Just fantastic. Am 74 and my late wonderful brother introduced me as a 12 year old to Kenny and the Jazzmen on a PYE LP. Samantha and Blue Turning Grey Over You were my favourites and how fantastic seeing this upload. Immaculate guys with not an electric instrument in sight. Thank you so much
A fabulous performance from the band. Kenny always had a great and entertaining band. Very talented musicians. Kenny was a great trumpeter and played with feeling.
What a fantastic performance. This is Kenny Ball at his best and is how he should be remembered. Unfortunately sometime later his lip went and his performances were far more fragile after that. This is superb swinging trad jazz and showed what a brilliant instrumentalist and bandleader he was. Thanks for posting!
Saw Kenny’s Band in the early 60s at Turk Murphy’s “Earthquake McGoon’s Club” in San Francisco for a 1 night stand. They were fantastic, and I appreciate my Parents for taking me there. - BanjoBob
Plus the always forgotten Paddy Lightfoot (brother of Terry) on banjo who is still with us. An accomplished musician and a friend who I hold in high regard.
Fantastic listening

Fantastic performance; I had the great pleasure of meeting him a few years before he died; what a lovely man he was.
Always nice to see " the boss " in action.... R.I.P. Ken...

Yes, he was very conscious of that issue.
