@@Ssuurski Buddy, that's where you're wrong. At this time, TerraBlaze didn't have live Suite, so he created a midi clip lightshow, played samples with the lightshow, and then had a friend who had suite put the lightshow into midifire.

Kprado28 28 Ableton live 9 lite is actually the version that I'm using so yes, you can make covers with it. It's just more of a pain to make light effects without ableton suite. Just look up "how to make a launchpad cover" on UA-cam and watch inspiraspir's tutorial. That's how I learned. Honestly I have no idea where the tripod is from. I just found it in my closet xD sorry I couldn't help you with that one.

Keep in mind that when I first made this project and recorded it, I didn't have Ableton Suite, so I couldn't assign the MIDI lights to buttons. Some of the light show in the video is automated, (meaning the light show is separate from the buttons being played) including the part that you're talking about. There wasn't a way that I knew of to move the light show at that part when I was sampling the lights to midifire. Sorry about that.

MIDIFire is essentially the exact same concept as Exige's MIDI Extension. You just export a MIDI clip and drag it into the plugin it's self. As long as the lights folder for this project is somewhere in the places section on the left side of Ableton, you should be able to load the lights onto MIDIFire by finding the missing files (File -> Manage Files -> Manage Project ->Missing Files)

Banetix So I recorded this video before I had ableton live suite, so the lights in the video aren’t sampled, they’re just a light show playing in the background. When I later went to sample the lights, the the kick and snare lights couldn’t be moved to the right at that part because they are only sampled to play on the left side. It would be possible to move them with multisampling and stuff like that but it would just be a mess. Sorry about that.
