked behind the scenes to get the trains back to l.a.. i got to ride the red line from n hollywood to union station one time though . what a hoot .ps : thanks for sharing this snuffy.
Awesome find at 14:54. It looks like there is no pantograph. It is interesting to see how the trains get delivered to the metro. It always looks complicated.
+CROOK IT STREETS I know right. I live in an area where four highways, CA 135, 166, 1 and US 101 all go through the valley(135 and 166 intersect). We have awful traffic. There was an old inter-urban electric line running for a few years, 100 years ago. I want it to come back.
At 8:09 I find it cool when I would always learn African American history since I had a bunch of African American friends and My favorite African American rappers anyways nice metro content!
The Green Line will have a lot more relevance when the Crenshaw line opens, IMHO. I also think the Silver and Orange lines deserve a little attention. The Silver to El Monte and the Orange Line are ex-PE, and much of the Orange will soon be LRT. The Silver to San Pedro is also not un-fun to ride, especially when the San Pedro Red Car was running
How far this train goes I saw it we was n Los Angeles nice 🚆 train's on the highway. Four Car train I want a map. But didn't visited any station. Lots of Mountain s. Visited Malibu and Holly wood Beverly hills and Venice Beach. I love the ditch lights.on the metro

I can't believe is been 25 years! I remember how exited and how young I was when they broke ground. And I've only ridden it ones. Great video. RT

As always, awesome video. Enjoying every minute of it.
I really enjoy what you do on your channel, cuz I can relate to my childhood of riding on the skytrain in Vancouver BC. Keep doing what your doing. 😀

25'th anniversary my ass. If greed wasn't the main contender, it would've been the 115'th
As of now, the P865s and P2020s were retired, few P2000s are getting refurbished from Alstom, and P2550s joining the blue line
Awesome Video

why the trains are so old, look to Berlin or Paris the trains there are so new.
Look at the light rail trains in Phoenix. They look new since our light rail was launched in 2008

Flor Mauricio Well, I live in Arcadia so we'll get Metro Rail in March. :)
There will be if LA has the funding to do so...
