Thanks Jill. I am a big fan of the brick stitch! I absolutely love (as you just stated) the flexibility of the completed bracelet. I’ve made a few bracelets that begin with a ladder stitch then moves right in to the brick stitch. The finished project is so supple and it just looks so cohesive.
I just found a brand-new-to-me stitch! :-) I was like you; I didn't see how it could hold together. But, does it ever! Thank you for your videos. You explain so well, without talking down to anyone. Nicely done, lady; nicely done!
Was very intimidated by beads work and tried out other medium like polymer clay and rope but I didn't really like them. I just decided to go beyond my fears and tried out different methods thanks to your videos ! You are a wonderful teacher. Keep shining :-)
I want to thank u ive watched alot of videos trying to learn this stitch and always ended up confused lol u made it so easy to learn ur amazing thank u keep up the awesome work ☺ u now have a new fan ur great
Is there any "right" way to work with brick stitch in terms of flipping it or working right to left and then left to right? Because if you flip it and always work from right to left every other row will have the thread come in from behind or front. I hope you understand what I mean. Does it matter?
