Everybody always talks about the groom not seeing the bride till the wedding day to surprise him. But my mind always goes to my wedding day when I seen my groom in his suit all dressed up for me. I never seen a more handsome man than my groom and now husband. This year will be 20 yrs since we been married and I still get butterflies in my stomach when he comes home from work.
Honestly, I totally get how a fiance who is deeply in love with their future wife would want to be involved in the process of choosing a wedding gown. He was honestly really sweet and respectful about the situation, and I'm sure he will be so happy when he's surprised by his bride walking down the aisle. (I'm nowhere near ready to be married and don't really care much for tradition, but I love the respect shown here)
I normally don't like the style of this dress, but is looks stunning on her! It even made me cry how beautiful she looks. For every body a perfect dress. And this dress is perfect for her.
I'm usually not a fan of dresses like these but she's one of the few that can really pull it off 😍 I wish we could see Paul's reaction at their wedding!
There's a VERY fine line between "I want to be involved in every aspect of this wedding...." and "I want to CONTROL every aspect of this wedding....." I think Pauly was cruising just the right side of the line.....
Sometimes "helping" is more about "controlling" (even if the person doesn't realize it himself). It adds a layer of pressure no bride-to-be needs when choosing The Dress. Thankfully MIL stepped in. Bride needs to learn to speak up for herself more.
I really liked it when they asked Paul's brother Mike if Paul should stay and help his fiance to pick out a wedding dress and Mike immediately said No! He didn't even think about the question they had asked him, he automatically said No and I thought that was funny, because Paul just looked at him like bro your supposed to be on my side and I was waiting for them 2 to start arguing, but they didn't! I really miss watching that show, because they were both funny especially Mike and their dad was really nice looking and I liked the way they built those choppers(motorcycles), because they came out nice and I liked the different designs the way they were made. I wondered why the show isn't on anymore, because it was a good show. But it was nice to see the two brothers again even if it was to pick out a bridal dress.
I've seen tons of episodes. But 4:09 this is the first time I gasped when a bride came out. Drop dead gorgeous. Damn. I wanna walk out like that when I come outta the dressing room.
I have watched so many of these SYTTD videos, but have to admit I agree the groom should NOT be with the bride picking out dresses. The dress looks great on her.
I get really antsy when I see brides with a die-hard picture in their mind of their dream dress. My "dream dress" as a Pnina but I KNEW it would not be flattering on with my height and body shape. I went into the shop and said "no train, not strapless, no beading, otherwise pick whatever will look good on me" and you know what I left with? Strapless, medium train with beading all over the neckline and bodice. I still cry (in a good way) when I see photos of that dress. You just never know what it's going to be until you're there, in the dress.
These girls are lucky to have an entourage to go with them. My girlfriends aren't into things like this, I had to twist my moms arm to go only person who wanted to go with me was my dad.
I’ve never understood these large entourages on these shows. Apart from the fact that you just get multiple different opinions, why would a bride want lots of people to see her before the big day? I’ve always enjoyed my first glimpse of the bride at any wedding I’ve attended. Only my Mum & Dad were with me to choose my dress, too.
Apropos of nothing, but .. a kewpie doll hairstyle? who is ready to be married? (ok,ok.. I’m 71, so there’s that). “I’m feeling like I’m in 5th grade again.”
I guess that I have watched too many episodes of SYTTD and seen this type of ruched dress a lot. It doesn't feel special to me. However, having said that, she does have a great body and it definitely looks good on her.
They've promoted this dress (or very similar ones) so many times over the years. I'm just tired of seeing it. However, as you said, she does look really good in it.
She is gorgeous and her body is perfection. I remember seeing her in American chopper in some blue tight jeans and her figure was just unbelievable! I've never seen such a body. Jr is a very lucky man
I mean this as an observation and not a criticism as the groom is a cute and kind man, but... The stripe of beard down the middle of his chin, the space between his two front teeth, his very distinct, pointy nose and the spike of hair right in the middle of his head make the experience of looking at him very strange - all of the site lines are right smack dab in the middle of his face.
I don’t see the big deal if her fiancé helps her and sees the dress. It is just a dress but sadly many make the biggest deal out of it. I don’t care if my man sees my dress before the wedding. It is just a dress that you will wear only once.
3:29 Wait, wait, wait! what just happened? *Why is he debating the woman that gave birth to him?* He goes back in the room to debate it w/ his wife?! This has to be staged
i am so against this stupid tradition to make the fiancee leave. i would release all the hell and its' demons if that consultant would be so rude and tell my husband to be that he s can't be there.
cosmetic surgery for the eyes on men really turn me off!!! i am thinking especially about Keanu Reeves, who I bet would have looked good with his wrinkles intact....
I don't understand why he can't see the bride dress till the wedding day or help her to choose her dress. This is an obsolete and very old tradition. My husband is the first person who I want to be beautiful that day, so I want that he chooses the dress with me. This is what I think and I have done when I married him 25 years ago. Horrible dress by the way, maybe he could choose better.
LOVE the mom in law! "I was voted by the committee to come & tell you..." LOL, they chose the right woman for the job!
Lol! Definitely, as only a mom knows how to discipline the kid when necessary, even if the kid is an adult. Lol! 😂😂😂
Good on the MIL for telling her son to back off. Good on her for being on her DIL's side
❤
Aw how sweet! I don’t see the big deal as it is just a dress. My man is the most handsome to me too.
Aha that so nice
This guy is overreaching a lot. And he is stubborn as hell, big red flag.
I think that after children the most beautiful thing is a long and happy marriage. You have set me up for the day thank you x
Honestly, I totally get how a fiance who is deeply in love with their future wife would want to be involved in the process of choosing a wedding gown. Stunning bride, every dress looked gorgeous on her
I normally don't like the style of this dress, but is looks stunning on her! It even made me cry how beautiful she looks. For every body a perfect dress. And this dress is perfect for her.
Paul will be totally glad he waited to see her!!!
I remember American Chopper... loved the show.
The dress is absolutely gorgeous on her!!! ❤
I'm usually not a fan of dresses like these but she's one of the few that can really pull it off 😍 I wish we could see Paul's reaction at their wedding!
Me too
There's a VERY fine line between "I want to be involved in every aspect of this wedding...." and "I want to CONTROL every aspect of this wedding....." I think Pauly was cruising just the right side of the line.....
Definitely a controlling future husband here. I hope she knows what she's in for..
A beautiful dress, on a beautiful woman! I’m glad Paul left, seeing her on her wedding day will be even more special ♥️
1:43 I'm glad she asked Mike! Voice of reason on the shop floor as well as inside the bridal shop.
Way to go Mom 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽!!!
Me too, I ended up with nothing at all like I was looking for, but I absolutely LOVED it and still do to this day!!!
One of the best episodes! He will be floored when he sees her walk down the aisle.
Yep he will be
Now I want to see the wedding and his reaction. Beautiful dress.
I think her Mom was just making sure she was getting the dress she wanted and not one that her fiancé' described.
I thought she didn't want a heavy dress because her wedding was in August? She's going to roast in that dress.
Surprisingly you don't it must be the adrenaline you just don't feel it
What an amazing MIL, so different from the usual ones.
Paul is a real catch… such a gentleman. Congratulations to a wonderful groom and a beautiful bride ❤

Agreed 100%.
I love Keasha’s smile and laugh. 😃
I always liked Pauly on the show. He seemed like a good guy. I hope they have a happy marriage and stay together.
MIL is absolutely correct.
I can't take him seriously with the little funny hairdo. He can't remember a kiss. They seem a good no brain match. 👌 All the best.
I've seen tons of episodes. But 4:09 this is the first time I gasped when a bride came out. Drop dead gorgeous. Damn. I wanna walk out like that when I come outta the dressing room.
I have seen this dress a million times. She is a tall, thin, beautiful young lady. The bottom of the dress is heavy but her choice of course.
The designer in him wanted to be in the mix thank goodness Momma Tutle stepped in to exercise her opinion. 😊 Rachel looks gorgeous 💗
I don't normally like to see men getting involved in selecting dresses, but Paul looked so disappointed. I felt bad for him.
Could tell he was so looking forward to see every dress she wears.
Thanks for posting this ❤
I really like the dress it's so beautiful
the flower dress makes me think of a Greek pillar in a Greek restaurant from the 90's
I have watched so many of these SYTTD videos, but have to admit I agree the groom should NOT be with the bride picking out dresses. The dress looks great on her.
No I don't think he should either
I LOVED the 3rd one that she wouldn't come out in
Ive seen the 2nd dress in diff episodes and it always reminds me of garlic dangling on the side. 😅
I get really antsy when I see brides with a die-hard picture in their mind of their dream dress. My "dream dress" as a Pnina but I KNEW it would not be flattering on with my height and body shape. Say Yes to the Dress, I loved this video so much, I had to hit the like button!
How old is this episode? That pnina one ive seen on many brides. 6:29
2010
Perfect on her, stunning!
Mom s so beautiful, OMG!
I LOVE a beautiful different wedding dress. I don’t understand the ‘Vegas showgirl’ trend. There’s a difference between tasteful bling and a bedazzler
Absolutely stunning!💕

Bless you
And I watch these, because I wish I could have been asked to go, lol.
A groom to be should never help pick out the bride’s dress or see it before the wedding day!
Come on Paul. Let her dress be a surprise.
Apropos of nothing, but .. a kewpie doll hairstyle? who is ready to be married? (ok,ok.. I’m 71, so there’s that). “I’m feeling like I’m in 5th grade again.”
Lil, I'm 69, never got to get the dress, so I watch.
Pauley has always been my favorite!!❤ God Bless him!!
Run!!!!!

He's a reality tv star. If there's cameras he wants to be there

Agreed, she would make anything beautiful.
When a man says I don’t want to influence you, then you know he usually gets what he wants because of a patterned behaviour.
okay...are you kidding me with that many people for shopping for a wedding gown. SYTTD should have a limit. that's ridiculous.
She is gorgeous and her body is perfection. I remember seeing her in American chopper in some blue tight jeans and her figure was just unbelievable! I've never seen such a body.
Jr is a very lucky man
Once her oafish fiance left she showed lots of personality. Nice bride.
Flo is so cool calming funny intuitive direct just awesome and so beautiful. I would love her to find my dress.
stay in your lane, groom. help out with the flowers, music, guest list, but let her have her day
7:35 me gustó de cintura para abajo, la parte de arriba, no
This bride is suffering from What would Paul think Syndrome. Yikes
She was beautiful
Buy it, tell mom to get on board
SHE and whoever, not HER and whoever!!!
Horrified by Randy's grammar !!!
That dress is not too hot for an August wedding? It is rhicknsatin. Hope they changed the date.
I mean this as an observation and not a criticism as the groom is a cute and kind man, but... Honestly I kinda felt bad for Paul even tho I don’t agree with men in the fittings because he was so disappointed

Oh lawd, bad enough having one guy there, but two????
I will say grooms should not see or pick out the dress, that’s bad luck.
I loved that groom. What a nice guy.
The guy says he feels like he's in 5th grade when his mom stepped in, well get rid of the hair style and you won't look like a 5th grader.
Paul is going to rule her whole life. She should have ran
You already think that just based on a short clip?
Yes, his arrogance and need for control is abundantly clear.
How long ago was this? Are they still married?
He wants to be in control
Not necessarily as maybe he just wants to see it before the wedding. I don’t see the big deal at all.
I got "abuse" vibes from him immediately.
That guy pushing to deep his nose in woman stuff/dress is already a red flag 🚩
Why? Is it ok to be involved but of course let the bride make the final decision. People make the biggest deal out of a one time dress.
Ick!
Too much Pinna
Who brings all these people to try on dresses
i am so against this stupid tradition to make the fiancee leave. i would release all the hell and its' demons if that consultant would be so rude and tell my husband to be that he s
can't be there.
For you it’s stupid but for us it’s tradition it’s not stupid
OLD OLD video!!
cosmetic surgery for the eyes on men really turn me off!!! i am thinking especially about Keanu Reeves, who I bet would have looked good with his wrinkles intact....
He should have stayed with her
I'm sorry but this man is way too controlling. I was in a marriage like that and it lasted 2 years.
AGAIN, you can’t STAY STUCK on what Used To Be or be Narrow Minded about things!
Maybe he should be in fifth grade?
I thought they were married for years
This an old episode
Yes, this episode aired in 2010, the same year they got married.
She wanted completely difftent style, but OF COURSE they had to push her into that banal Panina. The mother felt something was off.
Yes, the mom knew
Look out for the MIL. Where's the mother of the bride?
Her mom was right there. And there was nothing wrong with the mother in law. She was very sweet
The mother in law was looking out for the bride, making sure the groom was put in his place.
Question. If the groom can't have any say in the dress, should the bride have any say in the tux?
Nobody cares what the groom wears
As long as his attire fits the occasion. No one looks at the groom , except the bride
@@pattyk734Nobody cares what the bride wears either.
@@emilyfeagin2673That’s not true at our weddings. No one gives a care what the bride wears.
His so wired let her pick her dress and leave
Now, please tell your son to get rid of the ugly hair cut.
If he wants to pick out the dress that is a sign of controlling. Red flag.
Controlling ...??
Bye bye Paul
Bonker dress over price.
